4 Star Misbehavior

But then it’s back to her dull routine. She doesn’t have time for a man if she wants to reinvent herself, so she’s shocked when she meets her masked man in the flesh and he’s determined to win his princess.
This sexy romp of a romance is a spicy heartfelt
Charlotte Dixon never imagined that the costume ball she went to would end up with her sleeping with a man she can't get out of her head. Ash Marlborough is used to women balking at his scars but when the beauty he would up with in his arms had no clue who he was or that his scars had nicknamed him The Beast.

Ash is on the verge of hiring an investigator when Charlotte walks into his office for a job interview, he knows it is her. For the first time in his life he wants more than a couple dates,

Charlotte lives with her stepmother and two stepsisters. Also her step-grandmother who she looks after. When her father died, there was nowhere else for her to go. She was about eight at the time. The stepmother and stepsisters treated her like a slave while she ran the household and took care of the old lady. Her and the old lady loved each other dearly. Ash is very rich and his face is badly scarred from a childhood fire. He and Charlotte met at a charity ball. Still wearing their masks, they ...more

This was an awesome story. You can definitely taste the Cinderella story in the background with the evil step-mom and step-sisters and the fairy Godmother is a wonderful step-grandmother, and her friends. The characters were wonderfully constructed and the story takes you on a magic carpet ride of emotions. You feel sorry, excited, scared, furious, tentative, ecstatic, sorrow, devastation. From the highest highs to the lowest lows.

Charlotte never thought fairy tales were real, until she ended up in her own. She attended a ball against her stepmother's orders and met the man of her dreams. Ash Marlborough is an advertising mogul and used to women throwing themselves at him thanks to his money and reputation. However, he was in a fire when he was young and has scars that cause people to cringe. Ash's grandmother tells him to look for the princess and that's how he meets Charlotte. I loved their grandmothers' meddling. Betwe ...more

Will Charlotte have her happily ever after
This is my first book by Shelley and I will definitely be looking for more books by the author. This is a Cinderella theme book where the main characters grandmothers play fairy godmother as Ash is told to look for a princess in the apricot dress (Charlotte) at the masked ball. Charlotte is mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters, but stays to take care of her grandmother who she is not even related too. When Charlotte walks through Ash’s door to in

I know if you've read one, you've read them all; but this one will hot you in the heart. She's the type of girl that doesn't let life tarnish her outlook on life or how she treats others, though no one would blame her if she did. She still sees the beauty in the ugly around her because of all the ugly the world keeps throwing at her. It may have forced her to build walls to protect her heart from love and hurry, but it's not going to stop her from subconsciously wanting to be free to be herself. ...more

Good read about a self made millionaire and lonely young woman who are pushed together by their grandmother's. Ash was burned in a fire when young and has scaring on his face and body and has been given the nickname, the Beast by an ex girlfriend. Charlotte is like Cinderella as her father has passed away and her stepmother and her daughters treat her pretty awful. The grandmother is not her real grandmother but loves Charlotte as her own grandchild.

Nice Take on Cinderella

While this was a nice take on the Cinderella story with just enough romance, there were just enough grammatical errors to throw me off while reading a few times This book was a quick read that I finished in one evening, which I appreciated, but didn’t seem to move though the storyline too quickly considering it’s shorter length. Having a lead male who’s appearance is not 1,000% flawless and he’s not the stereotypical Prince Charming was a great detail as well! There were

Charlotte didn't realise that going to a masked ball would result in a night spent with a sizzling hot Zorro. Then it was back to a life of looking after her grandmother and being the dogsbody for her stepmother and her stepsisters. Her grandmother insisted that she went to a job interview, and she was stunned to find out that she was interviewing with her hot Zorro. She gets the job, but has to withdraw after her grandmother becomes ill. Can Ash convince her that he is interested in her.

A Formidable Cinderella
A contemporary Cinderella storyline that had a really really evil stepmother and sisters. Cinderella, played by a Charlotte and Ash who played by the Prince met at a charity ball where they hooked up for one night. Then her grandmother arranged for her to be interviewed for a graphic design position which turns out to be for Ash’s company. They form a formidable force to deal with the steps. The ending is unique and I loved it.

Fairytales come to life in this story, but not just Cinderella, I can also think there's a little Beauty & the Beast twist added in. Charlotte is definitely in need of rescuing but not only just from her step-family but also from her own lack of self-worth, I felt sorry for her, she's such a compassionate person. Ash is determined to be her Prince Charming and he is patient with her. With him and her feisty side, she blossoms. Great couple, their chemistry is off the charts and although the rela ...more

This is a great story. I love reading anything by Shelley Munro. I loved this new story.

