An excellent look at what has to change. In the almost two decades since this book was written, however, the trend towards a more phobic Christianity seems only to have continued.

In many ways, Fischer's work follows the formula for books of this type - lots of anecdotal stories to illustrate key points, all wrapped in mediocre writing. In other ways, he breaks new ground - hard hitting honesty! I really liked it.

I bought Fearless Faith back in 2002 at a Write to Publish, the first writing conference I ever attended. Mr. Fischer was the spotlight speaker. His words fascinated me. And challenged. This book began my journey out of religion and into freedom in Jesus.
