He is Savage. Dominant. Primitive. I am slave to his instinct.

In the year 10,442, humanity is a space faring race.
We do not have sex, and we certainly do not breed.

I am an observer, a young woman alone in space, being punished for her sins. My sentence is to observe a remote planet where it is rumored an old Earth ship crashed thousands of years ago. According to records,

DNF super early!

IDK what the fuck is going on with Loki Renard right now...but it appears to come across in her books as extreme privilege and bullshit.

I just CAN NOT with her last two books. The last one (Consumed) featured a heroine who dragged the world into evil darkness after getting one night of dick. UGH.

THIS one...this one just just as fucking bad. Heroine is a space explorer who looks for life. Her last voyage ended in her causing a fucking GENOCIDE. 90% of an entire population killed c

Tselia is on her last reprieve when her "punishment" is to monitor a planet, three light years away. She's inquisitive, rebellious, independent, and technologically advanced with an advanced DNA. Oh, and to make matters worse, she is the illicit daughter to the Patron of her planet.
Zion is a warrior of a primitive village where males are Dominant and females are submissive. Most males of the village have already taken a mate. Zion is considered a prize of status since a female has not caught hi

Fascinating future worlds going on, with the star girl meeting her beast from another world. She comes from the stars and is so far advance in technology, life, and years. He is descendant from those who landed thousands of years ago, and live a more basic and less advanced living. When the two meet, he claims her as his own, and teaches her his way, by any way possible. I very very VERY much enjoyed this (in one sitting)!!!
Kindle unlimited.

Meh. It was short. There really wasn’t much romance. And Although there was descriptive sex scenes, it wasn’t very erotic to me. Definitely more towards domination: spanking, public sexual use as punishment.

The storyline with the heroine’s father being The Patron was a little watered down also.

But I didn’t hate it. It just didn’t sink it’s hook into me.
Short if you’re interested.

Alpha Male Adult Sci-fi Erotic Romance💞 and Adventure

Tselia💃 is a young woman sent by her basically immortal father, the Patron, to the earthlike 🌍 planet Hades Exile, to stay in high orbit and scan for life forms. Under no circumstances is she to go to The surface. A lost colony of humans may have landed there 10 thousand years ago.

This was a different read for me as I don’t normally read sci-fi type books, but this was really good and really dirty. There was spanking, claiming, anal, punishment, fighting. This book packed quite a punch. I might have to start reading more sci-fi books. It is definitely a must read. I will definitely be looking for more by this author.

Instinct is a stand-alone, sci-fi romance with a few darker themes. Tselia is being punished and sent to the middle of nowhere in space to see if she can find any traces of human life that used to be on the planet, Hades Exile. She’s shocked that within hours, she finds live humanoid bodies on the planet, so she goes to investigate. But when her shuttle crashes, she finds herself within Zion’s clutches. She’s amazed by the bond she forms with him, but just as she starts to get comfortable with a ...more

Tselia is from a planet where there is no sex, it's outlawed but she is the product of an illicit affair her dad, the leader of the planet had. Dad keeps her busy doing work that basically keeps her in deep space doing observations of other planets looking for humanity. When Tselia spots what she thinks are humanoids, she takes a small shuttle from her ship to investigate closer but crash lands. Zion comes to rescue her just in time before a group of female warriors attack her and the story gets ...more

Loki Renard has always been a very good story-teller, and she didn’t disappoint this time around. The premise of this book was unique and the characters were lively and engaging. I started and finished this book in one day; that’s how much I enjoyed this read.

What would happen if a woman from the distant future crash landed on a primitive form of our Earth, met others who share her similar DNA but who are still primitively tribal as compared to her life as an intergalactic traveler? Which way o

I received an Advance Copy of this book and this would be the 2nd book I’ve read from Loki and I LOVED THIS!
Advanced Alien Girl ends up in a world that’s Cave Man Like, which for a slight spoiler? I guess, is one of her kind that separated itself from them to live like a human, so the ‘cave men people’ can speak ‘old’ (in the advanced kinds terms) but broken English.
I’m saying this to the peeps who get pissy when English is spoken in ‘old world’ books.

As a star pilot she is to only observe, but when she sees there is a possibly humans, it lures her into exploring futher. While observing from her craft, she crash lands on the planet. I loved this book. Imagine being born on a culture that there is no sex and the discipline is not physical. Now you crash onto a land that lives completely different than you. And instead of avoiding sex, (which is actually outlawed where you are from) the Alpha leader has decided to claim you and now you have lots of sex. The food you eat, the way you behave is all handled by this man and boy is he hot!!! I love the connection with the characters and all the details that help you understand the ...more

I love Loki's stories and Instinct is one of her best so far (I think I say that with each new book)
Tselia and Zion meet in the most unusual way and become quickly attracted to one another. Their relationship is tumultuous and erotic and very combustible.
I love how Tselia is conflicted with what she knows and how Zion makes her feel.

