Hammer and Jonas were on the hunt for a woman to share. However, either they couldn’t agree on the right woman, or she wanted no part of being in a ménage. That they found Mika on Valentine’s Day gave them hope that they had finally found the woman that they could spend the rest of their lives with … until she disappeared the next day, leaving them with an empty bed and no way to find her.

She might have escaped for now, believing she had gotten off scot-free, but the bounty hunters were determined to catch their fleeing third.

She might not know it yet, but some halos were made to be shared.

Dangerous Love is an anthology involving three sets of couples during Valentine's Day.

The first one, Heaven Sent has Lilly and Shade as the protagonists. Shade knows something is off with Lilly. She looks scared but he doesn't know why. Finding out who's scaring Lilly is his top priority.

In Chasing Rainbows, we finally figure out what had Grace and Ice fighting so much. in T.A.'s book, we knew they had a problem but we're not told exactly what it was. I've always liked this couple and I was glad they got their own little chapter and they were able to resolve their problems.

Lastly, on Halo For Three, we have the two bounty hunters, Hammer, and Jonas on the prowl for the right woman to accept their way of living. When they meet Mica, they think they have found her.

What a treat this was! I got to revisit the Last Riders, Predators, the bounty hunters, the Biker Bitches, and so many more characters. All the stories were all appealing to me. Greer as always makes me laugh so much with his attitude towards every man. Yet, as we all know, he gives a little bit of himself constantly when someone needs help. Shade has become one of my favorite characters. He always has a motive for everything he does and he's always involved in the life of everyone without anyone realizing it. This time, he was pushing Gavin to begin his new journey. I like the brief interaction Grace and Lilly had and how they were comparing notes. I like how Killy had to help her partners when they couldn't do it on their own. Mica was a revelation and I hope we're able to see her and her guys in future books.

I know Ginny and Gavin have to be next and I'm so excited about their story. I hope it's like Jamie Begley's earlier books.

I parted ways with this author a while ago but her greatest achievement for me was Shade. As soon as I spotted his book I wanted to read it. But a friend (thank you Linda) advised me to read all the early Last Riders books for background. Which I did.
So when I discovered this I knew I’d be reading it.

It’s probably me not the book. A sign that I’ve truly moved on because I found myself skimming. It wasn’t holding my attention, there was nothing new or even interesting.

I only read one of the three so my rating is for that alone.

I wasn't sure I was going to read this book since really the only couple I was interested in was Hammer and Jonas and finding out who their third would be. I'm just not a big fan of reading about coupe who have already had their HEA. But since it was in KU I decided I'd read it even if I only ended up reading one of the novellas. I read all three though and funnily enough, for me, Hammer and Jonas' story became the one I liked the least. It wasn't bad, but since they haven't already had a book I wanted more from their novella. Especially when there was an "After" part that involved Mika, their third, with information that I had no clue about since we didn't really get to learn much about her during the course of her story. And honestly I'm not sure it made sense of who she was since Hammer and Jonas didn't see her or know who she was before they bumped into her at their hotel. I hope we'll get to see more of them in future books and maybe learn some more about them.

As for Shade and Lily's novella, it was good, which is pretty much to be expected from them. Shade was his usual overprotective self and Lily was a sweetheart. There wasn't really anything that added to them as a couple, just more scenes that any fans of their will enjoy.

Then we have Ice and Grace. Who I have been frustrated with for the last few, maybe only two, books because they were clearly having issues in their marriage. But since they weren't the main couples in those books it was only briefly shown. Again, it's just a personal preference of mine that once a couple has their HEA their story is done and over. Not popping back up with a couple I already saw end happily now fighting and not having a good time at life. So I did actually want to see what was up with them. And I got my answers but it also seemed a little...I guess pointless? I just didn't understand the reasoning behind them having problems to begin with since it didn't really add anything to them as a couple in the end. And while the novella did resolve the issues and we got to see them happy I feel like I'm going to now be questioning if that happiness is going to last since it didn't at the first HEA.

