As a huge Siobhan Davis fan and a huge fan of rock star romances, I was eager to dive into Only Ever You. Siobhan Davis has already wowed me with one rock star romance, Incognito, and I was ready to be wowed for a second time.

As with all Siobhan Davis contemporary romances, Only Ever You deals with a lot of heavy topics. It will not be a book for everyone, with there being a rather extensive list of triggers at the start of the story, but those who are able to deal with such things are in for an

This is a hard review to write. Not because it was bad, its the complete opposite actually. It's so full of angst, emotion, and just over all suspenseful turmoil. I found myself not able to stop reading it. even with this book being a longer one, I found myself finishing it in 2 days.

This book follows Zeta and Ryder. It goes through several stages of their lives so you get the full picture and extent of everything going on. Your heart will continue to break as you read while also healing it. So

WHOA! Overload of too much of everything. Unbelievable and yet I kept reading -- it's fiction after all. It's down and dirty from the get-go. There's plenty of rocky road from start to finish. There are major shocks to absorb. The characters are certainly unique and sometimes questionable. There's a triple dose of livin' the "high" life. But there's also the sad and lonely side of an abusive childhood -- even a stint in juvie for both main characters. There's no way you can read this story witho ...more

Rock-Star Romance - you know I am definitely reading. Siobhan Davis writing said rock-star romance, no questions asked, no blurb needed - I am all in!!

Only Ever You is so much more than rock-star romance you are expecting. Yes. we have the arrogant, asshole rock-star singer who left behind his one true love. But their story is so much more than that.

Siobhan is an author who holds nothing back in her writing. She gives you an amazing story line with characters that you empathize with. But it's th

The queen of angst returns with a rockstar romance that will shred you apart. You will swoon, cry, cheer and pray for these characters.

Ryder and Zeta come together as teens, both with dark pasts, secrets and the most difficult of upbringings. They fight everyday to feel safe and protected. Their easy friendship is something they cling to. Each one each other's anchor in the stormiest of seas. They pledge and promise a life together where there is no more pain and peace is the only thing they wi

I haven’t had this much of a book hangover since Inseparable. I must admit I didn’t think any book would come as close to it being the one that can break you down, make you think with all the feels, this one does! It’s my other favorite book! I have two now and both are by Siobhan Davis! That’s no easy feat for any author and in my book reading world it’s next to impossible! It’s true and this book is worthy of every single minute, hours and seconds that everyone takes to read this story. It’s n ...more

Siobhan Davis has just outdone herself! ONLY EVER YOU is proof that even a well-established, and highly talented author with her own signature style can shake things up in the best of ways! More than an angst-filled romance, this one has nailed every emotion and slammed it out of the ballpark of love!

Starting out in the worst of places for young teens caught up in the system, there is a tender and sweet romance budding in the most unlikely of places and I was melting with this “new” Siobhan twis

3.5 Stars

Only Ever You is an emotionally heavy novel about the power of first love, forgiveness, and mental health. Only Ever You follows two teenagers who fall in love in an unlikely setting only to be ripped apart. Eight years later, they’re reintroduced to each other as wholly different people than they were before.

As with all Siobhan Davis novels, Only Ever You tackles a lot of heavy topics. I would make a trigger warning disclaimer, but it would be a paragraph long list of almost every poss

This is a hard one for me to rate, but I've ultimately settled on a low 3 stars.

While I enjoyed the couple and their overall story, my main issue was that I found the matter of the prologue/ Ryder's character arc a little too disturbing and graphic for a romance novel. like I am seriously warning that it was awful and disturbing. I still think about it days after reading it, and not in a good way. It felt gratuitous, and ultimately there for shock factor, which I didn't appreciate. I love "da

The first chapters were a shock. I found the subject matter abhorrent (especially in light of the author's comments at the end of the book) I was expecting a rock star romance and wound up slogging through a section about a jail and a main character that I couldn't bring myself to like. Not a book for me. ...more

This book!!!!! 😍😍😍😍 it’s everything I love to read in one!

