I'm enjoying this new light paranormal romance series by Christine Pope. Normally I do not enjoy the subject of demons, but the author handles it without resorting to gore and horror and gives the topic (in my opinion) just the right seasoning of spookiness. I've found the story line of these books to be unpredictable and fun. I'm kept anticipating the next development in the story. I also really enjoy the characters in the book. On the negative side, I prefer my romances to be free of bedroom s ...more

Audrey & Michael are back and the Demons just keep coming!

Whilst en route to the next filming location Audrey is abducted by a certain spirit that's a lot more corporeal than first thought!

Michael and the rest of the crew are in Tucson tbut when Audrey fails to show Michael realises that something untoward has happened and calls in some pyshic back-up!

Audrey's skills are expanding and she kind of half saves herself! She and Michael are reaching an understanding over the bombshell of his past and

Book two in the Project Demon Hunters Series picks up exactly where book one left off.  Michael is waiting for Audrey at their next filming location, but she never shows up! It turns out that she's been kidnapped by a demon who wants revenge for some events in book one (no spoilers here my friends).  While Michael races to save her, Audrey learns a few things about herself and that she isn't a complete damsel in distress. This one is a little harder to go into detail with just because I don't wa ...more

And the story continues in Christine Pope’s “Unbound Spirits” the next book in her series Project Demon Hunters #2. We find Michael Covenant waiting for Audrey Barrett’s arrival in Tucson Arizona to film the second episode of Project Demon Hunters. But Audrey never arrives and can’t be found at the airport or anywhere else. What entails is a fast pace story of two amazing and strong-willed people fighting against an evil demon like no other. Their strength and sense of right and wrong makes it e ...more

Recommends it for: readers of Unquiet Souls

This Book starts immediately after "Unquiet Souls" at the site of the second episode of the TV series "Project Demon Hunters", the "haunted" B&B in Tucson. We're off to a frightening start as Audrey is abducted by an evil "thing" occupying Jeffrey Whitcomb's form. Rosemary comes to Tucson to help Michael find and rescue Audrey. There are some tense and suspenseful moments during the rescue mission. Then back in Tucson, the demons are successfully banished from the B&B after a brief battle. Retur ...more

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Unbound Spirits by Christine Pope is Book 2 in the Project Demon Hunters series. If you haven't begun reading this series, you are missing out! I love that Book Two begins right where Book One left you. Audrey, Michael and the crew go through another nail biting, gasp inducing trial. While Unquiet Souls had me turning on lights and turning off my Kindle (kind of creeped out, LOL!), I found myself jumping a lot and had my heart racing with Unbound Spirits. And once a ...more

Can Audrey and Michael team up with the Winchester brothers? Unbound Spirits is the sequel to Unquiet Souls. The story picks up immediately after the end of the first one and we are on another adventure. Audrey and Michael get caught up in more danger as they deal with the aftermath of their last ghostly encounter. Action packed with drama and romance, this is a good read.

This isn’t my cup of tea in terms of Pope’s work and genre, but it is a wonderful story. I recommend this to anyone who is a

This is book 2 in the Demon Hunters series and it was a great addition. The story line picks up immediately after Unquiet Souls and is a does a good job of blending the demon hunting with the mundane. The progression of Michael and Audrey’s relationship is well written and believable. I liked how well Christine Pope shows the growth of both main characters and her secondary characters are also fairly well thought out and not just after thoughts….I really wanted to throat punch Colin…he is such ...more

This book was so freaking scary that I had to read it during the day! It is the second book in the series and you definitely need to read the previous one ! The relationship between Audrey and Michael has evolved into something deeper. And the demon hunting scenes are so well written. I can't wait to read the next book. ...more
