I received this book in exchange for a review. Thank you!
This novel was an enjoyable read, especially if you enjoy the supernatural, where there is magic, witches, warlocks, werewolves, physics, demons, vampires, and ogres oh my! The story is novel from Sadie's point of view, would believed she was a dud, a person with no magical abilities. However, her bff Jo knows more about Sadie's destiny than she lets on. When Sadie turns 18, her powers come in full swing. This leaves her confused and has t

I thought the actual premise for this book was phenomenal. It had everything I want out of a book. A wide variety of characters, a plethora of supernatural beings, a sassy and savvy BFF, a forbidden romance -- but I can't rate this book higher than a 2-star for a few reasons.

The first reason is pacing. I felt like we were being thrown from one climax to another without having time to digest what we'd just been through. It made it hard to keep up at times, because the actual flow of the story wa

LOVED IT! ~Spoilers

I liked this book a lot. There were a couple of times I almost lost interest but definitely made a come back and finished well. I don't like Jason Momoa (sorry, I know its crazy but ever since I saw a youtube video of him grabbing some underage girls boob he grosses me out), so when you compared the lead to him it was hard to get past, but that's just me. However, I loved, absolutely LOVED the female characters, including Jo. In the end, I got around the Momoa thing. I would h

“Um, Lil? Are you convulsing?” “What kind of small ass town are you from? Girl, this is called twerkin’.” Her butt started vibrating faster, and her wings were flapping with the rhythm. She looked over her shoulder. “Sometimes, you got to look back at it.” What the hell was she talking about?

I was so happy after reading this book that I thought it deserved a real review instead of a half ass one that I do sometimes to remind myself later on why or why not I didn't like

This is the first book that I have read from this author and I loved it. There were vampires, witches, demons and werewolves. There were mind-readers, healers and psychics. There were hot sexy men and a kick ass female lead, what’s not to love?

Sadie grew up in a town full of witches. Everyone had powers except her. On her 18 th birthday, everything changed. She came into her powers and all of a sudden, demons are trying to k

5 Stars!!!!!

I absolutely love finding new book series and authors. I was not disappointed by this book. I really found the author's writing style to be quite refreshing and entertaining. The characters just really seem to jump off the pages and come to life.

I found myself really drawn to Sadie. The way that fate plays a part in her life really just makes the reader rout for her. I was really drawn to the chemistry between her and CG.

The story The Werewolf Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 1) by Brandi Elledge is a wonderful fantasy book that I loved reading. It is a story that pulls you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let you go until you have read the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Sadie and Jo. Sadie is a young girl who doesn’t have supernatural powers. She stands out from those in the town she lives in. Then things begin to

Love this new world of paranormals!

Characters with enough depth that you care what happens to them, a kick ass heroine, and a really sweet troll. What more could you ask for?

This new age supernatural story flows from the very first page until the very last. It's a story that has humor, self-actualization, great world building, The story has Witches, Mind Readers & Healers, demons, ghouls, vampires and were-creatures, a cute troll, cute boys and all that comes in between.

The story is well plotted and while some of the dialogue is a little (I hate to use the word annoying) teenage girl-ish hehe. The female protagonist is "different" than the others and must at a diffe

Sadie grew up in a supernatural community without any powers, sure others around her have great powers like her bestie Jo (seer). She knew that Jo was hiding something from her, she just wasn’t sure what it was. Until her birthday when she went from having no powers to being powerful enough to attract attention from some heavy hitters. Hunted by the Demon king, she is on the run with Camden (werewolf king) and Stephen (vampire prince). They are tasked with finding one of the lost seven keys. As ...more

Good Start

I really enjoyed this book. I am guessing since there are 7 keys, we have a long way to go. I have the first four books and the fifth on preorder based on this book, so I am taking a real leap of faith.
Sadie is a young girl who thinks she has no power, but turns out she is a bottomless pit of powers, which have been kept in check until she is 18 and the time is right. Her friend Jo is aware of all of this as she can see the future, but isn't allowed to tell Sadie.

The Werewolf Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 1) by Brandi Elledge is a great supernatural paranormal fantasy story that kept me so engrossed and immersed in her carefully woven world. The story is so magical it had me on the edge of my seat through to the end. Brandi has very cleverly written something that completely throws you off track just when you think you have got it worked out. The suspense will keep you on alert and intrigued without letting go. This is a brilliant start to the series that ...more

I give The Werewolf Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 1) by Brandi Elledge, 4 stars.

Sadie is a high school senior living in a community of witches. The only thing is, she's a null -- no powers at all. Then all of the sudden strangers show up in her town and weird things start happening. People are suddenly out to get her, telling her how powerful she really is. Crazy things start happening, a man who claims he is a werewolf is so hot he's to die for, and she learns things are not really as it seems. C

What an incredible start to what I can only imagine being an incredible suspenseful, fantasy, magical, romantic and sexy read.

I absolutely loved this read from start to finish, it was creative, engaging, thrilling and a story I thoroughly enjoyed. I loved the characters each of them held their own and their stories were told and I enjoyed following their journey in this read. Sadie was a brilliant sassy, feisty, independent woman who knows what she wants. CG was not what you expected as a king,

THE WEREWOLF QUEEN follows Sadie who comes from a long line of witches, but believes she's a fluke. Until she develops the ability to siphon other supernaturals and their powers. This makes her both a weapon and a target. She meets Camden, the werewolf king, and is forced to go with him when her hometown is attacked by demons.

At his place, she learns about her purpose and the keys that can open the portals to release the supernatural beings who've been locked up due to their dangerous tendencies

A good read

Told from Sadies POV, who believes she is a dud but really hasn't yet come into her powers. She meets her mate Camden whilst he's on a mission looking for her who is a key player in the wars to come and can help him find the keys to portals. He refuses to claim her as his mate due to his past but can't stop the mate bond feelings and protectiveness from occuring. He struggles with his emotions and past so feels he can't love a mate. There are holes in the story which the other books m

DNF - too many things I diskliked

Too many items I disliked. Writing is fine, but the seer jo her friend is very annoying. She acts like a know it all because she saw the future and basically goes ha ha ha I know something you don’t.

Also the power she receives is not the best power ever. She basically steals powers from others while a power that should be used with caution. She is like a kid in the candy store.

Also the vampire and werewolves that show up to her party, why wouldn’t her father kick
