Ha! I knew that would pique your interest and yep, it's just as hot as it sounds...

Trevor Sanchez, former medic of the Metahuman Defense Force's Alpha Team, thought he more or less retired into civilian life by attending medical school to become an emergency room trauma surgeon, when the past comes knocking - or rather shooting - at school's doorstep in form of a terrorist cell long thought to be obliterated. Smack bang caught in the middle of

Hailey Turner's Metahuman Files series are my drug of choice when it comes to Sci-Fi based paranormal romance and I am soooo glad she's not finished with this series completely.

The second in the Classified spin-off focuses in on Bones, Alpha Team's medic Trevor Sanchez and it's a doozy - full of action, hot men and sweet romance in so few pages - that there is a gift people :)

This isn't a standalone as such, but you could read it if you've never touched In the Wreckage or the rest of the

I loved this series and all the extra novellas are just the icing on the cake!

So yeah to Trevor Sanchez, the medic of the Metahumans Team, building a future and finding love after leaving the MDF (Metahuman Defense Force). But this wouldn't be Hailey Turner, if there wasn't just a bit of action involved, too!

A bit of heat, a bit of action and some feels and as for telekinetic sex ...
Yes, please! I could have done with a bigger helping here!

It was such a pleasure meeting all the team members

This is a new, fresh story that connects to the Metahuman Files series, the marvelous M/M Urban fantasy I have loved.
We get to see the team members for a smaller mission, and it's fantastic.

Here, Trevor/Bones, a Recon Marine with MDF,

Metahuman Defense Force member, has the power of telekinesis,
is in school to be an ER Trauma Surgeon.
Brandon, 28, Paramedic is caught in a domestic violence call that turns deadly.

Sitting in class, Trevor sees
This is a great short story. Trevor Sanchez was a member of Team Alpha in the main books but at the end of the last one he decided to go back to school to study medicine and become a doctor. He was always kinda in the periphery in the main books - there but never the focus, so this was a nice treat to get some focus on him.

The terrorist attack by the Sons of Adam in the 5th and final book happened in April of that year, and it is now September and Trevor has been in medical school for a few
Great little novella with Trevor and the gang. I just wish it were longer

This novella was adorable. It was more like a “damsel in distress” of which is not my thing , as I love alpha alpha love. Yet and still, I still liked this read . I am hoping Liam gets his story too?

This is a spin-off of the Metahuman Files series and should not be read as a standalone.

This story focuses on a supporting character from the series, Trevor, and picks up a few months after In the Requiem. I loved being back within this world and getting to know Trevor better. It was exciting to see someone else from Alpha Team fall in love. Brendan was a new character to the series and while I enjoyed him, I don't feel like I truly got to know him. I wish this book had been longer, as

Definitely not a stand-alone but a welcome return to the Metahuman Universe. Most of the raving reviews I have seen lost it over the telekinetic wall sex. I have to say there was not nearly enough of it? I liked this fine but I had the same problem I always had with this series: I still have no clue who the hell is who and the info dumping in this little story didn't help.

So, read it if you liked the Metahuman files. It's more of the same. You decide if that is a good or bad thing.
WOW!!! I love this author, who is an auto-buy for me.

I love this series and I can honestly say that especially the last book , was one with real emotional impact. I am so happy that there are more books!

it was the perfect love story! Loved it
I wanted to say I appreciated the time off between the original series ans spin-off. It's why Alexei and Sean and I didn't connect. Wish it was longer and more fleshed out for Trevor as I enjoyed the chemistry between him and Brendon.
Despite this being a short novella this book brought back all the things I love about Metahuman world and added another couple to the ever growing Alpha team family.

A chance meeting of Trevor and Brendan under dangerous circumstances finds two men in close quarters and falling in love very quickly. But even though it's fast they manage to learn to trust each other and become friends and lovers. Who knew these two men would set the sheets on fire?! Who knew that Brendan is full of surprises and

Loved it! Kept postponing to read this book (psst its' Haileys second book that I read)... and it surprised me with less of fight and more of story. The sons of Adam a former terrorist group associates abuses his girlfriend and is caught. Loved the Metahuman power action! Trevor, former member of Alpha team (something like navy seal for people with power) is now studying to become a Doctor gets caught up in a crime scene (hospital) and helps out the Paramedic.

Nice to see the gang back together again post all the shit that went down in In the Requiem, and for Trevor to take centre stage for a bit.

Awww... it’s lovely to see more and more members of Alpha Team find love and romance. It was also lovely to be back in this universe (although I technically never left ). I don’t know how I’m going to deal with nothing else to read from this universe!

