A creative non-fiction by Narayan Wagle, set on Korea.
In the words of Linkin Park: "I tried so hard, And got so far, But in the end, It doesn't even matter". I really did try, but couldn't go ahead from the third chapter onwards. Maybe someday soon, I will have enough courage to pick it and finish this book! The 2 star is for Narayan Wagle sir coz I admire him.
Disappointed... Talking about “Koreana Coffee Guff” my expectation level didn’t meet. May be I expected more than this from Wagle sir (my expectations are like the content of Palpasa Cafe). The Book layout is awesome but Not really enjoyed while reading.
Much different from Palpasa Cafe, I must say. Most of the times it feels like the writer is taking you to an adventure in the cities of Korea along with their past pages which could feel monotonous at times. Nonetheless, a wonderful creative creation.
It was good to read the author's thought flow. It's nice to be introduced to Shiva Ryu, Manjul, Kim Nam-il. I wish to read them and try to understand their words with different context than how Wagle has. Let's see! It is a good read if you enjoy journal, chitchat like kind of reading.
After palpasa cafe , i became a fan of his writing . I don't know about others, but this book was oddly satisfying for me. It was like relieving the moment he lived once . Probably this book was not something what i expected but couldn't deny the fact that i was searching for something like this.
Suru ma padda k lekhya hola jasto lagira thyo. Tara paddai jada sano simple plot ma kati dherai feelings samateko raicha. Pachi ta continuity aafai lai rokna garo vo. I enjoyed it sir thank you.
Huge disappointment... Palpasa cafe ekdam ramro thyo Mayor times thikae thyo Koriyana coffe guff maa sachee ni nae guffae guff xa 3days ko activities le nae 100+ page katae dinxa