Overall as a whole I liked this book and the stories in it and found it to be worth the read. If you're a fan of this author and these characters than I'd definitely recommend reading it.

While I’m not the biggest fan of short stories, these three definitely held my attention. I’ve got to say that this authors last few books haven’t been up to the same standard as her earlier ones for me. But these were vintage Jamie Begley IMO. She definitely had her mojo working writing these. I hope Gavin’s story is as good.

Holy Wow!!!!!
Loved every second of reading this book. 3 different stories in this "Dangerous Love" Anthology but are all interconnected.


First story "Heaven Sent" with the absolute best Alpha ever written (in my eyes anyway) Shade and his true to life Angel wife Lily. It was so good to catch up with these characters and see how their lives are going. Nothing made me happier than reading ANY words regarding Shade. That man is just Sex on legs, his heart, protective nature and the love he has for his family is out of this world swoon worthy and this story hit right in my heart like all the other times I have read and re-read his stories.
I don't think you would ever find a love stronger than what Shade feels for his wife and Vice versa. The way Jamie continues to give light and love to these characters that has us always wanting more is a real testament to her writing ability. I know one day we won't get any more Shade, and that day is going to be REALLY sad but hopefully it will be kept alive through their kid's stories (please Jamie lol)

Second story "Chasing Rainbows" Ice and Grace's story continues. I loved reading about these two. It might come as a shock to some but I really like reading about normal problems within relationships , yes... it's nice to read that epic love story with no issues every now and then but I'm all about grit, the rawness that a story can make my heart ache is what I love best and Jamie definitely didn't disappoint here. I never want to give too much of a story away in my reviews so I will just leave it there, but the urge is strong to have you all read this wonderful continuation of Ice and Grace's story. you will be thanking me.

Third and last story: "Halo for Three" I have been so excited to read this particular story of Hammer and Jonas... who would be their love interest and Boy oh Boy!!!! Jamie picked the perfect person in my eyes to be able to handle these two sexy men. Mika.... that woman is in a whole league of her own. it was such a pleasure reading about her and as the story progresses, all the twists and turns, the suspense revealed had me sitting on the edge of my seat. I loved every single word written in Halo for Three, couldn't have wanted it any other way.

Jamie Begley is a star in my eyes. She just keeps getting better and better, her amazingly talented writing ability is endless and she is an Author I will continue to one click (no matter what she brings out) Bravo for a brilliantly written book and I cannot wait to see what else you have in store for us.. This book deserves more than 5 stars in my eyes.

Great love!

Jamie said to read each story in order and she was very right, what great stories. Seeing Gavin was awesome and a hint of his story to come, the first story of Lily and Shade was great, especially the bar scene. Then the story started the mystery of all three stories, the next story of Ice and Grace was just a great, with finding out what happening in their marriage, in T.A. story the was a problem, I have to say theirs and Lily and Shade sex scenes was very hot to me, then the mystery continues with Hammer and Jones story where they find their one, I loved these two when I read Killyama,s Story, they met Mika one night and there was a big connection for all of them and boy was it hot. Then she left and their hunting skills came in with help from Killyama ( love her) also you find the end to the Mystery and it was a great ending, I tell you I love Jamie's books, each just gets better and better. Can't wait for Gavin story so hurry Jamie and thank you Jamie for another wonderful book!💗

⤅ This gets 3 stars, because out of the three stories two get 3/4 stars and one gets ZERO.

Story 1 is about Shade and Lily, so it's the entire reason I downloaded this book. It's cute; I love how he loves her. I do feel slightly discomfited because I feel like he hides SO MUCH of his life from Lily and it rubs me the wrong way, but I do believe that he would never cheat on her and that all his actions are done for (what he thinks is) her best.

Story 2 is about Ice and Grace. This one is HORRIFIC. I CANNOT BEGIN TO SAY HOW BAD THIS IS. ZERO STARS. In this one, Ice shames Grace (who has just had a miscarriage) for wanting him to have a safer job and feeling unsexy, he ogles an OW (Lily, of all people!) and tells his own wife Lily is more attractive than she is, and he makes it blatantly clear that he prioritises his club brothers over Grace. To top it all off Begley has Grace cry and APOLOGISE TO ICE FOR BEING A BITCH AND NOT GIVING HIM SEX. I swear, this one left me seeing red.

