Great Reference Book, not at all a page turner but a great speed read through followed by reference for those working in this space.

The frameworks presented along with the real world case studies are well reasoned and all interesting, though a major gap (which is difficult to overlook in such a dense title) is the advancements within HPT and training techniques. In real world manufacturing/distributed value streams the values of people and their interest in expanding their expertise to collaborate and coordinate with others deserves much more than a single chapter on talent development/scouting This is as core as any technological advancement.

Really good text, but the human element has as much influence as everything else described here. (Not an easy space to be working in to be fair... though that's why its fun right?)
