I received this book in exchange for a review. Thank you!
This novel was an enjoyable read, especially if you enjoy the supernatural, where there is magic, witches, warlocks, werewolves, physics, demons, vampires, and ogres oh my! The story is novel from Sadie's point of view, would believed she was a dud, a person with no magical abilities. However, her bff Jo knows more about Sadie's destiny than she lets on. When Sadie turns 18, her powers come in full swing. This leaves her confused and has t

LOVED IT! ~Spoilers

I liked this book a lot. There were a couple of times I almost lost interest but definitely made a come back and finished well. I don't like Jason Momoa (sorry, I know its crazy but ever since I saw a youtube video of him grabbing some underage girls boob he grosses me out), so when you compared the lead to him it was hard to get past, but that's just me. However, I loved, absolutely LOVED the female characters, including Jo. In the end, I got around the Momoa thing. I would h

The Werewolf Queen is the first spellbinding instalment in the Wheel of Crowns Series by Brandi Elledge. WOW!!! What an amazing story!!! I was completely riveted from the very first page, so completely absorbed by the story, that I lost all sense of time and place. The ‘real’ world ceased to exist as I fell deeper and deeper under Ms. Elledge’s spell. This is one of those books that deserves to be read- it’s so fascinating, engrossing, and entirely unforgettable. Ms. Elledge is a new-to-m

I thought the actual premise for this book was phenomenal. It had everything I want out of a book. A wide variety of characters, a plethora of supernatural beings, a sassy and savvy BFF, a forbidden romance -- but I can't rate this book higher than a 2-star for a few reasons.

The first reason is pacing. I felt like we were being thrown from one climax to another without having time to digest what we'd just been through. It made it hard to keep up at times, because the actual flow of the story wa

The story The Werewolf Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 1) by Brandi Elledge is a wonderful fantasy book that I loved reading. It is a story that pulls you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let you go until you have read the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Sadie and Jo. Sadie is a young girl who doesn’t have supernatural powers. She stands out from those in the town she lives in. Then things begin to
The Werewolf Queen (Wheel of Crowns #1) by Brandi Elledge was interesting, unique and original, it kept my attention and turning the pages.

Okay I'm going to be real with you, this book is different, good different from a plot stand point. It fresh and very intriguing. The wording building is detail and the authors paints a wonderful picture, making you feel connected and there. Now here were I'm going to have to get a little, not so nice.... This is the first book that I have read from this author and I loved it. There were vampires, witches, demons and werewolves. There were mind-readers, healers and psychics. There were hot sexy men and a kick ass female lead, what’s not to love?

Sadie grew up in a town full of witches. Everyone had powers except her. On her 18 th birthday, everything changed. She came into her powers and all of a sudden, demons are trying to kil

The Werewolf Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 1), by Brandi Elledge, is a romantic fantasy novel. This novel/series by Brandi Elledge was exquisite. An amazing cast of characters set the stage for this amazing story. Sadie was a strong character, from her personality to her friendships to her sense of right & wrong. 5 Stars!!!!!

I absolutely love finding new book series and authors. I was not disappointed by this book. I really found the author's writing style to be quite refreshing and entertaining. The characters just really seem to jump off the pages and come to life.

I found myself really drawn to Sadie. The way that fate plays a part in her life really just makes the reader rout for her. I was really drawn to the chemistry between her and CG.

Love this new world of paranormals!

Characters with enough depth that you care what happens to them, a kick ass heroine, and a really sweet troll. What more could you ask for?

I was so happy after reading this book that I thought it deserved a real review instead of a half ass one that I do sometimes to remind myself later on why or why not I didn't like a

This new age supernatural story flows from the very first page until the very last. It's a story that has humor, self-actualization, great world building, The story has Witches, Mind Readers & Healers, demons, ghouls, vampires and were-creatures, a cute troll, cute boys and all that comes in between.

The story is well plotted and while some of the dialogue is a little (I hate to use the word annoying) teenage girl-ish hehe. The female protagonist is "different" than the others and must at a d

With this book I found that it drew me in almost immediately. I think one of the main things that drew me in was the comical relationship between Sadie and Jo, they had me crying with laughter on more than one occassion. For example, righ toff the bat you have Jo kicking Sadie to make sure she is listening in class and then later on leaving her a note in their shared home saying shes ran away to delay the onclaught of questions that Sadie would likely ombard her with. Once again though no matter ...more

This book has an amazing cover that screams look at me! Sandie and Cameron make an awesome team in this young adult fantasy. A vampire, werewolves, demons, witch, seers, and fae, make this book full of characters for everyone. A really good cast of characters, and a story that interesting and fluid. I read this book in one sitting just keep turning pages finding more and more reason to keep reading. A girl with powers that haven’t shown in a town where everyone knows everything about you. The Werewolf Queen- Wheel of Crowns Series Book 1
By Brandi Elledge

The Werewolf Queen is an incredible paranormal story that I highly enjoyed from the very beginning until the very end. Brandi wrote with so much detail that I could easily picture everything playing out in my mind and I was able to feel so invested and connected with these characters.

This storyline flowed so seamlessly, and I loved the originality of it. It was action-packed, intense, addicting, romantic and just pure perfe

Not quite put together

The storyline was different and interesting. The cover was great but once the action started the dialogues became disjointed. The jokes , self mockery, and childish dialogues just made me cringe a few time. The southern twang and jokes just didn't work. I think if the story concentrated on normal language dialogue and less forceful humorous speaking the writing would have been better. The mc was immature and I couldn't connect with the characters.

I felt cheated for paying

This was quite a ride.

Werewolves and vampires and witches and demons, oh my!

I often enjoy immersing myself in a book that throws you into the fray from the get-go and doesn't let up until the final page. Brandi Elledge's debut novel did just that for me. Sadie was a great character, and it was very easy to root for her against all the forces aligned against her.

There were a few times when I lost the story, as my poor brain couldn't keep up with the blistering pace. However, by the end, I was ba

Oh yeah this is going to be good. I really liked how this book went. I was actually hype at the end. Sadie has no magic in her and that makes her an outcast. I felt for her through the story because no one should be treated the way they treated her. But then you get to see all their mouths drop when Sadie turns out to be more than anyone thought. It sucks that she has to be powerful for people to accept her. I really like ho

Wheel of Crowns is a three book series and The Werewolf Queen is the first book. Brandi Elledge is an amazing author who has a wild and vivid imagination. Her attention to detail is what keeps me wanting more. The characters are so real that I felt like I was best friends with them. Sadie is the main female character and I felt like I knew her like a BFF. Sadie thought she did not have paranormal powers like her friend do. Until she was eighteen and here comes her powers. What will Sadie do with ...more

I enjoyed this book from cover to cover. It is creative and engaging. It is about a young woman, Sadie. All of her friends have their super power but she doesn’t at least until she turns 18. From that point on life takes on a different meaning for her. She goes on a journey of someone wanting to kill her to trying to find a lost key. There is alot going on in this story but I enjoyed her sassy, feisty character along with the others. I didn’t regret picking up this book and neither will you

I loved the premise...

I loved the premise, it drew me in from page one. I can't wait to read the next book. I loved all of the characters. There was quite a bit of sass, which I loved and kept me laughing. Definitely worth reading.

I wanted to love it ... I like the story line but I couldn't connect with the characters and the dialogue is stilted. It has so much potential but just didn't quite work for me. I'm from the south myself, Savannah actually and hated the portrayal of a southerner in this book.
