With a touch of paranormal interference, a lost love seems to be working to help Perry and Manny find their happy ever after, while hinting that some things may not be as they seem.

Two years after the death of the first woman to hold his heart, Manny meets a woman who fires his desire to love again, but to do so, must he say goodbye the ghost of his first love?

Perry’s social anxiety causes her to isolate herself from everyone, including the man she’s inexplicably drawn to. As desperately as she wants to break free from her self-imposed prison, she can’t overcome her own insecurities.

Manny is determined to prove to Perry she is worthy of love. And just when he thinks he has succeeded, he’s forced to keep a difficult promise that will forever impact their lives.

Can a little divine intervention from Manny’s first love help Perry and Manny find their way to a happily ever after?

Finding Your Way is a very sweet love story, between Perry and Manny. Perry's a writer with serious anxiety issues and Manny, is...well Manny. He's getting over the loss of his girlfriend to heart failure. They were planning to marry.

Perry is the first woman he's felt anything for since her death and that's going on 3 years.

It is an awkward courtship to say the least, but it is absolutely hard not to love Perry. Manny for the most part comes off as a bit too good to be true. He's a little too perfect, doing everything right for Perry, without many missteps. Not that their relationship wasn't without any missteps, because lord knows there were a few.

Then there is the touch of the paranormal in the ghost of Manny's first love Connie. I loved the "real" specter of Connie, helping them along. Her presence at times takes a normal romance and makes it more unique without being too ghosty. (If that makes any sense)

Perry really needs those ghostly visits of Connie's, especially after a plot twist that will have your jaw drop to the floor. Her actions after that made me want to shake her just a little bit. I understand her anxiety. I've suffered with it myself but there were times when I wondered if she were really doing enough for herself and she definitely wasn't letting anyone that cared about her help her along the way. She was in a state of isolated anxiety, which truly couldn't be any help to her physical well being.

Again, all through it, Manny is just super perfect. I would have loved to see a chink in his armor of goodness. They fall in love, and like in all romance novels, I couldn't really find a reason for it, except physical attraction. I really wanted their relationship to feel a bit more "human"

There HEA was sweet and all was well with the super nasty plot twist too. This was definitely an enjoyable read, and very different from your average romance novel.

The feels started on page 1 of this book. I love this series. So many emotional up and downs of happiness to ugly crying (which I believe makes it a great book if the author makes you ugly cry)

Manny is such a wonderful guy! I loved him in Across The Way and was so happy to spend more time with the rest of the group. This book made me feel a wide range of emotiins even bringing tears to my eyes a couple of times.

Perry and her anxiety brought things into a new light. I can't imagine dealing with that on a daily basis, she has more strength than I do.

I would definitely recommend this book and also Across the Way, it's where I first met the group. I have enjoyed all of Mrs. McClung's books and look forward to the next.

This was my first read from Amy, and after reading the blurb I was instantly into the storyline because I could really relate to it on a personal level as someone with severe anxiety. Perry was such a relatable character for me, and I could definitely understand her character better than most. I also really felt for Manny after how his last relationship ended and how he decided to put himself on the line after he finally feels something for another girl. The twists within this book really threw me through a loop because I was not expecting them, but it really added another level to the book and made it that much more enjoyable. Overall, this was a good read that I really related to.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

It’s been two years since Manny lost the only woman he has ever loved and is still trying to move forward with his life. He hasn’t felt a connection to any other woman since then until he meets Perry.

Due to Perry’s social anxiety she is much more comfortable at home than anywhere else. When she does force herself to go out she tries to make the outing as quick as possible and to have minimal interaction with others but when she speaks to Manny he is the first person that doesn’t inspire fear.

This is an emotional story about two people who have isolated themselves from others for very different reasons but in each other they find a kindred soul. It is a story about love, healing and new beginnings.

Emotional and thought provoking

Even though this book deals with grief and social anxiety it is easy to get caught up in this story. Manny is grief stricken to lose his love, Connie. He struggles to go on without her. He feels a push toward Perry. There are some scenes where Connie helps him deal with moving on.

Perry's social anxiety is portrayed with realism and empathy. She has many times where she would like to just run away, but Manny keeps coming back to help her.

I like Manny's friends, Brady, Dawn, Marie and Jayce. They all have their struggles, but they overcome with love and grace. I enjoyed this book. I think you will too

I enjoyed this story. Manny was a sweet, protective, loyal guy and knew how to accept life. He mourned his love but felt that she gave him a push to move on. Perry had her issues but she had the strength to move out of her comfort zone. I loved the two of them together as well as their friends around them, supporting them. I recommend this story.

I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.

What an emotional roller coaster!
Perry is my person, while my anxiety isn't as bad, it's still there. It was described PERFECTLY! I love how Amy brings awareness to the unknown. Anxiety is a bugger and becoming more and more common but it's hard to talk about still.

The friendships in here are just amazing. Overcoming so many struggles!
Highly recommend.

3 Cranky Stars

This author is new to me and I was really excited to read this story. It touches on so many real issues and feelings that it was hard not to relate to many situations.

Manny is a heartbroken bachelor. The love of his life came into his world and vanished just as quick. They were supposed to have forever but Connie got her angel wings way too soon. Now he has her ghost and an ache in his heart until Perry knocks him for a loop.

Perry suffers from social anxiety. Even going to the store causes fear and panic attacks. She makes a point of leaving her house at least once a week regardless of how it makes her feel. On one outing she runs into Manny and flirts with him not understanding how she was able to do it. This chance meeting leads into another where they finally get a chance to meet.

Manny and Perry's story is a journey through healing the body mind and soul. Its absolutely beautiful how the relationship unfolds yet the ending felt really rushed. I feel that thing were missed and left unsaid. I would have loved to see the whole ending. All in all it's a good book with a beautifully heartbreaking backstory.
