After reading book one in the series, read my review HERE, I could not wait to just jump right into this one! I adore all the characters and the story line itself. This is a post apocalyptic zombie read.butthe story is not all about a group trying to evade the evil dead. There is so much more going on here and although they do encounter the brain eaters, it is few and far between.

There was so much more action in this installment. It was literally non. stop. Every time you thought the group was

I am posting a small spoiler free review of a book I was lucky enough to get ahead of release (it comes out 28th Feb).

The book is Kill or Cure: Bloodlust & is the second book in the Kill or Cure serious by Pixie Britton so if you have not heard of the series or have but have not read the first one, get on it straight away.

Bloodlust picks up right where the first book left the gang and continues to follow Alyx our main protagonist as she continues to battle the infected, but now also

Great characters, including a fantastic female protagonist!

Gotta love a good series where the lead character is a layered young woman, who is smart as she is brave, and is as bad-ass as they come!

In this second thrilling installment of the Kill of Cure series, Alyx is desperately trying to get her brother the help he needs. As his bloodlust and craving for human flesh starts to takeover, Alex, along with her motley crew of friends, take a risky journey to Alhena in order to find the one person

Thank you, Pixie, for giving me a copy of Kill or Cure Bloodlust for free in exchange for an honest review. Possible Spoilers

Like its predecessor this it isn't your stereotypical run of the mill, zombie apocalypse novel, I thoroughly enjoy the way Pixie takes the zombie genre and gives it her own unique twist. It does have zombies but it is also loaded with, Family bonding and their willing to overcome any obstacle that may come in between them. The dynamic between three of the main characters

The group is on the way to Alhena to try to find a cure for Tommy. But the path to Alhena is full of infected and General Sinter is still out there after Ally and Tommy. And even if they can get to Alhena it doesnt mean that they could get in or if the person they are looking for could even help them.

There is so much stacked against them but the group still keeps fighting. I loved seeing how everyone has grown since the first book. I loved little Winter, she is so cute and so much more than the

"The Tommy lying next to me is so far from the young and carefree boy in my dreams; in reality, he is somewhere between human and Infected. When I look at him now, its easy to forget that hes barely twelve years old. The virus has aged him beyond his years and the grief has extinguished the light from his eyes. It kills me to see him this way and only adds to my insufferable self-loathing."

I chose to read book 2 in the series because it reminded me of The Passage by Justin Cronin. However, I

I loved this second instalment in the trilogy! More character development and more action - so good! Another quick read because its just so unputdownable! Every page is a page turner and I found myself desperate to keep my eyes open each night to find out what happens next. Were introduced to some great new characters this time around, as well as getting to know those wed met in book 1 a little better. Chomping at the bit for the third and final book to see how this story pans out, and for this ...more

You'll want to read book one to get the full effect of this book. Alyx has grown up since book one, and there are things other than the walking dead she needs to worry about. The military and rogue gangs now challenge her and those around her. But Alyx stays true to herself through it all, and you won't be able to put this book down!

Throughly enjoyed this sequel. It is easy enough to read as a stand alone book but likewise keeps you interested with the characters you grew to love (and hate) from the first book. New characters are added (like the fabulous Benne) and the story is gripping towards the end.
Highly recommended

The second book had me gripped just like the first one. I feel like I really got to know the characters both new and old in this book. Sometimes I find books go on a bit and I skip a couple of sentences, this didnt happen with this one, I read every single word. A really different angle to the last one and it worked so well. I found myself not wanting the book to end and I already cant wait to read the next. ...more

If you thought the first book was great, just wait until you read this one.
The dynamic between three of the main characters creates a well detailed and complex love triangle. Not usually a fan but Pixie makes it work.
The journey through the desert and back streets to Alhena really provides an epic dystopian landscape.
The introduction of some great characters that really add balance to the group along with a big bad to rival Sinter.
A cage fight is one of my favorite scenes in the book.

Being a big fan of sci-fi and post-apocalyptic scenarios I was a big fan of this book. The book follows the prequel very nice in the beginning and you as a reader get to follow the perspective of Alyx, who's brother is having some strange effects due to a bite.

The book takes the group from the first books adventure further, as a reader I definetly got the feeling of chasing as the "bad guys" might not be far behind at all and being one step ahead is really challenging for the group due to all

I have to say, I read this book and it keeps you glued to itself with the contents.
It sure does have zombie-fiction events but it is also loaded with Love triangle, Family bonding and a will to overcome any obstacle that may come in between the team!
I think it is one of the best zombie-fiction novel I have ever read!

Kill or Cure #2: Bloodlust by Pixie Britton continues the adventures of Alyx, Will, Winter, Tommy, and Colt. Tommy has been suffering as he becomes less and less in control of when the infection takes over. Winter has been dragged along on this adventure but is becoming a valuable member of the team. And Alyx, Will, and Colt are stuck in a love triangle.

Why didnt I mention any actual story aspects about those three characters? Well, because I dont think they have any story aspects besides the
