SOAPBOX: I'll be honest I took a star off this book over the fact that the heroine was a 27-year-old virgin. I am SO tired of this trope. There was legit ZERO reason this heroine needed to be a virgin at her age. She was successful. She went to college. She apparently had multiple degrees and built her own company, and she was a-ok with getting kinky; her being a virgin was eye rolling. It's 2019, can we just please STOP with this type of heroine...sigh.
So off my soapbox...apart from the whole "virgin" thing I enjoyed this one a lot. The writing was good. It was well paced. The plot was engaging. It was pretty insta-love with virtually no angst. There wasn't any OW or OM drama. The sex was smokin' hot and plentiful. It had a great cast of secondary characters. Both Penny and Hagen were extremely likable main characters. Last, it was all wrapped up in an OK happy for now ending. I suppose we will see more of this couple in the other books.
So yea, I feel like I should apologize for docking a star from this book, but I can't. As a reader, I am just burnt out on the whole "virgin" trope. Especially in a case like this where it didn't fit with the heroine's character AT ALL. There was ZERO reason she needed to be a virgin, and If it hadn't been for that this book would have gotten at least 4 Stars, maybe more.
SIDE NOTE The age timeline in this one didn't work either. The heroine is supposed to be 27. Went to Standford and got multiple degrees. Gave her life up to raise her brother who is now basically 21 and started a whiskey empire almost seven years earlier??!! Not to mention it is stated many times she travelled the world for YEARS etc. Girlfriend should have been in middle 30's at the very least!

A full and complete story.
A nice twist to the virgin heroine and the possessive and rich boyfriend. I liked the writing style, the story and the characters. Some interesting side characters, too. I bet there are more stories to tell.

Master of Sin was a very sexy story in the new Gods of Vegas series by Sienna Snow about Penny (Persephone Starlight Kipos) and Hagan "Master of Sin" Lykaios. This story was sexy and so addicting. I could not stop reading.
Without giving away any spoilers, this story is full of long lost family secrets, betrayal and SO much drama. I loved how enamored Hagan and Penny both were of each other and the palpable sexual chemistry between them! Their fiery intensity came right off the pages. I also loved the underlying suspenseful theme prevalent in the story and the introduction to the Lykaios brothers. I seriously cannot wait for more books in this series as I am dying for Pierce's book!! 4.5 stars!! ~Ratula

This is my first read by this author and it certainly won’t be the last as this was a great read.
Hagan and Penny are two likeable characters that are hot together. Their chemistry is off the charts.
Two relatable characters with a great storyline. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author when the secondary characters get their own stories:)

I liked this book, the story line was interesting although a little hard to keep track of all of the different families involved, the characters were likable and had great chemistry and the sex scenes were hot, now on with book number two.

Dang Siennas characters are just 🥵 both Of them. Such a good read he's very alpha and sexy and dominant and it's such a steamy read and she's strong and opinionated gah yes. I also loved that they are Greek which is something I hardly see written. Plus i got the vibe that he loved her first..

