Prince Harvey had a great life.
He was very handsome (some would say, too handsome for his own good). He was heavily doted on by his parents, and the ladies were crazy about him.
Still, he had a good heart.
He spent his days swimming, fishing, practising his target shooting, and getting up to general high jinks with his cousin and best friend, Ralphie. He also enjoyed tearing

In Maggie Archer's delightful tale, we follow the egotistical Prince Harvey. He has a lush life as the only child of the King and Queen of Avaria, a idyllic, plentiful land. This magical story is very cute and sweet, teaching the importance of always treating others with kindness. While on the younger side of middle grade, The Scarecrow and the Princess is relevant and inspiring for all ages. This book is guaranteed to make you smile! This book is an extremely quick and short read that will leave you in a better mood. Even for just 67 pages, the author still put in plenty of character development and a lovely storyline that won't disappoint! Read the full review her ...more

This story is one of the sweetest I've read. It will be a great addition to any child's bookshelf while helping them improve their vocabulary on the side.
In this delightful romp, Prince Harvey is cursed on account of his rudeness and gets stranded as a scarecrow in an apple orchard. Because fairy tale curses are meant to be broken, he soon meets an unconventional princess who will see him for who he is and lead him to his very own happily ever after.
It is the lucid and witty writing which adds c
