Wendys Wycked Words

I have read and loved every single book in this series and I was so excited about finally getting King's story. Even though each book focusses on a different couple, I would advise reading them in order, starting with the first book  Love in Spades . These men are so close...they are a self-made family, So they all have their own important part to each of the stories.

King's story was absolutely amazing and so was his love-interest Leo. Sweet, shy and quirky genius Leo. I loved the awes

My favorite of the series!!

I’m sure that Cochet’s inspiration for King and Leo definitely influenced my love and enjoyment factor because if you don’t have a thing for DoB, then I can’t even…

What is it about a gruff reticent loner by choice, who really doesn’t need anybody except the family he already has, slowly comes apart at the hands of an unconventional genius who has no subterfuge? What is it about a seemingly misunderstood, lonely guy who’s been ostracized by the majority, finally

This final story centres on the Four Kings leader and all around stoic badass, Ward Kingston (AKA King), as he takes on a bodyguard detail for an old military friend, providing close, personal protection for a quirky tech genius named Leopold de Loughrey.

I loved this story so hard. King and Leo’s chemistry burst off the page from the very first adorable and fairly hilarious moment they met. They had a bit of a May-December thing going on, with King being a bit older than young Leo, but

A socially awkward character is my weakness, and Leo's character was done well.

I had no intention of touching this series, but I'm so glad I let my sister tempted me into giving this book a try. 😍

So much fun! Charlie's Beware of Geeks Bearing Gifts couple Quinn and Spencer are getting married and the guys are along for the ride.

This was a freebie during the Valentines Giveaway on Prolific Works and I loved it, there's so much love around, even if newly loved up King had to do without his Leo, the rest of the gang was there to celebrate and joke and generally just make me happy reading!

After reading the previous three books in the Four Kings Security series and getting to know Ward “King” Kingston a little with each story, I knew the man that finally stole his heart would have to be amazing and very special and this is certainly Leopold de Loughrey aka Leo.

When King is asked by an old friend to protect his son Leo from himself and the people that want to use him as a human computer, King did not know what he was getting into.

ETA: Summer 2020 - this is just the most prefect comfort audiobook to listen to. I love Leo and King so, so much and I love Greg narrating all of these guys. Seriously, my favorite series to re-listen to when I want a pick-me-up!

Ahhhhhhh FINALLY King's story! And it was SO SO good!

King is the leader of his brothers in arms, one of the co-owners of the Four Kings Security team, and he's always been so serious and also begging for a story. And Leo - bright, shiny, happy, rambling, fish-shaped-snac

I've been a fan of Charlie Cochet since the Thirds Series so in always eager and excited to read every single book she releases.

Not only was this King's book.

This was an age gap romance.

And I was sold.

This is one of my favorite in the series. I feel like I'll never get tired of reading about the guys in the series. They make everything so much more enjoyable. And I love their dynamics.

On to the next one! Which I hope releases soon.

I LOVED this one!!! King was everything I was hoping for and more. Leo was just too adorable for words. The two of them together just melted my heart! This is most definitely my favorite of the series.
I've enjoyed each of the books in Charlie Cochet's Four Kings Security series, but I'll admit, I've been looking forward to getting King's story more than any of the others. I didn't even read the blurb or any reviews first so as not to spoil the surprise ;)

Diamond in the Rough is everything I'd hoped for, in just the way I know Charlie Cochet is going to do it! To see Ward open up like this is *gah* so satisfying. That delicious teddy bear we all knew would be lurking underneath that bear of a
I was really looking forward to King’s story, and I was glad it was a good one!

King gets asked by an old friend to watch his son Leo for him. The general has always kept his genius son hidden, but now that the military has him in their sights Leo has no choice but to complete an assignment for them.

When King meets Leo, the cute man with the glasses seems to be different from anyone King has ever met. Leo might be a genius, but he’s socially awkward and adorable.

King does everything in his power
I really enjoyed this and felt like it wrapped up the series nicely, but King was not at all what I expected. I really expected a gruff and grumbly impossible to get through to guy and he wasn't that at all, with Leo. I loved that. I liked seeing King kind of stumble around over Leo. Especially once my friend Meags pointed out that this was Charlie's influence for Leo. We all know I love, love, love me some Dylan! Woot!

