This is the third book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order. This read is fast-paced with loads of drama and emotion. The characters have lots of depth and the story really draws you in, looking forward to finding out what happens next. A good read.

Is the third book from this awesome series. As most of reviews say if it's for a series read them in order and don't skip any of them. You'll definitely be lost. This one starts out with a prolonge to Ero's dark past and with why he is the way he is. And even more about why he doesn't want to return. And surprisingly it does or will fit the bill as the story goes along. I actually enjoyed this one till almost the very end. Did not enjoy the "rape" part of the story, but it is what it is and I was expecting it at some point in this story to tell the truth. But other than that this story like the other two books are great.

The book starts with a prologue that gives insight into Ero’s past. Back in the shared present, the group seems to be suffering through quite a bit of infighting that is seeming to take precedence over their greater quest. Ero and Roan are always at odds. Damien shows up through his link to Ero, causing havoc. The book ends on a significant cliffhanger.
I found this installment of the series a little frustrating because of all the strife between Roan and Euro and how Annalise was stuck in the uncomfortable middle. It might seem strange to have a preference, but I prefer when the members in an RH group work as a team rather than seeming to be at odds all the time. Yes, of course, there has to be conflict, but I prefer teamwork when a group strives towards an important goal, so I prefer squabbles or disagreements, not such a great chasm between people. The group's internal conflicts were definitely what this installment was about and not so much the greater picture. I find some of the author's use of language a little off-putting. For some reason, I expect my fantasy reads to have a certain elevation of language that precludes certain terms that feel more modern. Such words pull me out of the fantasy world and back into the present.
Still, I founded this portion of the series to be an interesting read and am curious to see what happens next.

This is the third story in the The Royal Shifters series. You should read these stories in order so you can follow along on who has done what and where they are going or gone so far on their journey to stop evil from ruling the Earth. The characters are fantastic and diverse. I think it is great that each character is from a different country, some are at war with each other, some are indifferent to each other.
In this story, they are going to Norway to try to round up troups to get Annalise's country back from her evil husband(?). Is he her husband if it was never consummated? You learn more about Ero's background and in this he has to prove he is who he claims to be. (Sound familiar?) He claims to be descended from a god, Loki. He is put to a pyre and when Annalise shows up and walks into the flames naked with him and they walk out alive, he becomes Jarl. He finds he fathered a daughter during his player days and then takes responsibility for her and her mother, but not to marry her. He is in love with Annalise, yet he is the weak link that Damien uses to get to her, at least in the past. He straightens out the wrongs that the last Jarl had instituted and has a contest for the next Jarl since he won't be staying. He lets the men know that he is gather a force to go fighting, which they hadn't been allowed to do in years. He gathers a huge force and goes back to Scotland to rouse the Vikings out of there and to get the Scottish their land back.

Annalise has gone from being a sheltered Princess to being married twice, kidnapped, seen death and visited a Fae kingdom. Together with her three shifters (Roan, Li and Ero) she has to help Ero convince his people (he hasn't seen for decades) that he is real, is the rightful ruler and that her plight is their own too. She also has to try and stop Roan and Ero from killing each other (not an easy job!). In the process she understands Ero much more and that he is not as hard-hearted as he appears. Can they make progress, stay alive and avoid whatever Damien throws at them?
OMG - I certainly didn't see the way this book ended and can only hope that things work out for Annalise going forward (as the chips are even more stacked against her that they were before!!). With lots of drama and excitement, this is definitely a slow burn reverse harem story with some sexual content. I really can't wait to find out what is going to happen next (especially when some of the events of this book come to fruition) where I can definitely see bloodshed on the cards.

