I really enjoyed this book. It had information I've read in other books but it also had new info that I wasn't aware of. This is from someone who turned their life (age clock) around, so just knowing we do have more control than we realize was lovely to find out.
This is a 9 hour audio book. It's packed with information. All the scientific references are on the authors website (on the Blog section), so is other helpful information. This was read by the author, very clear and the information is concise. You might want to purchase the hard book instead to use as reference as there is a program to follow at the end.
This book was a pleasant surprise! It’s a shame the folks behind this book didn’t give it a better title. While some of the suggestions are aimed toward looking, feeling and even having tests show that you are younger than you are, there is a lot of useful information in this book for anyone regardless of their age.
The author, Janyey Goddard, had serious health issues and found that changing many of her lifestyle habits, changed her health completely. The book offers a goldmine of things to do to improve your life from a whole-foods diet to facial exercises to look younger. There is information for every stage of life. Goddard has also set up a website where you can continue to find ideas.
There are definitely lots of ideas in here worth trying.
Really good book, packed with information. The author clearly has done a lot of research. There was lots in the book that I'm already aware of due to my own research, as well as practices I adhere to. I listened as an audiobook, it's worth also buying in paperback for reference.
I appreciate the time and effort the author put into writing "Rewind Your Body Clock," but there is absolutely nothing new in the book. It should have been a magazine article.
There are some excellent points of connection here, ideals and insights that the reader can grab onto and weave into their daily wellness regimen. The author impressed multiple times with the ability to steer clear of exhausting cliché and bring us to stepping stones of true uniqueness. Worthy of a place on your bookshelf if you are a seeker or healer. If you can sort through the Day 1, Day 2, etc. format -- if that is not your style -- you'll find plenty of gems shining between the repetition.
