I'm not a big fan of novels which contain too much cliched sexual references, but this novel manages to include enough humour and fun to lift the story above the average romance and concentrates on also filling the book with a fun story.

The protagonist is a small town girl working in a high school as a guidance counsellor, so in itself the book has ample opportunity to create fun out of the hell of high school. Her love interest oozes sexuality together with intelligence, so straight away the bo

I decided to take a risk on this story, so far most of the retellings of fairytales have been almost word for word of what we already know with a few added lines or just a minor adjustment or two. I did research this authors prior reviews to see if I should take the risk. I’m so glad I did or I would have missed out on a hilarious story with loads of heat and a vulnerable heart.

Mallory is spunky, insecure, fiercely loyal with such a caring heart mix of fairy and orge. Stefan is a one woman guy,

This is an extraordinarily funny book - it is worth reading for the hot yoga references alone, but the rest of the book is funny and heartwarming and just a fantastic fun read. There are lots of references to fairy tales but it is not your classic ‘retelling’. If there were more than five stars I would give it a six. I thoroughly recommend this story.

A sweetly erotic fairytale romance filled with many recognizable characters from some well loved fairytales. Mallory and Stefan fall in love and everything is going so well, but her insecurities and his hidden secrets bring heartache and an awful tragedy. Can love find its way to fixing this? I was faintly surprised at how much I loved this story.

This is a fun and quirky read with some very steamy scenes. It's a crazy mix of a child's fairy tales and an adult's erotica. The characters are all named after characters you most likely recognize. They have a wide range of personalities. There is an Maleficent (of course, since she is the heroine,) Eric and Ariel, Glenda, Ursula, Cinderella, Rapunzel... ect. As is with most all fairy tales, it's all about love and finding your one true love. This has that, as well as the other aspects you'd fi ...more

Billie Dale has found her calling! These hilarious fairytale retellings are the best ever! I laughed so hard at some of these shenanigans, I also love how she breaks the barriers of the good/evil characters that we've all loved and hated. When you think of the Disney Malnificent you think cold, evil, powerful, heartless. With Not So Wicked we get a different view of her and I love it! Mal is sweet, shy, and has a crazy mom. Her mom is literally batshit. Then you have her best friend, Letty, who ...more

Not So Wicked is a quick fun read. It's a great adult take on some of the fairy tale characters. Mallory is a fun character. She sweet and a little shy. She;s the daughter of an ogre and a fairy and has horns on her head that she hides most of the time. She had me laughing quiet a bit. Stefan is the new guy in town. He's super sexy. Mallory literally bumps into him and there's a connection. Stefan is nice and has a little bit of a bad boy vibe. They are both keeping secrets from each other. Ma

I received a copy of this for a fair and honest review. This gave me a new look at the Disney characters that I know and love. I love Mal and her way of thinking. She does have some issues with her temper and her BFF has to pull her back in. But that does not mean that she can't get all hot and steamy. I find it funny all times she talks about keeping her hair long so she can hide her horns. I think this is a sexy version of a fairytale that all adults need to read. I loved this. Mallory is the offspring of a fairy godmother and an ogre. She is a guidance counselor at the local high school. Stefan is the new history teacher. He is enchanted by her and pursues her.

A sexy and fun twist on a fairytale world. Mallory’s best friend is Ursellette and is a great comic relief. Off the charts chemistry and a curse add to the story. Mallory is vulnerable yet is a strong character. Stefan is hot and alpha yet sweet. Super enjoyable, fun read!

This was such a fun read and I just loved it. I liked the mix between fun and sexy I like a good adult fairy tale and this was definitely a new take on that I don't think I will ever look at Disney characters the same way again. This is a really good book and I am looking forward to reading more from Dillie.

This is a fantastical fairytale retelling.
Mally F’cent is a shy a and retiring high school guidance counsellor working and living in a make believe town where all our most favourite fairytale charachters have everyday mundane jobs.