I received a free copy of this book however all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
This is the third book in this series and you really need to have read the other two to make any sense of it (and they're so great why wouldn't you want to read the other two?!).
In this instalment we follow our troupe to Scandinavia, and we see Annalise and Ero growing closer: much to Roans displeasure. The writing is as brilliant as in the previous books, at points it had me on the edge of my seat, and it's why at three am this morning I was still reading as I was unable to put it down!
We are left on a cliffhanger yet again, so now I just have to wait patiently for the next book.
Is it ready yet?...........................how about now? *taps foot and looks at non-existent watch* ......................now?.........................yeah, I don't really do patience so take pity on me Alice and don't leave me hanging too long!! 😉

Loved it!
In this third book in The Royal Shifters series, we get whisked away to Ero’s place in the world, still filled with nonstop action, twists and turns an nothing comes easy as they continue their quest to build their army. This series gets better with each passing book. Things start happening to Annalise’s character that open up more questions and intrigue, she is definitely stronger and has evolved so much, the characters dynamic shifts yet again, which leave you questioning and wanting more, the jealousy continues as they try to come to terms with their feelings for each other which is realistic and relatable. Still captivating, in depth character building, tons of emotions, great world building and description. This one definitely has some heartache and Damien still manipulating and weaving his way in. Will they ever win? Cliff hanger yet again and immediately into book 4, don’t want this series to end.

Her Viking: A Fantasy Romance Norse Adventure is book third of the Royal Shifters saga. The book has our main characters travelling to the land of the Vikings in the hopes of amassing an army with which to fight the evil sorcerer Damien and reclaim Annalise's throne. The book continues from where book two left off and is the most comprehensive when it come to the character development of one of the male main characters, Ero. While this book also ends on a cliffhanger, it is the first that actually moves the story forward in direction of the main plot. We actually see the return of Damien and get a foreshadowing of what's to come. Sadly, the bickering among the shifters continues, which by this time is really growing quite tedious. One can only hope that by the next book they will have figured out how to work together.

This one focuses on Ero. We start with his backstory prior to his capture. Damien makes his presence known as he takes over Ero as they travel to Ero's homeland. Unfortunately, Annalise is witness to this, which causes her to distance herself from all 3. Once they make it to his homeland & get to the jarl's home, Li & Roan are unable to shift back to their human body & are put in cages. Things turn for the worst for Ero & Annalise the same evening. Nope, no spoiler here. :) Ero has to prove his trustworthiness to the Vikings as a leader to get them to follow him in their quest to defeat Damian. Damian makes a second appearance later in the story which will affect all.
Lots of action from page 1 thru the end of the book. Book 3 ends with a cliffhanger, but by this point you are invested in all of the characters making you look forward to book 4.

The prologue of this book about broke my heart for Ero. He tells of the day he went up into his hiding spot up in the rafters to read without interruption until he was pulled out by a scream and what he sees will leave a lasting impression on his life. This book brings the series up another notch in emotional and physical intensity. Annalise and her companions are travelling to Ero's homeland. Damian is still chasing after them and causing mayhem. There's also magic working within Annalise which was seen and briefly acknowledged, but not explained. The emotional and physical intensity has just shot up another notch with this book and leaves us with a HUGE cliffhanger and more questions. I am absolutely captivated by this series and can't wait for the next book to come out.

The evil Damian has not given up and is still chasing our hero’s as they travel to Ero’s homeland. The emotional and physical intensity of this installment has me wondering if they are the right people for this quest. This is book 3 to The Royal Shifters Series and I absolutely loved this story and I can’t wait to get my hands on book 4. Annalise doesn’t know what to do she’s in the middle of Euro and Roan fighting they are always at each other’s throats. Euro is haunted by what he saw his father do when he was young he was sitting in the rafters reading and it has given him scars that he won’t be able to ever get over. This story is mostly about Euro and his life as a child up until now. Damien is still after them and he is causing so much trouble within the group, just know that there is a cliffhanger at the end of this book but it’s a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book.

