I was never one of those children who made the things featured on Blue Peter, as I recall! I don't think I would have had the patience (or the adult assistance, I was one of eight!) to make most of these toys and games, but I do remember the telephone we made with two tins and string, and I'm pretty sure that even in this age of mobiles/handys/cell-phones, many kids would still find this thrilling!

This Wonderful Book Demonstrates on how to make basic yet engaging toys that harkens back to my childhood.

Easy things to make for little kids, just using items found around the house like match boxes and cotton reels. So much fun! So many fond memories!