Story 3 thankfully is cute enough to work as brain bleach. It's an MFM featuring the bounty hunters Hammer and Jonas picking up Mika for what she thinks is a one-night stand. She flees the next morning, they track her down, happiness ensues. I wish this one were a full-length book.

If your a Shade and Lily fan this is book for you. Lily is pregnant. She performed and sexy pole dance for Shade on Valentine day. Shade was all over each story.

Ice & Grace I felt was rushed and lack in parts. I was glad to see them reunite final and trying to move their marriage along. I’m excited that they are planning for a baby. It was sad to learn Grace lost their baby closely after Oceana died. She did put Porsche in place which was awesome since it not normally something Grace would do.

Hammer/Mika/Jonas I don’t know what to say about this one. It was strange all over the place confusing. It almost like it was put in a blender and put on the page. There was no reason for Mika to be in Treepoint. Her & Grace hadn’t talked in years and she wasn’t invited to the wedding. Which is strange too because Dalton was her Uncle Dalton. Since her father & Dalton were club brothers. It hard to believe a virgin is going to take 2 men her first time. The hospital scene was weird too it was hard to read. I had to read it twice to make sense. It hard to believe it was only 3 days.

I love Greer he make me laughing the dinner scene at Kings I’m still laughing. Rider & Greer man that was great. Getting a small amount of time with King was good. Dalton & Ice killing Winston, the touch part with Dalton & Whip & Ice & Dalton. Gavin oh man Gavin I’m excited about his book the small parts we got to see was all much to much emotion I feel so bad for him.

Huh..not much new

While it was nice getting a catch up with Shade and Lily and finding out what was going on with Ice and Grace I felt this book didn't have much new stuff that you desperately needed to know. All in all I am left a bit deflated with this book as I hoped for more that I feel it just didn't deliver. Mila, Jonas and Hanmmer was a relatively pointless story until the very last part when some randomness was pulled together. A bit strange but hi hum done now. I really hope Gavins story goes back to the original style of the first few with genuinely heart breaking moments and real connections to the characters rather than the recent where to be honest I have no real interest in them. I loved the first half dozen or so books I read by Jamie but feel more and more let down with each new release over last few years.

This book gone differently then I expected. Or more correctly, my feelings about it. I enjoyed more about something what I didn't expected to.
I loved Shade and Lily part most. Once again Shade love was everything.
Ice and Grace... I think they needed more chapters then they got. It felt.... How to express it... After all the struggle showed that they had in TA book, it seemed that theirs 'struggle' was too easily solved. For this quick read the problem shouldn't had caused so much and for so long a strain between Ice and Grace.
Hammer, Jonas and Mika... They needed more chapters too, because it felt too rushed and I didn't felt their connection to click in. It more felt like a prologue to theirs full story.

There are 3 short stories each based around characters or themes from the books above - first there is Shade and Lily - what can I say about those two ever book I read with them in I cry. I. thought this book would be different as this is only a short story but know tears again! ICE and Grace (Predators Book 1 - cross over into The Last Riders) and Mika Jonas and Hammer. WOW each story gives you a little more insight into each couple and I particularly liked Grace and ICEs book and we got to understand why things had been a little off with them in the previous book T.A (Biker Bitches book6) although they do have their own book as well. Didn't I tell you all books cross over! Mika Jonas and Hammer is really HOT HOT 2 hot bikers and one Red Head that says it all. My fav book in the series is Viper or is Sex Piston or is it ICE I don't know - read them and let me know what yours are!

Overall kind of sad and disappointed with the quality of this book.

Let me start off my review by saying that not only am I a huge fan of Jamie Begley but I also own all of her books. Overall I don't feel like this book is worth my money because I feel like the quality of this book versus all the other books was very low and I also feel like there was a heavy lack of effort from Jamie in this book which is not only severely disappointing but overall is just devastating.

