Good reference book but could have been better, well lead out with great facts and pics, but some big omissions, firstly spidey and hulk are there under the avengers chapter but ,ok Sony’s rights to Spider-Man probably halted the entries of characters such as vulture and aunt may etc and universal like wise for abomination and Betty Ross etc, but there is no reason to omit big characters like the collector , nova prime and nova corps , fandral and hogun , kurse ,zemo and the other to name a few. Otherwise the book will only be 5 star when these big characters are included. Until the updated version, excelsior!

I almost only gave this three stars, but then I realized that this wasn’t fair. I had been expecting that this edition would include events from Avengers: Endgame. It does not, so it felt incomplete to me. But as it was published before that film was released, I can’t really fault that. While it does included reference to the tangential film, The Incredible Hulk, it does not include Spider-Man: Homecoming. Oh well, not perfect but acceptable and it is packed with information that helpfully illustrates the differences between the comics and the films.

This is a very good reference book for the MCU. It contains accurate and current information up to the Captain Marvel (2019) film, though it is clear that it was released prior to Captain Marvel. The format is nice, plenty of pictures, and good quality printing. The information is useful and interesting, and I learned a handful of trivia that I didn't know before!

The are some notable characters left out of these pages, however. Of course, the characters from The Incredible Hulk and the Spiderman series are left out due to ownership rights, which makes sense. Other characters, like The Collector, Cassie Lang's mother Maggie, the Rambeau ladies, and Starforce, however were left out. Otherwise, this book is very comprehensive and helpful for remembering references to characters.

It was an easy read, pleasant, and good for children and adults of all ages!

A quick summary of the MCU

A quick summary (1-2 pages per character) of MCU characters from the start of the MCU (Iron Man) to Avengers end game. Seems to be missing a few characters like the Abomination, the Leader, the Collector. Missing MCU characters from TV like Punisher, Daredevil, Iron Fists, etc. Good book overall.

ADAM BRAY: MARVEL STUDIOS - ENCYKLOPÉDIA POSTÁV

Krásna encyklopédia, plná s fotkamy postáv z filmov Marvel. Každá postava má napísaný svôj príbeh a úlohu vo filmoch.

It was cool. A lot of great character visuals of the actors in costume, especially in their first appearances in the early 2010s. Some of the tidbits about the characters are superfluous, but it looks like this was written for teenagers.

(I actually gave this book 4.75⭐️)
Nice and useful book if you have never seen the movies, although the execution could have been better. Some characters are overlooked, as well as some movies. The book could bear more details about the characters imo.

Místo kapitoly s Captain Marvel mohl Adam vybrat Spider-mana, pro kinematografii určitě významnější než Captain Marvel.

I received this for free with the dvd I bought - seemed a shame not to read it. Doesn't really tell you much you don't already know.

S most a nagyobbik fiam olvassa.
