A tangential book with farce and parody overtures run amuck. I give credit to the other for being a post post modern writer, not intellectually but stylistically. Where nazi Dinosaurs and doppelgängers exist in a place of the damned it’s a weird but lively book.

One-star book, but I have to admire the author's persistence in holding down a small idea and beating it mercilessly until it has yielded every possible bad joke and unlikely fight scene. Can there really have been five books before this one?

A worthy conclusion to the series. As ridiculous as ever, and the number of characters Rogers brought back for the sendoff is cringeworthy, but it has an actual narrative and doesn't feel like padding. It's still a shame about the black & white printing, the art deserves better. Well maybe deserves is a strong word. But it could be better appreciated with larger, color prints.

I read these in the wrong order, and started with this, the last book in the series. It was very funny in a middle school guy sort of way, with well done illustrations of about the same humor level. A quick read with some good laughs.

This book is just a fun read. Definitely not one to take seriously..but the level of exaggeration and blood spilt made me giggle.