After literally bumping into the sexy new history teacher, Stefan Knight.. Malloy makes a gamble with her heart and embarks in a relationship with him.

Oh my what a fantastic story. This is my first book by Billie Dale and call me impressed. The writing is amazing with the flow of the story beautifully written. I loved Mal and Stefan together. They have this super hot chemistry with extremely beautifully realistic relationship. At times this story had me laughing and at times I felt sorry for our beloved characters. I love the twists on the fairy tales and this one was fabulous. We have modern day fairytale characters with twists that just draw ...more

Not So Wicked is the first book I’ve read by Billie Dale so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew going in it was going to be a romantic comedy. What I got was a lot of slap humour and “stupid funny”.

It definitely made me laugh but even the character names were just too ridiculous for my liking. All the characters in the book are based off of Disney characters. The heroine is named Mallory F’Cent (Maleficent) and her best friend is Ursulette. The hero’s identity keeps you guessing as to why he i

Once I read the first book in this author's fairy tale retelling I knew I needed more after Snow. And she delivered with Mallory. Mallory F'Cent (by the way love how she did her name) is always horny lol not that kind she has two horns protruding from her head and she can't hide them no matter what. But alas with a feisty fairy godmother as a mom and an ogre with horrible impulse control Mallory is what you get . But she is so much more than she thinks she is. When secrets are revealed she goes ...more

I really enjoyed this retelling of a fairytale. It was so different I loved it! This was a really fun and exciting read. I loved the use of erotica in characters we love from our childhood. Usually a retelling of a fairytale is so predictable. This was hilarious and sexy.  Mallory is insecure about her horns and tried to stay invisible but that is until Stefan sees her. Mallory and Stefan are just adorable. They have such amazing chemistry. I loved her best friend Ursulette (letty). She is a muc ...more

This was a great book! I liked both of the main characters, and the fairytale town! The only thing that annoyed me was Mal's mom, who was very nutty and just generally a bit too weird for me. 4 star story. I will be reading more by this author.

Wow, just Wow, can’t say enough about this book. I think this is the best fantasy book I have read. I have laughed so hard that I cried and my husband would just shake his head at me. This is a must read book, it will just Brighten your day. We have allot of our Disney characters remade and you will love the main characters. I received an arc copy for my honest review.

Fun and hot!!!

If you think Maleficent is wicked, then I would suggest reading this story to give you enlightenment! While this fairytale is not suitable for children, it can still be read as a bedtime story, but for different purpose than to make children sleep. Because, that is one sexy hot fairytale that I would love to read over and over again.

Imaginative use of a variety of fairytale characters with slightly tweaked names, this story had humor and heat to enhance the romance. Besties Ursulette(Letty) and heroine Mally F'Cent are a fun pair, but Mally's fairy godmother mom Glenda is a bit loopy and overbearing: a real hoot. The author keeps the action moving at a good pace and throws some misunderstandings, secrets a

Not to my liking

It’s well written if we’re discussing grammar and spelling, I’ll give you that. Pity the bratty, crude, and tasteless comments from characters made them waste what potential charm they could evoke. Skipped through more than half the book. Sad it was the women’s characters represented in the worst way.

This book was wicked! I loved it and I loved that I found a new author to stalk! It can be hard to read some paranormal/fairytale type books if the words don't flow right, but this author definitely knows what she's doing and I was fully entertained throughout this book. Really, I was cracking up during most of this book. I mean come on...Mal's mom, though a little overbearing at times, was freakin hilarious. Her first time meeting Stefan, I was cringing and laughing so hard. Ouch! Poor guy! And ...more

Billie grew up and lives somewhere in Indiana, in the smallest of small towns that is not even worth mentioning.  She has 4 children, two dogs, a cat and a husband that deals with a house full of females.   Two of her babies don’t live with her, her sons. The oldest is grown and out on his own, giving her a perfectly wonderful granddaughter with a head full of fiery red hair and the other lives in ...more
