All I could think of when I finished reading Chasing the Renegade was that these two never had a chance not ‘connecting’! From the very start, Jasper Bailey slips back into town the day of his brother’s wedding and runs into Treya Smythe. The attraction is immediate, on both sides, however one IS a Bailey and one IS a Smythe…and one isn’t quite upfront about whom they really are and the other isn’t truthful about what they truly want. Of course, chaos ensues but underneath it all is a wonderfull ...more

This is the second book in the Renegade series and is also set in the small town of Bailey, Montana. The townspeople still live by the guidelines of an age old feud, dividing the town into Baileys and Smythes. Each family can eat in selected restaurants, shop in certain stores or live in certain areas of town that are not open to the other family. Jasper Bailey has just arrived in town, after six years away, to attend the wedding of his older brother, who is going against the dictates of the feu ...more

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

This was a charming story. I was able to read it in one sitting. The characters were enjoyable and the plot was good. In Bailey, MT there is a feud between the Baileys and the Smythes. Apparently the Bailey men are cursed with losing their spouse through abandonment or death. The Smythe women are considered nothing but money-grubbing women. Jasper Bailey comes back home for his brother's wedding to Treya Smythe's cous

Jasper Bailey returns home after six years for the wedding of his brother, Titus to a Smythe, Abby (Running from the Renegade), proving that the feud is still in place the wedding takes place outside on neutral ground. Having been away so long he's mistakenly put on the Smythe side, next to Treya, who is very anxious to leave Bailey but fearful of going alone. Little does she know but Jasper is home to settle down and not leave, and is thinking of a fling not a permanent relationship.

This one is one of Bonnie Paulson's best. Even though Titus and Abby are married, the feud continued. The town of Bailey, Montana was divided because of a feud that had gone on for too many years. Jasper, Titus' brother has just returned to town and everyone did not recognize him. He sees Treya and decides she would be good for a fling. He didn't tell her he was a Bailey. Then she discovered he hadn't been honest and she was deeply hurt. Abby Smythe had married a Bailey, maybe she could too. She ...more

They were the greatest mistake that could ever be made. So how come their feelings are a perfect fit for love? Chasing the Renegade is a comedy of errors with a dramatic twist. Feuding families, instant attraction, mistaken identities and hard to resist romance. The Smythe and Bailey clans are in for a rude awakening when it comes to matters of the heart. Can the girl with big city dreams give her heart to a cowboy? With the odds stacked against them, can Jasper and Treya's romance survive the d ...more

Dreams And Comfy Cowboy Boots!

This is a nice, sweet and quick tale continuing the Smythe and Bailey saga. Jasper and Treya are good together but I was sad that more wasn't made of the feud and how this was being challenged by what Titus and Abby discovered in book 1. Overall a good story but I'm not quite as in love with these two families yet as I have been with Bonnie's previous cowboy series.

Chasing the Renegade is a sweet, clean romance. Treya, who just wants to leave town, and Jasper, who wants to come home, are both hiding things. Treya does not know Jasper is a Bailey. They each have their reasons for dating secretly. Bailey Montana is divided by a 100 year old feud. With well drawn characters and an interesting plot, you will have to read to see if when secrets are revealed, will these two be able to help forget the feud.

Another great book in the Renegades of Clearwater County Series! Jasper heads back home to Bailey, Montana, just in time for his brother’s wedding to a Smythe. A woman from the family they have been feuding with for over a century. Little does he know that he will meet Treya, the woman of his dreams, at that wedding. But can another Bailey marry a Smythe and survive?? Don’t miss this sweet love story by Bonnie Paulson!

Love and Betrayal

Returning for his brother's wedding, Jasper isn't recognized and is sat on the bride's side. He is completely taken with Treya Smythe and they agree to date in secret. Treya has no idea Jasper is a Bailey. When that secret is revealed will she choose her family or the main she has come to love~

A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. A feud in a small town where everyone knows all about your life but have your back if needed. This was about Jasper returning to his hometown after being away for so long and how he falls for Treya. A standalone read but you don't need to read the first book to follow along here in book two.

Sweet and cute, this is a nice cheering read. Some things in Bailey still haven't changed, but we get to meet some characters who are less close minded, and a great way of showing that the grass isn't Always greener, and that dreams aren't static. Love this series.

Enjoyed reading this book! A lawman came into town looking for a rustler not knowing that the girl he met was the rustler's sister. After all the misunderstandings were worked out, everyone was happy. I recommend this book to anyone who likes western romance!