Shade & Lily: To me it felt like their story didn't have all that much of a point or reason to have been really written. it seems like the entire point of their chapter was to just kind of summer is that hey they have marriage issues and it kind of gave a little bit of insight as to Gavin situation and it goes a bit onto a new threat. The thing is is that at the end of the book the threat is more kind of talked about in Shades point of view and so that kind of to me it makes it feel like the entire a Lily and Shade story was a little bit pointless and maybe only put in there because people want to know more about Gavin & Ginny.

Ice & Grace: The entire issue between Ice and Grace was basically that they were having marital issues, they were fighting a lot, they were just pushing each other away. My issue with their story is that the issues don't feel fixed, it feels like the issues are glossed over and the characters both just decide oh well we're just going to move on because it's easier but it doesn't feel like any of the actual issues as they were having were solved. Well other than Ice murdering the guy who kidnapped Grace (score!).

Jones, Hammer, and Mika: Let me begin by saying the I am BEYOND thrilled that a triad relationship has made it into the series. That being said I don't think that the book with them was done to the same standards that the other books were. First this romance is half the length that all the other romances are. Quite literally this story starts when you are 50% done with the entire book which is SUPER short for Jamie Begley. Then there's the matter of the characters not really having a reason to be together other than that they're poly and to me that feels kind of wasteful and it's not up to the standards of any of the other romances at all. Lastly, I feel like a lot of the characters in this book are heavily underdeveloped especially in the last few chapters there is a random friend and a crazy abusive boyfriend that we hadn't heard about for the entire book that were just thrown in there to create some drama which just seems not creative.

Dangerous Love is an anthology by Jamie Begley. This novel consists of three novella length stories.

The first novella is Heaven Sent.
Heaven sent is told from the point of view of Shade and Lily and is a sexy Valentine's Day story.

When I first heard Jamie Begley was writing an anthology I crossed my fingers and hoped like hell she would include a Lily and Shade story. These two have been my favorite couple since the very beginning and they remain in the spot to this day.

Heaven Sent is a sexy Valentine's Day short story focusing on Lily's gift to shade. Let's just say she rents out a bar and there may just be a sexy sensual striptease where she's the one who's finally taking charge and Shade has to remain submissive. AHHH!!! I loved it so damn much!! I'm giving Heaven Sent a 5 star rating.

Next in the anthology, we have Chasing Rainbows. Chasing Rainbows is a little more up on the emotional scale than Heaven Sent. This novella is told from Grace and Ice's point of view. I liked this one but I didn't love it. I rated it a 3.5 Star.

Grace and Ice find themselves in a tricky position. They're stranded in the bar bathroom as they wait out Lily's sexy striptease. But it's not all champagne and roses for this couple whose had to maneuver through all the bumps in the road of their relationship lately. Instead of spending the time wisely and reigniting the flame, they spend their time bickering and initially working through all their relationship woes.

Something felt off about this novella. I liked it, but I didn't love it. I was sad for these two and all the shit they've been put through. And while we were given a little heat towards the end, I wanted a little more throughout this novella.

Halo for three is the third novella in this anthology. FINALLY, we get Hammer and Jonas's story!!! Hammer and Jonas want a polyamorous relationship. What they don't bargain on is the woman they both want, only sees them as a one night stand. Mika is going to learn quick, you can't outrun two bounty hunters.

I really loved this novella, I wish it were a full length story though. I wanted more of a breakdown. There were so many questions I needed answers for throughout reading. The heat was igniting, the passion sparking, and the lust was undeniable. Hammer and Jonas, they surprised me, but I needed a little more.

I rate Halo For Three 4 stars.

Overall, I rated this anthology 4 stars, it was a fun read. I loved the heat throughout and those little glimpses of emotional moments. There's a little bit of everything.

Hmmm... so this went a lot of differently to what I expected.