There has been a lot of hype around how great this book is and I was so drawn into reading it. But I like to go in with an open mind and make my own judgements. Let me tell you right now that this book didn’t just live up to the hype, it smashed it clear out of the water. In fact I am still fanning myself and feeling a bit overheated as I write this review. This book is dirty, dangerous and so sexy but there is a beautiful love story buried deep within and that is what will draw you in and keep you hooked.
Persephone ‘Penny’ (Starlight) Kipos lives a very sheltered and innocent life according to the outside world. She works and is a shareholder of Kipos International, the company founded by her late father. But all is not as it seems. Before her father’s death he had been about to divorce his second wife Dara, mother of his son and Penny’s half-brother Aiden. But his untimely death, in a suspicious road traffic accident, meant that the divorce did not go through and Dara became joint shareholder with Penny until Aiden turned 21 and could take his shares. Penny has been under the thumb to Dara, in order to protect Aiden who at eight years younger, has almost being raised by Penny. Penny has put her life on hold to ensure Aiden gets his inheritance but Dara will do everything in her power to stop it. In reality she has secretly set up her own chemical distillery and created Firewater, an alcoholic drink that is selling for thousands of dollars per bottle and is in exclusive supply and demand. Penny has always suspected Dara is behind her father’s death but in order to prove it she may have to make a deal with the devil. So it’s a good thing she has been in love with him for as long as she can remember!
Hagen Lykaios has had a rough life. He was disowned by his father and kicked out at the age of 17 and he ended up roaming the streets with nowhere to go. After living rough and hungry for months and fighting off abusers he is finally taken in by Draco Jackson, the Japanese mob boss who runs Las Vegas. He took Hagen in and trained him as his own but this included being part of a criminal underworld and taking part in things that gave him a reputation that would stick. Eventually Draco came to view Hagen as one of his grandsons and allowed him to go off and conquer Las Vegas, but to know he would always be bound to him. Hagen goes on to make a name for himself and together with his younger brothers Pierce and Zack, they set up their own company, which has branched out into several industries until they own Vegas. The brothers are well known and respected but Hagen and his past are feared more of all. He has earned his reputations as the Master of Sin and it is something his tries to live up to. But again, all is not as it seems. He is not completely the bad boy the press makes him out to be. He is not a womaniser and is in fact friends with most of his ex’s. They all know where they stand and that he doesn’t want a relationship. But that might have something to do with the fact that no woman has made him feel the way his childhood friend Penny has. Now Penny is finally asking to be corrupted and Hagen doesn’t have the strength to resist.
Hagen and his Starlight are one hell of a couple. I don’t think that I have ever read a book where I could almost feel the couple’s chemistry bleeding out of the pages. They are so hot they are almost on fire! Penny, despite her innocence, has always know Hagen is the one for her and has held out until the time is right. She is determined to make something happen and act on the burning need she has for Hagen. But Hagen believes he is not good enough for her and as a result struggles to say how he really feels. This leads to Penny having doubts until she realises that actions speak louder than words. Hagen is such a complex character. He is forced into darkness with his past but that is not truly who he is. He allows the world to see the stone-cold persona, as it works for him but with his Starlight he is kind, caring and almost in awe of her. His jealousy and possessiveness actually turned her on. Hagen has loved Penny for as long as he can remember but he just doesn’t know how to say the words. But he knows the minute she gives herself over to him she is his forever. He owns her body and soul but it’s the love she gives him that helps him to see that he is more than just his past.
This book is part of a series and we are introduced to Pierce and Zack, the other Gods of Vegas who will be getting their own books, I hope! Because of the serial element to the books there are some bits of the plot that have gone unanswered and I hope they are covered in the sequel. But there are no cliff hangers that will leave you frustrated, they are just loose ends that need tying off. Plus, whilst I love the fact Hagen and Starlight agree to be together forever, I wanted to see what that looked like. I want to know what happens next.
Overall, I absolutely loved this book. Hagen is a strong, alpha male who loves to dominate and talk dirty. Penny is an innocent girl with a secretive, feisty side that has loved Hagen for as long as she can remember and is desperate for him to corrupt her. This leads to a sexy, passionate, erotic relationship that sets both of their worlds on fire. This book features secrets, lies, intrigue, lust, sin and lots of dirty sex which is the perfect combo for a great book. I cannot recommend this book more and I can’t wait to start reading the next book.

Master of Sin is the first book in the all new Gods of Vegas series and also my first Sienna Snow book ever. This was all kinds of hot and sexy with the perfect blend of suspense and laugh out loud moments. The writing was excellent and flowed super nicely, nothing stalled no matter what was going on. From the characters to the setting and even the playful, witty banter, I was all in with this story, literally finishing in one day and already dying for more.
Persephone Kipos has spent her life doing everything possible to ensure her brother, Adrian, was always taken care of. Including working for her stepmother who always made it clear that Penny was disliked and someone in the way of getting rich. What no one knew was how smart Penny really was and how well she kept secrets, being the sole creator of a brand new whiskey and ensuring no one knew she was behind the concoction. Now Penny's stepmother is more desperate than ever to ruin everything, causing Penny to turn to the one guy she's always loved but never acted on, Hagen Lykaios, for help to take back control and get out from Dara for good.
First I have to say how much I loved Persephone's character. Such a strong will and so feisty, but also brilliant when it came to playing a certain role. She knew what she wanted, which was Hagen, and had no shame of going after him, which was easy since the opportunity presented itself without any effort. And what can I say about Hagen beside YUM!!! This Master of Sin, yes that's his nickname and truly fitting, I couldn't get enough of. And yes I would have loved to be in Penny's shoes at anytime during the story. These two were perfect for each other and I love they never fought that connection. The secondary characters were just as intriguing, from the two other Lykaios brothers to Adrian to Penny's friends and family. I look forward to all their stories because Sienna Snow already has me hooked and with Master of Sin just the beginning, I can only imagine how much more sinful this series will get.

Sexy and sinful beginning to what I am assuming will a series.
Persephone or Penny or Starlight, has a lot of hidden secrets. To the world, she is just trying to do what is right by her father's company. She tries not to step out of line or make her evil step-monster upset. But she is really more than meets the eye. She is a fierce businesswoman and not a naive as she lets on.
Hagen is a king of Vegas. He is the Master of Sin, all bad boy and has been known to get his hands dirty. He has also been pining over Penny for a long time. And perhaps the moon has aligned for these two.
There is quite a bit going on in this book. There is some suspense, secrets, and sexual discovery. It was interesting and kept me turning the pages. We also meet a variety of characters. Hagen's brothers are quite the crew. The banter and obvious familiarity seemed true and not forced. And you feel like there will be more to come because these boys need to be wrangled but a worthy someone. This was my first by this author and likely not my last. Her storytelling was super engaging and the story moved well.

