I adore a good secret baby story. Heartwarming Christmas love story about a secretary and a playboy tycoon. It melted my heart. It was passionate and emotional and romantic. She is loving and sweet, he is tortured and dark. Stavros was so afraid to love but Holly changed his life. They were incredible together. So much angst and passion and such deep love. Also the best grovelling scene I've ever read. I had tears in my eyes. Epilogue with their 3 kids was fantastic! Safe! Heroine is a virgin. B ...more

I love fairy tales and even if Ms. Lucas is repetitive , this one made me cry too.

This is the best book I have read by an author in a long time. I loved everything about this book! First, Holly was an amazing, loving curvy redhead heroine who was easy to relate to. Usually when you read novels with curvy heroines, they have self esteem issues but Jennie Lucas defied the norm and gave us a strong, smart, kind, and confident heroine who loved herself and believed in herself to walk away from Stavros when he rejected her even though he thought he was going to die. I loved how sh ...more

As I have previously reviewed, I love this author...I’ve met this author...this author dedicated a book to me. This one had several things I love in romance novels; a fatal disease (that H survived), an unexpected baby, a h who deserves love and an epilogue! What’s not to love!

Jennie Lucas had a tragic beginning for any would-be writer: a very happy childhood. Her parents owned a bookstore, and she grew up surrounded by books, dreaming about faraway lands. Her mother read aloud to her in French when she was little; when she was ten, her father secretly paid her a dollar for every classic novel (Jane Eyre, War and Peace) that she read. As a chubby teenager, Jennie covere ...more