Charlotte spent a wonderful night with a masked man. She went to a masked ball. Her life hasn't been wonderful. Her only saving grace was her Gran. When she goes for a job interview, she is surprised to see her masked man again. Ash is stunned to see the woman he spent the night with. They had incredible chemistry. Ash and Charlotte start spending more time together but her family wants to keep them apart. Wi

One Night Of Misbehavior by Shelley Munro is a fabulous read. Ms. Munro has given us a well-written book packed with outstanding characters. Charlotte stays home and takes care of her step-grandmother. She's a regular Cinderella, cleaning and cooking for her step-mother and step-sisters. Ash is the owner of an advertising agency. Charlotte and Ash's story is loaded with drama, humor, sizzle and suspense. I enjoyed reading this fun book and look forward to reading more from Shelley Munro soon. On ...more

This is a modern Cinderella novel, but begins where the Disney tale leaves off. The ball was over when the book started and it didn’t take long at all for the Price to find her, so most of the book was her building her relationship with her man and navigating the treachery of her stepmother and stepsisters.

I did want her to grow a backbone, but I can understand her reasons for not standing up for herself.

I normally like Munro's book better than this one but I didn't care for the voice in Charlotte's head. In paranormal books I expect the voice but it just seemed weird in this one. This was kind of a mix between Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast. I liked Ash. He was flawed yet loving and caring. I had mixed feelings about Charlotte. She was a sweet, caring woman but only stood up for herself when "Miss Feisty" spoke in her head. The book had plenty of steam and a definite twist on Cinderella bu ...more

This book is another quirky story by Shelley Munro. It’s an interesting version of Cinderella. Charlotte meets Ash at a masquerade ball and, well, you know the rest of the story. There were parts where I became annoyed with her but Charlotte has her inner “Ms. Feisty” who gets her through some tough spots. The emotional side of the story was somewhat flat, but the reader is led to recognize their attraction to each other. The ending is worth reading the book for and left me cheering for the main ...more

I enjoyed the story of Charlotte and Ash, although I do wish the insecureties and poor communication could have been tampered down a little. I do understand it was a modern version of a Cinderella story, but I wish Charlotte could have been just a little more forth comming and trusting, and I wish Ash had been better at talking to her. But all in all I did like this take on the Cinderella story and I enjoyed the writers style so I will be looking for more books from this writer!

A cross-over of Beauty and the Beast & Cinderella with heat.💞❤️️💞

This story is so fun to read! Charlotte and Ash make a fun couple with enough passion between them to burn down the house. Whew!💗🔥💕

Charlotte lets her Grandmother convince her to go to a masked costume ball, where she meets Ash and they have one sizzling evening together. But when they forget to exchange names and information, ash thinks he's going to have to hire someone to find her. The fates, however, have other plans for them.😉❣
1.5 snooze stars.

Way too tame. And slow. And uneventful. I wanted to give up every page after the halfway mark. Somehow I powered through.

And this ain't love.

Ash kept flipping back and forth between what he believed about Charlotte's intentions with him when obviously he should be full on suspicious because I've seen zero non-cliché reason on why Charlotte is with him. She literally spits out cliché bullshit at him and expects him to believe her. Honey, I don't even believe you. Why does he?

I'm not really a fan of the whole fairytale retelling genre so while I'm a fan of the author I was cautious about this book. I didn't need to be as I absolutely enjoyed it from beginning to end. Yes, the heroine is taken advantage of by the 'steps" but it didn't have that whole fantasy vibe which turns me off. While the characters may not have always been the most believable (again - fairytale), they aren't simple characters & are have been written with care. A great standalone story. ...more

A Cinderella Beauty and the Beast mashup.

Charlotte Dixon has a dreadful stepmother Elizabeth who spent every cent of her inheritance. She’s got a horrid jealous fiend in Jenny.

What she gets is a scarred beast with a heart of gold she meets at a masked ball. Ash. They are hooking up.

She’s get the guy, the job but will it all come crashing down when truths are revealed?

A steamy twist on the fairytale.

A modern day Cinderella meets Beauty and the Beast complete with the evil stepmother. Despite his player reputation and past, Ash is the type of man most women dream about. Charlotte is the caring person that most men want to date. Together they are perfect for each other and this make for a really enjoyable read. This is a must read book for all the romantics.

This was such a great read for me it had a lightness and ease to it. It was full of humour, sadness, love, grief, chemistry, real life, sincerity, hopes, dreams and beautiful connections. I wish it had been longer because everything was wonderful and I wanted more! Ash and Charlotte were both strong and vulnerable characters, they felt real to me and I loved them, Ash is my new book boyfriend.

A quick enjoyable read. I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing a greater sense of reality to her story.

The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end. The chemistry between the H and h is great plus their attitudes and events going on make the story even richer.
