Charles J. Babbitt shares his 40 years of birding experience and vast knowledge to show when, where, and how to see many of Arizona's most fascinating, rare, and beautiful birds. With its maps and descriptions, it is the ideal guide for beginning and experienced birders who want to enjoy some of the best birdwatching in Arizona (a state that is a mecca for birdwatchers worldwide).
Conversational, and as such repetitive, but you know? I learned a bunch. Solid primer to figuring out where the heck these bird things might be hiding.
I didn't end up finishing this book because the last chapter was irrelevant to me. However, I enjoyed reading most of it. This, however isn't really much of a guide rather than a book full of random information about birding in information.