Master of Sin is fantastic! The anticipation was absolutely worth the wait! Outstanding from start to finish! The central characters are pragmatic, genuine and multi-faceted. I am absolutely captivated by Persephone, an intelligent, independent, self-disciplined woman with a feisty personality, and Hagen, a billionaire bad boy with a huge capacity to love and the determination to pursue the woman he has always considered "his one". The supporting characters add a depth to the story and provide exciting hints of what is to come in future books in The Gods of Vegas Series. The story-line is realistic, relatable and filled with elements of suspense and intrigue interwoven with romance and steamy sex. The writing is excellent - descriptive, seamless and easy to read. Master of Sin sets the tone for a series that will keep you wanting more. Whether you are new to Sienna Snow or a dedicated fan, this book and this series will have you hooked from the beginning. I highly recommend adding Master of Sin to your library.

Where do I begin with this review...... I loved this book. It had everything I love in a good romance book and to top it off the Heroine is a virgin. I love when the heroine is pure and she loves someone so much he is the one to take her virginity. It is a special thing to give away so with someone special who will love you and cherish you and give you amazing sex yes it sold me on the book.
Penny is educated and well traveled and she has raised her brother so she deserves some happiness in her life so when she meets Hagen she knows he is the one because he makes her heart skip a beat and makes her lower body parts wants everything about this man.
Hagen is literally sex on a sttck and he knows what he wants when he wants it and when he meets Penny he knows he wants her but he must warn her that he does come with a warning. He is dangerous and his world is not for the weary so Penny knows this and she still dives right in and gets her man and boy oh boy the chemistry that comes from them is AMAZING! They are perfect for one another.

Before you start be warned that the heat level of this book is OFF THE CHARTS! I found myself having to drink cold water and take breaks to calm the heat! Hagen and Penny’s chemistry could be felt with every interaction they shared! From the second he is mentioned you can feel the need Penny has for him and him for her! Their attraction is undeniable but for love to bloom their needs to be more and Hagen isn’t sure he can be that more!
What I love about this story is that it isn’t straight erotic romance! There’s a deeper story there and this book is just the begging of a series that I know will continue to blow me away!! I can’t wait to see what Sienna has up her sleeve for these characters!

Thia is my first read from Ms. Snow and its A HIT! I had some expectarions for this read after reading the blurb and The title.
I got this and A LOT more. Characters were so multilayered that I had moments where I was looking my Kindle and thinking HOW those action can be so real! Yet they were and this made this read so so Good.
Plot is complicated as everyone and everything is connected but not at all as you would think about it while reading. Many twists and turns added A lot of pleasure to reading.
Now Time for The Heat! It was on The side where I can say I needed breaks and dates for keeping myself up. Yes - so hot!
Great read for fans of sexy steamy times; complicated characters and plot that was crafted well.

I really enjoyed the story of Penny and Hagen. I was sad when I reached the end though. Sienna did a great job bringing these two to life. You have a bit of mystery with a love story that was in the making years ago for two childhood friends.

Great start to a new series. Penny worked hard to raise her brother and keep her dad’s business running even if that means working with her stepmother. When her stepmother causes more problems, she turns to Hagen for help. The chemistry is steamy between these two, their story has plenty of drama and suspense. I really liked the intensity of their connection. A good read.

This was the start of a series I totally got into reading, you can read them as a stand alone, it's great to follow the rest of the characters in their own stories also. These characters are Penny and Hagen. Hot in the bedroom and out. She is a master chreator of whiskey and he comes from Mafia territory it's fast paced with humour, adoration and love. Recommend reading this.

This story is an instant-love story that feels like a modern-day fairytale retelling. It is a tropie storyline with a 27 yr old virgin and the alpha male in Vegas just felt a little overdone. However I did enjoy the depth of the characters, and the storyline kept me intrigued until the end.

Penny is a complex character with plenty of hidden secrets that she has had to keep undisclosed, to protect her brother as well as the legacy they have inherited. But when the evil stepmother decides to throw her weight around, it sends Penny into the arms and protection of Hagen Lykaios. He is the one man she has loved since she was a little girl. He is also the same man who has a reputation of being the devil himself. Hagen can’t deny his attraction to Penny his starlight. He has been obsessed with her for years and now has the opportunity to finally make her his. Penny is intelligent, extremely independent, and feisty. She can’t deny the dirty talking Hagen but can she give him her heart as well as ask him for help, in uncovering all the truths that hopefully can finally put the right person behind bars? Hagen is shocked to learn all of Penny’s secrets but at the same time, he can’t help but admire her. He also wants to protect her from the dangers that are at play. Will his past from the underground cause more problems for this explosive couple or will he finally have what he has always wanted? The story is filled with suspense, secrets, and sexual discovery. It is a real page turner and the characters are relatable. The author has done a superb job of giving us a book full of angst, climax, and HEA. The secondary characters have left me wanting more. My only negative was that Penny was a 27 old virgin and the timeline was a bit off with regards to age and all that she had accomplished. However, it did not take anything away from the story and I am looking forward to reading more of the series.