3+ stars. As nice as it was to read about Trevor finding someone who fits him so perfectly, this just didn't have the impact of either the saga of Jamie and Kyle's struggle towards never-certain HEA or Alexei and Sean's stormy relationship. But that's ok. Trevor is more steady and consistent than his teammates, so maybe he deserves a solid ending. And we got to see Katie dressed up for the opera, so that's a bonus!

This was a short book in the Metahuman Files world that was focused on Trevor. I really liked it and the fact that we got to know him a lot better. A few scenes with the whole team that was also great to see. Love this series!

Unfortunately the author has changed her review policy and is making it impossible for me to review her books in the future. Apparently review copies are now only available in Kindle format sent to a Kindle email - which I do not have and never will. Amazon is too poweful already and I cannot believe that authors actually fall for their nonsense. It is extremely disappointing!

I guess some authors don't need reviews...

I am a relative late-comer to Hailey’s Metahumans series, mostly because I wasn’t sure of the genre. Urban fiction/paranormal isn’t really my thing. After hearing people raving about her stories for several months, however, I finally started reading In the Wreckage (Metahuman Files book 1) and found I could not stop. The benefit to dragging my feet was that I didn’t have to; I spent a glorious couple of weeks reading all 5 books, plus the short stories and ficlets she would occasionally grace us ...more

This was a great read. I really enjoyed this book. This was not as long as previous books in the Metahumans files have been but this book got straight to the point and left nothing to be wondered. This is Trevor’s book. Of course the other members of his team make guest appearances as well.

This is a continuation of The Sons Of Adams attacks and Trevor, though he isno in medical school, finds himself right in the middle of another one of their attacks. But this time the attack takes place in the

Moving on with life after the devastating and life-altering events in DC isn't always straightforward. Some suffer with PTSD, others struggle to find their new place in the world. Trevor Sanchez has always been sure of who he is and what he wants. While he misses the camaraderie and stability and familiarity of his military unit and his place with Alpha team, he's eager to finally become the doctor he wants to be. When the Sons of Adam don't seem to be laying down their plans, Trevor becomes ...more

An exciting and welcome new novella in the Metahuman files saga. So much packed into this fantastic story of one of my favorite characters, Trevor from the series. After being uncovered as Metahumans in the harrowing war against the Sons of Adam. Trevor telekinesis extraordinaire is now a med student living civilian life. Not long after sitting in a lecture do alarms indicate an emergency that could include armed gunmen, that set the hospital on shutdown and Trevor into action, and I love the ...more

Thoroughly enjoyed this novella that featured Trevor and Brendon's story that catches the reader up months after Book 5 took place.
1. Trevor & Brendon's story
2. Catching up with the team
3. The team teaming up
1. Too short LOL yes it's a novella but selfishly craved for a full-length novel to get more of Trevor, Brendon and the team.
1. The team rises like the Phoenix again with new adventures
2. Does Jamie's dad win the Presidential Election?
3. Is Sons of Adam finished

I loved being back in the Metahuman Files world for this story! We got to know Trevor during the main books, but haven't glimpsed much beyond the surface until now.. and damn, I think I'm in love. Highly intelligent, ambitious, protective, strong, and sexy as hell with the right amount of sweet, Trevor is kind of my dream man. And he is telekinetic, so there is ALL kinds of fun to be had with that! Brendan is a perfect match for Trevor and the intense chemistry between the two sparks almost the ...more

I just can't get enough of this series. I know this is a spin off of the Metahuman series but we get to see all the faces that I love from that series. Trevor, the medic from Alpha Team, is now working on becoming a doctor and while in class, there is an attack at the hospital that he is at. So, he jumps into action and runs down to the ER to lend a hand and he comes face to face with Brendan an EMT who is trying to protect his patient. As it turns out, the patient has ties with the Sons of Adam ...more

New Horizons is the second novella in the Metahuman Files: Classified series. This novella focuses on Trevor Sanchez and Brendan Kane. I was so excited to read this book because I have read all of the other books in this series, and I was excited to finally read a story from Trevor's perspective. This is the first time we get his perspective, and I was glad that I was able to learn more about him. I would recommend if you have not yet read the other books in the series then you should read those ...more
There's just something about Hailey Turner's writing that keeps me coming back for more...the detailed world that just makes you feel like you're part of it, the dynamic characters that make you laugh and cry and rage, the emotion that just pours out onto the page. This novella was another divine introduction into the Metahuman Files. I miss these guys!

Trevor is studying hard to be a doctor, but another mission comes calling for him and formerly known as (but will always be in my heart) Alpha

Hailey Turner is big city girl who spoils her cats rotten and has a demanding day job that she loves, but not as much as she loves writing. She’s been writing since she was a young child and enjoys reading almost as much as creating a new story. Hailey loves stories with lots of action, gritty relationships, and an eventual HEA that satisfies the heart.

You can keep up with Hailey's future
