Mindy Lou's Book Review
I'm so excited that there is a new Katie Reus series. This book did not disappoint. I loved it! I devoured it! I want more!

Evie was awesome. I love a heroine who can hold her own. She's ex-CIA and forced to investigate as a civilian with a CIA agent she has worked with in the past. Two women who know how to kick butt and take names.

Dylan is my kryptonite hero. He's former military, now a millionaire real estate mogul. He's the strong, silent and very, capable hero. He also has no idea that Evie
Oh yeah! Now this is what I’m talking about when I’m looking for in a great romantic suspense!

Evie has carried guilt for the last year after using Dylan to make a connection to a CIA target her group was looking to take down. She never expected to fall for him, but just reading his bio before she officially met him caused a reaction within her. Actually getting to know him meant falling in love and when he proposed, her lies and guilt overwhelmed her and she could do nothing but run.

This is a fabulous little read.

I loved nearly everything about it.

Evangeline is a strong, capable, intelligent female lead and her friend and ex-colleague Samara is equally good. Can I just say how nice it is to read a book with not one but two great females.

The book opens with both Evie and Samara on a mission for the CIA. It then switches to the present and Evie is home in Miami. Her life is not going as planned.
Her oldest brother Evan is in hospital after a bomb took out his office.

Yay, a new series by Ms. Reus!

I really enjoyed it. Evie was kick-arse and Dylan was no slacker even though he was a civilian (okay, he was former military bad a$$). Loved seeing some of the Red Stone Security peeps.

I can't wait to see what happens with her brothers. Where is he hiding and will the other one get his head on straight?

4 - "You’re going to tell me all your secrets…" Stars!

Katie Reus begins her new Endgame Trilogy based around the three Bishop siblings with Evie Bishop’s story. Both of her brothers are dealing with their own problems as well (which I am sure will be given total focus in their own books) but for ex-CIA Agent Evie, her problems are in the here and now, life-threatening and bring her back into contact with a man, she walked out on just as he took one knee and proposed to her.

An engaging suspenseful romance.
The chemistry between Dylan and Evie was amazing, the plot was full of action and intensity and the story had a brisk pace.
I am looking forward for the stories of Evie’s brothers!!!

Bishop's Knight by Katie Reus is fabulous start to the new series Endgame Trilogy.

From the first page my interest was captured and I didn't put it down until I finished. This is one of those books you keep telling yourself just one more chapter which ends up with you reading late into the night as you can't put it down lol

I love Katie Reus writing, she has a way with her words that makes you invested in her characters and the story unfolding in front of you.

Evie Knight is (ex) CIA, but hasn’t lost any of her skills. When a former team member shows up on her doorstep claiming they are both in danger, Evie goes to Dylan Blackwood, the one person she knows will help, even if their personal relationship is a little mucked up.

Evie is a feisty little thing, with a heart of gold and an unshakeable faith in the greater good. I liked the contrast with her CIA position because it grounded why Evie does the job in the first place. I also enjoyed her family t

CAN A SPY EVER SAY "I have had enough and I want to go HOME?" The Bishop family is in a bad way and Evie Bishop (former CIA) returns to Miami finding out that these issues are more difficult to solve than her Life and Death Job has been. Evie Bishop has returned home to a family in turmoil. One brother is fighting for his life and another is on the run. Then her friend shows up injured and spouting conspiracy theories that could also put Evie in danger. With nowhere else to turn, she is forced to ask her ex for help.

Dylan Blackwood has not seen Evie in six months since she broke his heart and left him. He might not believe he can trust her, but he cannot stand by and see her in danger. He is wealthy, smart, resourceful, protect

Fast paced, full on, intriguing, and exciting to read Bishop's Knight was a brilliant start to Katie Reus's new Endgame Trilogy. And with great characters, a second chance romance, riveting sub plots, plus plenty of action I was easily hooked throughout. And I'm extremely excited for whatever comes next.

Would happily recommend.

Evie's Guardian!!!

Evangeline "Evie" Bishop knew how to get into impossible places, thanks to her government training. After her latest op with her team, they were called to her hometown, Miami to assist the Feds in an new op called the Jensen op. She didn't want to keep doing black ops so she retired. Things weren't what she expected when she got there, her two brothers found themselves in trouble. With one being in a coma (Evan) and the other one (Ellis) hiding because he was wanted for murder.

Dylan knows when to just let his woman get her way, “I can give you whatever you need.” Hell, why did that sound like it meant something else? She simply sat there, watching him and not answering. He sighed. “Fine. Can I send one of my guys to get your things?” I liked this book, I fell in love with Dylan.

Not able to take her to the hospital or even a doctor, Evie has no choice but to ask her former love Dylan Blackwood for help. She knows he isn't part of any ops, but he is insanely wealthy and has connections. He can get Samara a doctor and keep it off the radar.

I like action, espionage, and sizzling romance. And, Bishop’s Knight brings all that together in one very quick enjoyable story. Bishop’s Knight is about a woman who works for the CIA but is on hiatus because her family is in turmoil. Katie Reus has a style that is easily accessible - albeit too much alike Kaylea Cross that they seem interchangeable - and a great reputation for doing up short but breezy romantic suspense reads, which is basically a compelling reason enough to want to get into her books. Some of which have even been very memorable.

‘Bishop’s Knight’ however, pushed every, single wrong button in this second-chance story and reminded me how infuriated I could get with a trope that so far,

Bishop's Knight is the first book in the Endgame Trilogy by Katie Reus. The books will feature the Bishop siblings. Our heroine is the only girl of the family and works for the CIA. Now she is back and tries to prove that her brother is innocent. Well, at least that's the plan until one of her friends arrives after someone shot her, so the plan changes and she has to find who is after her friend. None of her work can be on record and so she goes to her (rich) ex to ask for help. Dylan is not wil ...more

The past doesn’t always stay where it belongs – in the past. Evie learned that firsthand when an old friend who had worked on a CIA op with her shows up at her door shot, and with a dire message. Thus begins BISHOP’S KNIGHT and it does not slow down from this moment onward in one fashion or another.

Having read multiple books from Katie Reus (Redemption Harbour, RedStone and Deadly OPS) I was very excited to find a first book on a new series. The series is about the Bishop siblings: Evie, Ethan and Ellis. They are a high society family, with a lot of money. Bishop's Knight is about Evie, who walked out of the life of the man who proposed to her: Dylan Blackwood. Turns out, she had to, because she was on a secret mission and Dylan was one of her resources to get to a bad guy. It was the hard ...more

Bishop's Knight is the first book in Katie Reus' all-new Endgame trilogy. So far my favorite series of hers is still the Red Stone Security series, but I'm really excited about this trilogy after reading book one!

Yes, I'm a romantic suspense junkie. And Katie Reus is on my auto 1-click list. To date, I have not been disappointed in any of her books. Obviously, I like some more than others, but I'd happily recommend any of them.

Evie and Dylan’s second chance romance swept me off my feet, folks. As usual, this author captivated me with a protective, caring, good guy hero and a strong, sassy heroine worthy of him and vice versa.

Evie was the picture of a highly skilled trained agent ready to answer the call of duty at a moment’s notice. Even when her family’s world is crashing and burning around her, she’s still willing to put her neck on the line for justice and to help a friend. Dylan is a threat to her heart as she li