Her Viking by Alice Wilde is the third book in The Royal Shifters series. This book begins where the second book Her Highlander left off. Annalise, Ero, Roan, and Li leave Scotland and make their way to Scandinavia to visit the Viking home of Ero. On the way the run into lots of dangers and threats to their lives. This story is a traveling adventure story where at every turn they are threatened by the evil Damien. I couldn’t stop reading this compelling tale of love. Anyone who enjoys reading about an epic quest with romantic interactions between one woman and three men will love this book as much as I do. Her Viking is a tale of an adventurous quest.

This is the 3rd book in the series. These books should be read in order so you can understand what is going on in each. There are cliffhangers. I was able to read them all one after the other so did not have to wait for the next book. They were a slow read for me took me a bit to get into the stories. There is actions and twist/turns, adventure. There are a lot of emotions in these books. This one has issues between Ero & Roan and puts Annalise in the middle. This is different than your normal shifter reverse harem with all the conflicts. This one they are going to Norway.

In this part of this series, Annalise is taken to Scandinavia to meet the people of Ero and convince them of support for their cause. The ghost of Ero is taken on board by Damien who continues to chase them. The relationship between Roan and Ero is clouded by this and the battle between the two men continues. The people of Ero are found and the Vikings go with them. Once again the spirit of Ero is taken over with far-reaching consequences. In the meantime, the journey has started to China, where Li will try to get his people to fight against Damien and for the kingdom of Annalize.

Book three in The Royal Shifters series this series of books must be read in the order they come out to understand what is happening. The series continues with discord, danger, suspense, drama, betrayals, and more challenges to come. It is just getting more interesting with each new book. Annalise, Ero, Roan, and Damien will have infighting with their group this time. I enjoyed reading looking forward to the next book. This is the third book in this series. I missed the first book, but enjoyed the second which ended in a cliffhanger. Now she and the three shifters are on the run. She is married to Roan but has an attraction to Ero and he to her. They act on their feelings and it makes a rift between Roan and Ero. There is lots of intrigue and another cliffhanger. Can't wait for the next book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy from Booksprout.

This book is another excellent addition to the series. It is well written and the story and characters are well developed. I love the character dynamics and watching the relationship dynamics change throughout the series. The story was action packed, full of twists and turns, and had plenty of chemistry, emotion, intrigue, suspense and romance. I look forward to the next book! I’d highly recommend this book and the series so far!!

After reading this book I had to take a little time to compose myself and get my thoughts clear in my head before I put them in a review.

This is book 3 in the Royal Shifters series. You should definitely read books 1 and 2 before this one. It’s getting harder to review these books because I really don’t want to give any spoilers. What I will say is that this book will give you all the feels as it gives insight into Ero’s past and as the group works against the odds to fight evil. There’s plenty of intrigue and twists and turns along the way. I’m really enjoying this series!

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. A continuation from the book and the series a Fantasy Romance. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and raw passion, strength, happiness with a happily ever after. Erotic was a major turn on. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

Amazing read that tells an interesting story. The plotline is easy to follow as long as you read the previous two books. Which you will want to do if you plan to follow the series as there are many spoilers of the previous books. The characters are amazing and well developed. The cliffhanger is epic and I cannot wait to read what comes next.

Wow!!! This story was awesome. In this third book of the series we learn more about Ero, the Viking, and why. Things are getting hairy, with Ero and Roan constantly bickering and causing Annalise to fix it. I can't wait to read the next story in this series. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up.

What an ending!
Woah! I didn’t see that ending coming. This series is definitely getting interesting. This book was a darker with Damien resorting to horrible means of getting to Annalise. I liked getting to really know Ero but I hope the trio is not ripped apart because of betrayals.

Her Viking: A Reverse Harem Fantasy Romance by Alice Wilde is a wonderful story that I have read. This is book number three in this wonderful series that I have fallen in love with. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about shape shifters and paranormal romances in their stories.

Another great book in the series. I love the back and forth between Annalise, Roan, Li, and Ero. This book is centered on Ero's homeland and really adds to the travels and quest for the 4 of them. I can't wait to read the next book when they are in China.
