Chirp teaches the reader effective communication skills in a simple, down-to-earth manner by using real-life examples. What I liked most about the book is that it doesn’t come across as pretentious by using overly-complicated theories or definitions like some books on communication do. Instead, Chirp tells stories that everyone can relate to, and uses them to point out how anyone can improve their communication skills by challenging their ingrained ways of thinking. This particular book is actually educative, it also helps to improve communication skills while reading it i had a smile on my face and i learnt more about what i was ignorant about because it been long i read a book like this.

I love the insight Kara shares in Chapter 3 and the section on Be Confident, explaining the relationship of confidence to humility. Then in the final chapter Be Real she wraps it all up perfectly.
