Wanda E. Brunstetter is a bestselling author of many Amish fiction novels and a founder of the genre. She has teamed up with her daughter-in-law and granddaughter to bring us a collection of stories centered around the biblical Fruit of the Spirit:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:2223

This is a thoughtful, encouraging collection of eighteen short stories of Amish people living in various states. Each is a standalone story. There are two stories for each fruit of the Spirit that present characters re-learning about the fruit in a gentle, manner. I found each to be compelling even if at times convicting! They are also the perfect length to read during a lunch break or time of devotions and include at least one corresponding scripture.

The families in each story are facing

Superspeed readers like me can read 150 - 200+ pages/hour, so yes, I have read the book and many more today. LOL

I received a temporary digital Advance Reader Copy of this book from #NetGalley, the publisher and the author in exchange for an honest review.

From the publisher, as I do not repeat the contents or story of books in reviews, I let them do it as they do it better than I do 😸.
