Such a fantastic first book from J.A Burton.
It was wonderful to read about a man we’ve heard about, but actually know very little.
I’m a fan of historical fiction and will be happy to wait for what this new author writes next.
So if you want a book so well written you get lost in the pages, this is for you.

An intriguing perspective on the early years of Leonardo da Vinci
The author has produced a compelling and intriguing fictionalized account of Leonardo's childhood and youth, with a surprising twist at the end. The first part of the novel conveys the mixed emotions of a young child, born outside of wedlock and subject to the domineering whims of his father, a powerful notary in Florence.
