Guys. This book is WONDERFUL. I love every character, every word. I don’t want to give anything away except to say that this world is one I hated leaving.

Get ready. !!!!!!

This book is fabulously written! If you love a good YA adventure/fantasy, you’ll love this. I literally stayed up all night to finish it. At the end, all I could say was, “it’s PERFECT! And when does the next one come out?!?”

This book reminds me of the ocean it's written about. The beginning was like stepping into it. The waves knock into your legs and you have no idea what to expect. The further you go in the deeper it goes. Everytime I thought I had something figured out I was hit with a wave of a scene I didn't expect. You get deep in the middle and it was like swimming underwater. It looks calm and beautiful but there is still so much life and beauty going on all around you. Get to the end and you're on top of ...more

I didn’t want this to end! I was drawn in from the very first page and now that I’ve read the last I’m breathless and only wanting more. This world was so rich and fascinating and beautiful. I loved Fable, West and the whole crew. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars because it was freaking fantastic.

Now I’m crying and all in my feels.

Thanks Goodreads and St. Martin’s Press / Wednesday Books for this ARC. It was an absolute joy to read and review this treasure of a story.

I received an ARC through a Goodreads giveaway.

She's done it again.
Her writing has such a way of connecting you to nature and the soul of the world she's carried you away to.
Adrienne Young gently tugs you along into a bold new world, and before you can blink you've fallen in love with the richness of a cut-throat world and the depth of each character you meet. And then before you know it, she leaves you at the edge of a cliff to wallow, as you stare off to sea, waiting for Namesake.

I was given this book in a Goodreads giveaway in exchange for an honest review. And here’s where it’s going to get a little different...
I have been devouring this book in every spare second for days. It keeps me awake at night (I know, I should just get up and finish it, but sleep HAS to happen). I dream about it. I’ve recommended it to all my high school classes and have been super excited that a second book was coming. And here’s where I get upset! I just noticed THIS book doesn’t come out

I received an uncorrected bound manuscript of Fable from Goodreads and St. Martin’s Press (Wednesday Books) in exchange for an honest review.

Oh. My. GOSH!!!
This book. I went into the book completely blind. I haven’t read any of the author’s other books (yet) and the brief synopsis doesn’t give much information. However, I can honestly say that this book swept me off my feet! From the first line until the last line, I was HOOKED. I think that Adrienne Young must have been a ship captain or pirate

I adore Adrienne Young's writing, and it is incredible to see her growth as a storyteller in each book. I was lucky enough to win a proof of Fable through a Goodreads giveaway and I devoured the story in less than a day.

Her world building is unique and pulls you in deep enough that you can feel the chill water as Fable dives beneath the waves. But more than a fantastic new world to explore, Young has crafted characters and conflict felt acutely by any reader. The mystery of Fable's individual

I loved Fable, both the book and the character. Her fierce determination against the odds made the entire book exciting to read. Towards the end of the book, I was eagerly devouring every page only to have it end in a cliffhanger. If the entire series were out, I'd just move along to the next book. This ending encourages you to do just that. Unfortunately having read an ARC, I won't have the chance to do so. Hopefully, readers won't have too long to wait for the following books in the series.

I received this as a Goodreads giveaway winner. This is a great book for those who like seafaring style fantasy adventures. It’s an interesting new fantasy with an original premise. I thought it moved along in the story decently and is not boring. Kept me engaged throughout the book and I am looking forward to the next installment.

I won this in a Goodreads Giveaway. I wanted to like this one. The blurb sounded awesome, and the action was decent, but there was ultimately no drive. The characters were flat. The action was flat, and there wasn't any motivation for any of the characters. I kept hoping it would get better, but it reads like a made for tv movie than an actually well thought out story.

This book is an amazing story of adventure and it will leave you aching to hear more of Fable’s story. It is gritty and harsh and once I opened it I couldn’t even imagine putting it down for even a minute. I can’t remember the last time I was so enthralled and captivated by a character.
