This book was close to perfection, just a few continuity issues that threw it off a bit. Silly things like at one point stating that Mason (whose between two and three years old) kisses Logan on his belly and says "hello, baby". The next line starts "He just stood there... (referring to Logan). How did a 2-3 yo manage to kiss a pregnant omega on his belly while said omega is standing, I mean jees, sizewise it's just impossible. Overall though this was still a fun enjoyable read and I will be rea ...more

This was an okay read, but nothing spectacular. Mason was my fave of the story. He was just too adorable for words. WARNING FOR A SPOILER...
I don't understand how the grandmother donated her house to charity leaving the MC homeless. This was her beloved grandson, and her only family left in the world. He lived with her and took care of her through her illness. They were very broke, and then she wills her house to charity. Where was he supposed to live!!? This plot point really drove me crazy!!

3.5 Stars. I was kindly given a code for the audiobook in exchange of review.
This story was very, very sweet. Like a vat of syrup just rolled over me kind of sweet. We have single dad Thorne struggling to raise his absolutely, adorable son Mason. And devoted omega Logan looking for a job in childcare. Their paths meet and we are met with sweet family moments and bonding. As cutesy as I think everything is I really don't think it was romantic. Thorne and Logan don't have a lot of one on one time

I was gifted the audio file of this book.

This is book three in the Howling Hills series. I have not read or listened to the others, but I would like to, if only to get a better sense of this author, and the way he tells his tales.

Thorne is grieving still, after two years. His wife passed away giving birth to their son, Mason. He’s not looking for anything with anyone, but he needs someone to look after Mason while he works. Losing the blue stuffed elephant bought Logan into Thorne’s world. Log

I'm harsh. I always give out one star when I don't like one thing about a book. But look, it's annoying. I let it go in book 2, but when it happened AGAIN, it's a PROBLEM. It's not a bad book, but each book sets up the next book in the epilogue and when you open the next book and read the's not like the epilogue. In book 1, the Alpha from book 2 got stung in his crotch by a bee. His friends were series about it, "even S???" (the S alpha friend IDK his name. Sean, Seth???). It mak ...more

I really enjoyed this adorable story and enjoyed both Logan and thorne's character. I reccomend reading these in order since Thorne and many other are mentioned in past stories just to help you know the characters better. I've enjoyed this whole series. The book blurb tells the story a lot better than I ever could......or does it?
Wow. Liam Kingsley did it again, I do believe. This was an awesome read in the series Liam has penned. We have two MC's: Thorne, a widower of two years from his fated mate; a small child to raise. Logan: an omega, recently jobless, soon to be homeless after the death of his beloved Nan; silently yearning for a family and a baby of his own. A dropped elephant, named Lovie, at the emergency room puts Logan in Thornes' or

Overall: 4

This is the first book for me by Liam Kingsley but it's the second one narrated by Randi Johnson. Knot the Manny is book 3 in the Howling Hills series but I haven't read the others and I didn't feel lost.

While this was a sweet story about an Omega becoming the caregiver for a widowed Alpha's child there was one thing that really bugged me. [Small spoiler ahead. (view spoiler)

Each book in this series gets better than the last. I thought that Thorne's insecurities about allowing himself to make a commitment to Logan were perfectly portrayed. There wasn't some nebulous fear of losing control, but rather, he was filled with survivor's guilt. Losing his fated mate, Molly, in childbirth to their son, Mason had completely shattered Thorne's world and he had understandable issues with forming a new relationship.

I liked how Logan was heartbroken, but not incapacitated while

Thorne is a grieving widower trying to do his best for his young son.
Logan is having a run of seriously bad luck.
Fate and a lost toy elephant brings these two good men together as both are in need of a little assistance to nudge them in the right direction. This story is heartbreaking, sweet, emotional, and uplifting. It has great characters, an interesting storyline, and is very well written with feeling and depth. There are ups and downs, steamy sexy times, greasy friends, good intentions, a

Thorne was just trying to survive single parenthood raising Mason while still grieving Molly and helping his son to remember his mother. Logan finding and returning Lovie meant the world to both Mason and Thorne. Carol's perceptiveness about Logan was something Thorne had to take into consideration about moving on from Molly. I loved this book, especially the way it dealt with grief from losing loved ones. Thorne is still dealing with the grief of losing his wife 2 years ago during the birth of their son. As luck, or fate, would have it he finds Logan to be his manny for his son. Due to another (loss, this time Logan) Logan moved in with Thorne and little Mason as a live in manny. Logan knows how he feels, not only the love for his son but also Thorne. The problem is Thorne needs to deal with the death of his wife an ...more

There is: wolf shifters, fated mates, friends, an alpha & grieving widower (Thorne), his precocious son (Mason), an omega male with financial issues (Logan), memories, grief, verbal banter, compassion, bereavement,

Oh darn. Three pages in and Thorne had me teary-eyed. He is so freaking adorable. When he describes Logan as "early-morning sunshine, always ready to beam lightness and warmth into the home" I knew he could appreciate him. Thorne is very emotionally intuitive.

Okay yeah, but he is also stupid.  Lol.

I did not appreciate the proverbial punch to the gut and Thorne did make himself miserable, but I do not care. Lol.

The story was well written and the third book in this series, they can be read stand a lone or together to get a big more understanding of the of the characters and back story. Thorne is weighted down with grief and once he meets Logan he's also bearing a huge load of guilt. He broke my heart with his sorrow and his thoughtless actions. He is an incredible father to little Mason. I liked that his friends speak so frankly to him about his grief. Logan is kind, thoughtful and loves with his whole heart.