I was honestly shocked reading about Swayer!! From “Just the illusion series”. It’s my favorite in the world!! Thank you for adding that in!!! My husband thought I was nuts when I freaked! I read that part three times to make sure I was reading it right. Lol

Ryder and Zeta<—— love the name btw. Ugh I don’t know where to start. This book had me from the beginning and it was rough to read in some spots. I did shed some tears for the pain a

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

I am not sure how Davis does it but I swear this book has all the feels in it. She just has such a way with her words that really draw you into the story letting you feel the full range of emotions that the characters are feeling and she does not hold back from any of the dark stuff in the least little bit. I am amazed every time at how respectfully the full truth of a situation is handled giving us insi

I really enjoyed this one! There were so many emotions, so much angst, and so much lust in this book. Top that off with a bunch of twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat, and I couldn't put it down! What's not to love when you have a sexy, super-hot rock star and a strong, beautiful woman? Ryder and Zeta progress from friends to lovers, breaking each others hearts a few times along the way, but never being able to deny the chemistry between them. Pick this one up today, and you won ...more

Dnf at 26%. I thought this book was about a rockstar with a painful background. I am just over a quarter of the way through and there is no rockstar in sight. Just two kids in “juvie”. One of them involved in a crime so horrific it made me sick and, to me, he is not redeemable.

To that. First time I have ever done that out of hundreds of books. I’m all about the angst, my favorite trope next to cheating, but there has to be something good to keep you interested as well. Oh well, someone had to pop my DNF cherry!
I want to start my review off by saying, THIS BOOK IS PHENOMENAL!! This is to me, the author’s best work up to date. It is obvious she put a lot of work, research and heart into this book.

But, this book affected me quite a bit. I actually had to read it twice, in order to feel like I was in the “right place” to give it a proper review.

When Ryder and Zeta are teenagers in juvie, coming from really bad backgrounds, it’s obvious off and on that Ryder deals with depression, anxiety and panic disor

Siobhan is so good at writing an angsty, new adult story and she does it again with Only Ever You. She takes two people and puts them in the unlikeliest of conditions and weaves a story that pulls right at your heartstrings.

The story begins with a violent crime. The next chapter then begins by meeting the hero, Ryder Stone, living in juvie. You don't discover Ryder's true identity or what he's done to land him in the detention center for most of the book, but you get the feeling you will be refe

Siobhan Davis has the uncommon talent of being able to translate feelings into words so accurately that reading one of her books is like being in her characters skins. This was demonstrated beautifully in her work Only Ever You. The poignant story of Ryder Stone and Zeta Williams' struggle to grasp the happiness that constantly eluded them, personally and together, was an unforgettable epic journey.

In Only Ever You this author introduces soul mates Ryder and Zeta as two teenagers in Juvie. In an

I literally have no idea where to begin with this review! I've literally just finished the book and my emotions everywhere! I absolutely loved this story and it's definitely become one of my favourites!

Ryder and zeta are both so ridiculously strong after everything they had to deal with in their childhoods and I absolutely love the fact that Siobhan Davis focused on male mental health. With the rise of male suicide and the taboo surrounding the subject, I think it's great that she has written a

This romance is full of angst, emotion, mystery, and misery. It's also full of redemption, forgiveness, and plenty of steamy scenes.
I love stories that involve a second chance. There are second chances all over this story. There is the obvious second chance romance, there are kids with bad upbringings getting second chances, there are even parents who missed their kid's childhood getting another chance to be a part of their lives.
There is so much pain and sadness throughout, this story will sure

I don't know how Siobhan Davis does it but once again she has created a story so beautifully written and emotional till the end. We have Ryder and Zeta, two young people feeling in love for the first time. Then we see an adult version of them still in love but life is throwing them curve balls everywhere. From the beginning I was enchanted with the beautiful and patient love between them then seeing them in their own lives was like wow. I do want to state though what haunts R

The emotions this author stirs up in this book is brilliant. She takes very touchy and thought-provoking topics and writes about them with care and grace. Ryder is the guitarist and lead singer for the band Torment. He leads the typical rockstar lifestyle-drinking, drugs and womanizing. He hides who he really is behind this fake façade and the woman he loves.

Zeta knew Ryder was special even as teens he could write music that moved her and when he was her protector in Juvie that sealed the dea

This author is becoming one of my favorite one-click author for myself. I just love her complex angst filled storylines. Oh and BB Kathy A. This one has a cameo of one of our favorite men from Just an Illusion series in it....woohoo. I love when an author does that!!
Zeta and Ryder "shaking my head" what can I say but to say is this.... I loved the love these two had for each other.

Siobhan Davis just knows how to write a book that shatters you, but in the best possible way. The anguish was real in this one. I stayed up until 3am finishing this because I had to know if Ryder and Zeta made it. I'll admit, there were times I thought Zeta should just walk away. That Ryder had done too much to be given another chance. I felt for the guy and understood the demons he was fighting led to poor choices with good intentions. But Zeta had also been through hell and didn't deserve more ...more