I’m not exactly a stranger to Sienna Snow’s books but this one had a different feel to it. It was the perfect mix of tender and hot romance with some suspense. Persephone is currently an heiress to her father’s business but being basically held captive by her terrible stepmother. The only thing keeping her captive is her desire to keep her younger brother safe from the woman who they suspect killed their father. This book is full of passion, hot sex, some tender love and of course some kink. Hagen is one of the notorious Lykaios brothers of Vegas who also happens to be in love with Persephone or Starlight as he calls her. When her stepmothers evil plans come to light and drama explodes she finally takes her chance to be with the man she’s been in love with since she was a teen. Starlight is a brilliant woman not only playin the docile heiress but she secretly has started a highly successful wiskey business that is in high demand. With family tension running on high from both ends shocking things come to light but only make the bond the pair share even stronger. I was a little slow to get into the story but once I got into it I was captured. It’s very well written and full of great emotions and an awesome power couple realizing who they want and what they derserve. I hope to see other books about the other two brothers. What a fantastic read. I was sucked into this very real environment that the author has created. It puts you right where the characters are and it is so believable. Penny has a multitude of layers and Hagen, has as well, but I have to give this one to Penny. She outshines Hagen. I smiled quite a few times when we were shown some of her characteristics. The interactions of the brothers was hilarious and cryptic, can't wait to read about them. The girl team is just as enchanting, and I hope we get more information about them in the next chapters. There are many layers of intricacies in this story and it keeps you glued to your book/e reader to turn each and every page to find out what is going to happen next.
I highly recommend this book and anything written by Ms. Snow.

Masterly written book. Suspense, intrigue, and sex make for a great read. Enter Persephone Starlight and her younger brother, Adrian who have a money grabbing stepmother and mother,Dara,with controlling shares in their late father's company til Adrian turns 21. Adrian is working for the Lykaios brothers, old family ties they grew up with. Neither sibling wants their Father's company, but doesn't want Dara to have it. Penny has a liquor business making Firewater that sells for $100.00 an ounce. Hagen Lykaios wants to get an exclusive contract for his club. This is the story of Starlight and Hagen, the bad boy Lykaios. Expertly written, the ins and outs of their lives and love is Master of Sin. I can't wait for the other books in this series.

WOW! Let me start by saying I love the characters Sienna Snow writes. I got turned on to her books because she doesn’t write the hopeless, broke woman. In Master of Sin Persephone “Penny” Kipos is a strong independent woman with more secrets than the only man she has set her sights on for as long as she can remember. Thankfully Hagan has been lusting after her for as long. Explosive chemistry between the two when they reunite after years of not seeing each other. Penny will continue to surprise you with her background story and her willingness to be under the Master of Sin. So happy that Hagen has two brothers to continue this story with. Please let Pierce and Amelia be next.

What a journey Sienna Snow has taken us on. This book just flowed so easily, it was like watching a movie in my mind as I read the script. The storyline and script were meshed with perfection as we were fed tidbit after tidbit until the pieces could be put together. The characters and sub-characters were perfectly matched and blended in all their flawed glory. Haegan and Starlight were the quintessential couple with their strong personalities and weakness for each other. I just absolutely loved this book and can't wait to read about the other two Lykaios brothers, Pierce and Zacharius, and Starlight's brother Aiden.

When I began reading Master of Sin, I felt I was stepping into a modern day fairy tale – and I loved it. What better than a story with an evil stepmother and her henchmen taking place in the underworld of Las Vegas. But oh the knights in shining armor were something to behold. I loved the storyline and how the author was able to weave her story of Hagen and his Starlight, complete with mystery and sensual romance.

I loved this Book. The Characters are strong sexy and Captivating and the story sucks you in. It has a strong female and Male lead and their charisma is mind blowing. I am already finding myself wishing the next book was out to read. I liked the banter between the characters and it had some surprises for both Hagen and I that I enjoyed. The characters are well flushed out and I feel like I know them. Definitely a sinful book. Worth the read.

I'm sitting here speechless, trying to come up with the words to express how much I love this book and how I can't wait to read the next one. I'm not into spoilers so I will just say, if your looking for a modern day fairytale complete with a sexy as sin alpha male, a strong woman who doesn't need saving, and even a wicked stepmother this is it!