I love Jamie and I always need time before I read her books because they fuck me up. Seriously I'm an emotionally mess after it all because I feel to much. This one just wasn't enough for me. Let me explain why..

I really love that we got more from Shade and Lily. I continue to have a love hate relationship with them but it's also why they are one of the best couples Jamie has ever written and honestly you can't ever have enough of them because they are constantly evolving into something greater. That part of the story was a pleasant surprise that I enjoyed greatly. Another reason why I love them?. It's because so much time has gone into writting these characters! Building them up so that we as readers truly feel apart of their journey.

However... starting with Grace and Ice. I don't feel like after all that build up we had with the arguments between them that the issue was that simple and resolved that quickly? It seemed a little rushed?. More so because that is all we had. No after thought.. no future just that quick explanation with a little makeup. Strange.

Even more strange was Hammer, Jonas and Mika. That story wasn't even a short story, or at least it didn't even feel like that. It was a strange one because who are these characters? I mean I know where they came from but come on where is the back story?. Even a little build up and some prior knowledge. It just seemed crazy rushed and slapped in at the end which is a shame because I feel like they could of been great but I didnt connect enough with them to get that kind of emotion. I just feel like hmm.. a poly relationship, a little sex and a random beaten friend to add some angst. Crazy because I'm not used to that with any story with this author.

The end was again a little all over the place but probably the part that gave us the most in the way of questions and answers. I love that we got a sneak at Gavin and his state of mind and I whole heartedly feel like this book was meant to tease us ready for his release. But the mega fan in me can't help but feel a little gutted that it wasn't enough and the trio felt cheated out of having there own story.

I've given it 4ish stars purely for Shade and Lily and the end because those parts are great. The rest is good and to most it will all be amazing and it does clear up some questions but I just don't feel like it wasn't enough for me.

HOWEVER!! That doesn't mean I'm not pissing my pants excited for Gavin because I know his story will be killer!. I can't wait for that and all the characters because lord knows none of the men and women of this series can keep the meddling paws outa eachothers shit. Also doesn't mean I don't still love th shit out of this author because hello ... she is the shit! I love her. For me this just wasn't a favourite.

-How lucky is Ice that Shades NOT going to kill him…or beat his ass😆🙃😆
-Why wasn’t Porsche shot for being in Ice’s office at the club?? Where was the silent alarm like when Casey went in there?!!!!?
-😐talking about Winston totally killed the mood for me👎

I loved his book ... it left me wanting more ... it was great seeing more of lily and shade and also ice and grace .. the only negative I have to say is I would have liked jonas and and hammer to get there own book ..I felt that there story was rushed and could have gone more into depth as mica really interested me .. I cannot wait for next book and I so hope it is gavin book fingers crossed he ends up with Ginny .. mrs begley as certainly teased us with this one ... I'm hoping all my questions will be answered in the next book ...

Love anything Jamie Begley! She knows how to suck you into a story!!!

What a great Anthology. Each separate novella had me glued to my kindle, but wishing for more from each one. These addictive stories are all stand alone, but interconnected to make me wish I had Gavin's book now! I will say that knowing Shade is involved in any story is an automatic one click for me, but GREER is really just as awesome. He's my absolute favorite in this anthology. His antics are hysterical!! Love how GREER keeps everyone on their toes!

Anything with Shade/10 stars. I like that each story was a given enough attention and I did not feel slighted...
She is a master of taking one time frame/Valentine’s Day,and weaving 3 different stories, only to meet again at the end.
I do however need a little more Gavin and, I have to re read ice and graces book, to put a stamp on what I have missed/I kept up with Pennis story. But the rest I swear someone else wrote.

Catch up

This was all but a catch up seeing people again from other books again but centered around two main characters. It was a little disappointing 😕 and slow for mo really enjoy this one but we got answers to what wá going on from the previous book. But it wasn't my fave of the series

Jamie Begley can do no wrong . She could write a phone book and I'd read it . It was so good catching up with some of the Last Riders again and Shade and Lilly being one of my favorite couples was icing on the cake.