So yeah, not what I expected but I'm happy anyway.

Really enjoyed this book - King the stubborn leader helps out his General friend to support his son. On meeting Leo he realized he may have met his match. Leo, a sweet, vulnerable genius who gets lost in his own world is being persecuted by his team and to top it off, targeted by an unknown group. King brings in the four kings and a friendship unfolds. Really easy read, warm and made me happy ❤️

Wow, I could listen to Greg Boudreaux read the phone book. His voice is just so yummy!! And when he started voicing Leo, I was a goner!!! Leo is just too freakin' adorable for words!! I just wanted to hold him and put him in my pocket, such a sweetie!

I read some of my friends reviews and not only did they enjoy it, they said they couldn't wait for King's story. I've not read any other book in this series and can say I see why th
Charlie Cochet has done an outstanding job with this book! I loved it! Out of all the Kings Ward Kingston aka King always remained aloof and a little detached while still being the center of King family. He really deserved his happy ever after but the man he needed came in the most extraordinary package of all.

Leo is a wonderful young man albeit shy and awkward. His sharp mind and quirky personality alienated his peers, and with no one to understand him his confidence is shattered and he feels
I absolutely adored this book from start to finish. The story was interesting and riveting, and King and Leo had amazing chemistry from the start of this.

It very quickly moved from King doing a favor for the General by looking after/protecting his son to King choosing to protect Leo because of Leo, for Leo. Pretty much after the first meeting, I'd say, that King was hooked.

Doesn't make it insta-love, but they do fall for each other quick, over a few weeks, a few months, and the good thing is tha

Diamond in the Rough is the fourth book in Charlie Cochet’s Four Kings Security series, each focusing on one of the partners in the company. I have enjoyed this series overall, but I have to say that this one is my favorite. There is a slightly different tone here that just worked really well for me. I liked the way the focus here has a little more of a military vibe and the way the case connects with bigger issues outside of Four Kings specifically. The look int

This short snippet was funny, romantic and slightly steamy. Apart from family drama there were many sweet and tender words, moments of joy and celebration and promises made. I liked revisiting with the guys and their loved ones. It made my heart light and happy!

I’ve had a string of DNF’s lately so I’m hoping to end my year on some good rereads. I love King and Leo. This is just so easy to read.

4.25 stars. The only reason I've not given it 5 stars is the fact that the 'traitor' was quite well telegraphed and couldn't really have been anyone else.

Ward and Leo were so well suited, Leo being the archetypal computer geek...extremely intelligent but pretty awkward socially and Ward?? Well,
What a wonderful little short to add to this series. It's about Ace and Colton mainly, but it takes place on Valentine's Day for Ace's cousin Quinn and Spencer's wedding.

Antics ensue when Spencer appears to go missing, but it all turns out okay, and Ace (view spoiler)

This is after King's book but there are no spoilers and King's guy isn't there to avoid those. Can't wait to read King's book!

All I can leave here is a note to remind myself to steer clear of this series and its author. I simply could not check enough disbelief at the door, nor stop rolling my eyes.

I was surprised cause it was better than I expected and better than the others in the series. I was also scared cause King had me intrigued from the beginning and I could not wait for his story but this was very good!

I just can’t get over how good it was!

King was such an amazing character and Leo complemented him so good.

King is sent to protect the General’s son, who he only has been hearing the best and how clever Leo is. Leo has been tasked by the government to create a program that could be

I mean.... The men in this series are all too perfect for real life, but I still melt when they get all affectionate with one another.

Alpha-nerd romance is literally one of my favorite tropes. There's always something sexier when a tough men-of-steel man falls for a tender geeky guy and feels protective over him.

Tech whiz Leopold de Loughrey is one of the most genius guy and the most wanted in the government since he was a four star United States Army General's son. Ward Kingston was asked to watch over Leo by the General because the General didn't want the government to find out about his son.

This series is just plain fun.

I've been waiting for Ward "King" Kingston's story for what feels like forever and I am definitely not disappointed!

King's the one who's always there for his brothers, but when he accepts a protection job from an old friend and commander, he more than meets his match in an awkward geek with anxiety issues, who can’t cook, and has a penchant for fish-shaped snacks.

I love the characters in this series so much, and now I can add Leo to the list! I am so happy King wind
