Parhelion: Forces of Nature Book 3 has listed for its genre: fiction, romantic fiction, science fiction, alien encounter, and inspirational fiction. Though I read Lisa Lickel's first two books in this series, Parhelion took me farther than I expected, into the universe. I was lost for a while, but in the end the story was worth hanging onto. I encourage readers to hang on, too.

My favorite characters were Ann and Mark in Meander Scar and Centrifugal Force. And, for sure I had no sympathy for Maev

I've been a fan of Lisa's work for years. Her crisp writing, sharply drawn characters, emotional depth of story, and intriquing, swiftlyi moving plots are hallmarks of her novels. The third novel of a trilogy that started out as a family drama and romance, Parhelion steps into a new writing realm for her, Science Fiction.

A writer known for romances, mysteries, and histories, Lickel takes her main characters Maeve and Harry into a near future where nuclear annihilation is at hand and a generation

Lickel pens a wonderful story in Parhelion. This story is the first I've read of Lickel's but I found it very interesting, and a great read. I enjoyed the story, and the characters. It's a story full of action, and falling in love. Harry and Maeve are great together and apart, even though there are secrets between the two. I know this is the third book in the series, but I didn't feel lost by not reading the first two, something that I may end up doing anyway. I look forward to rea

Planned well in advance to ensure the survival of the human race, it has been established for several generations. These select few humans will colonize elsewhere, should the unthinkable happen.

Harry, a former Air Force pilot and Maeve, his fiancé, are two key players in this sci-fi drama. I don’t want to give away too much b