Can Instinct trump Technological advances?

Instinct by Loki Renard is a great story and thought provoking.
Tselia is a scientific researcher from Earth's distant future. She is sent to observe a distant planet that may have life forms with related Earth DNA , but it is believed that they would be inferior and primitive. Tselia is very lonely and feels empty due to the customs of her advanced but sterile civilization. Despite orders to have no contact with the inhabitants of the planet, Tselia deci

A very enjoyable read

I Liked this story a lot it's about Tselia basically she works for her father exploring undiscovered planets for possible human life and she's on her last chance to prove to her father she can handle the job. When she actually discovers the planet she was suppose to inspect from space is actually inhabited with human life she's itching to get a closer look even though her father specifically forbid her from interacting with the natives. Tselia can't resist not going a little

Of all the planets, in all the universes.......

Tselia is part of a branch of humans that are technologically advanced, some kept in stasis and others that are emotionally disconnected, disease free, have extended lives, no physical intimacy and no reproduction.
Tselia is sent into space on a solo, years long mission. She struggles in this world/society of hers and longs for more, her impulses lead her to crash onto the planet under her observation. Running from danger she is captured, taken, mate

I knew I would be getting an incredible romance with this one since it's by Ms. Renard, but it was so much more than that.

All the feels! This story is full of adventure, dreams, hope, fear, trust, love and peace. It is also full of hot, passionate sexiness. Tselia is strong-willed and stubborn to the point of frustration. She is also not very good at following the rules, thinks she will never be good enough or find her place in the universe, and she is lonely. Zion is just as strong-willed and

Instinct by Loki Renard is a futuristic story of Tselia. She is part of an advanced race. On a mission to observe other worlds and civilization she finds herself crash landing on the planet. She knows this isn't good because the last time she interacted with a population, it didn't end well. The population is uncivilized and primitive. Her civilization has not engaged in sex in centurys and this planet is very sexual. Her curiosity is why she was to close to the planet surface. Now she finds her ...more

Loki Renard pulls another cracking story out of her colourful imagination….
Tselia is on her very final reprieve for once again breaking the rules, her punishment is to monitor a planet some three light years away and she’s rebellious and inquisitive and has a very intelligent mind which has a habit of leading her into plenty of trouble and this has always been a problem.

This was a very different story in which a woman from the future, an "advanced" human woman from a futuristic time where humans have eliminated disease and have learned to keep humans living for extremely long times, so much so, that most of the species has been placed in stasis. It was a fun read. I specially loved the premise of the world; thousands of years ahead of us, super technologically advanced "modern" humans with a small colony of "not advanced" humans surviving on the outskirts of the universe. The modern humans are detached from humanity and live a very measured existence. They don't really live life and are either explorers or in stasis, frozen in a capsule. This is what the human race has evolved into.
The heroine of this story is a modern human female, fie

This is an extremely good & entertaining dark Sci-Fi romance, written by a talented author. The story-line & plot is well-written & excellent with a view point and/or description of two very different worlds with different outlooks on life and social manners. The unique characters have complex personalities with a variety of traits. They display realistic & believable emotional feelings.

Another Stellar dark story by Ms. Renard

I don't know where she gets her ideas from, but she always manages to make them work with her dark erotic themes. This one is set 10,000 years in the future, where humans are so far removed from their instincts and desires that they are almost Androids - they're pod people. When one crash lands on a planet inhabited by a lost civilization of humans . . . well let's just say that poor girl gets in touch with her animal-instincts by going native. Alpha-domin

As someone who loves sci-fi romance it’s not often I get surprised with something, but instinct is surprising not only in how addictive a read it is, but also with the unique world that Loki Renard built. Oh, this was a fun read. Seriously so. Where to begin?

Tselia Icaria is in a world of trouble. Caught interfering in the lives of residents on a planet (it didn’t end well), she’s been sent to the far reaches of the solar system with a stern reminder that she is to observe only. Yea, I bet you can guess how that went. Now she’s stranded on the planet and the biggest, baddest, alpha of them all has issued the following statement: Mine.

I’m not sure how many books “Instinct” will make for Loki Renard’s count on the year, but it’s the fourth I’ve read thus far. I’d say it’s been my favorite. I like my barbarians large, dominant, and if they can’t be a scholar, barely communicative—I’m a bit sapiosexual so I don’t like the men folk to disappoint me like that. Zion, our hero here, does fit that bill of goods, and our heroine Tselia is sassy and bratty enough to make the matchup work.

I wouldn’t call the ending of “Instinct” sad, b

So this was a hard book to read. I’m familiar with the kink portrayed in this but I felt like it was too one-sided and unfair.

The heroine was treated like a literal child—she was told to obey and obey and obey and never once did the Hero actually listened to her and tried to understand where she was coming from. She was punished relentlessly for something that wasn’t even her fault. And she was okay with it which annoyed me to no end.

I get that this is a D/s romance but not like this, not when
