Another sweet and enjoyable addition to the Wicked Dukes Club by Erica Ridley. I'm really liking the world the two ladies have created in this two-author series. This was the 5th book in the series, and so far I'm yet to be dissapointed by anything in this series. A lovely almost-impossible romance between the sister of a Duke and a common blacksmith.

I received this book from the author and publisher for an honest review. This does not in any way affect my opinion of the story or cha

This was one of my favourite books in this series so far. It was good to feature a commoner, Giles Langford, a blacksmith, who was also a crack racing driver and handsome too. Felicity was now the sister of a duke but had come from humble beginning. She shared, with Giles, a common enthusiasm and skill in working with mechanical machines. Felicity is trying to find a suitor that will meet both her and her brother’s expectations. However, Giles and Felicity, have shared interest in common, not to ...more

One Night to Remember is the fifth book in the Wicked Dukes Club series by Erica Ridley and Darcy Burke. Erica is writing the odd-numbered books while Darcy is writing the even-numbered books in the series.

Giles Langford may be untitled, but he is still relatively wealthy, is a well known and respected blacksmith, but is most well known for being the 'curricle King'. He enters races and for the most part, wins them. He is also very good looking and often has women flirting with him. His good lo

This was a quick, fun read and not what I expected from the book blurb. She wasn’t working in his smithy without him knowing she was a she. I enjoyed both of the lead characters, but was more drawn to Giles than Felicity – I think mostly because he was who he was and made no bones about it, but she was pretending to be something she wasn’t. I understand her pretending, but I was beginning to wonder if she was ever going to

This is book 5 of the delightful Wicked Dukes Club series. The author always creates fascinating and appealing characters in fast pace and clever scenario written in an entertaining and humorous voice. This addition is no exception.

This is the story of Lady Felicity Sutton, sister of the Duke of Colehaven. To two of them had grown up in poverty, on the street, with Felicity disguised as a boy, so she could be with her brother, working at a smithy, which became a calling to her. After a number of

Erica Ridley’s latest addition to the Wicked Duke Club series she and Darcy Burke have alternately written, is another entertaining read with engaging characters, a plausible plot, witty dialogue, and a sweet/spicy romance. Felicity Sutton, the younger sister of Caleb (Cole), the Duke of Colehaven, has vowed to never experience again the old life she and her brother survived when growing up. She plans to marry a lord who can provide for her and won’t mind if she gets involved in charitable works ...more

Believable? Perhaps not
Splendid story? Without a doubt
Did I enjoy it? Every word of it

Giles Langford and Felicity Sutton have much in common as far as their interest in carriage making goes but nothing at all in common in social status. Felicity’s brother, Duke of Colehaven, has a race to win and asks Giles to check out the mechanics of his vehicle and then drive drive it in the race BUT with the stipulation that Giles work side by side fo

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

One Night To Remember, by Erica Ridley, is book five in the Wicked Dukes Club series. Available for purchase 6-11-19, this is the story I've been waiting for, Giles Langford. I was interested in his character in the pervious books and my hope for his own tale came true.

Giles Langford, aka The Curricle King, is a respected blacksmith and a hell of a whip. His curricle, Baby, is like the wind, rushin

Yay, the last of Erica Ridley in the Wicked Duke Series (and fortunately still one of Darcy Burke to go). And this time it is about Giles Langley, one of the customers of the Wicked Duke. He is no noblemen, but he gains a lot of customers (dukes and marquesses) from his trips to the Wicked Duke. And one of his best customers is one of the owners of the Wicked Duke, namely the Duke of Colehaven (you know, from One Night for Seduction). The Duke of Colehaven has a special request for Giles, who is ...more

Lady Felicity Sutton was at a ball and at her brother's request her mission for tonight was to chant one of the unwed Lords preferably a Duke so that she could marry him. If she couldn't get a Duke then she could have a Marquess but she wasn't supposed to be drinking lemonade. And all she could think about was growing up with her brother the Duke of Coldhaven when they didn't have anything nor did they know where their next meal would come from and they worked in the smithy. She had had six seas ...more

I am truly enjoying this series. The novellas are always fun and lovely, with only nice heroes who are know for being kind and decent instead of relishing in a rakish reputation or something like that. Only once in a while does a heroine with a Cause come along, and for some reason I never really enjoy those.

I like the pairing of a hero without a title who works for a living (in a smithy!) and a Duke's sister. If I hadn't already known Felicity from previous books, this would make no sense if y

So here is the next-to-last book in this awesome series and Felicity’s story, the sister of Cole, the Duke from the first book.
This story can be read as a standalone, but read the previous books will not be lost as all the stories were awesome.

I love every book in this series, and this is one of the best. The character's are different then most Recency's romances.
Giles Langford is well liked by all, known as The Curricle King, for his racing and winning. The Ladies swoon over him, the men like his skill. He has not title but has wealth due to his racing. He is happy with his life and his smithy.

After struggling to connect with the characters in the last two installments of the Wicked Duke, I was so concerned that something was wrong with me and I was getting burned out on historical romances. Now, that may be the case, but what I truly needed was Felicity and Giles in my life. I was fond of Felicity in her brother’s book, but spending more time with her story has convinced me that she could be my best friend! I absolutely adored One Night to Remember.

Lady Felicity has a secret. She actually has a few, but this one is more than interesting, it’s somewhat scandalous for a duke’s sister. She’s not just the duke’s sister, but she’s also his carriage mechanic. Not exactly the same as having a talent for needlepoint in the eyes of the stuffy, rule oriented English ton. Felicity is also rather long in the tooth at twenty four and is looking to marry, so this isn’t something she or her brother wants shared with society.

Lady Felicity, sister to Cole, the Duke of Colehaven, is not your typical Lady. At four and twenty, this must be her last season. She has promised her brother she will find a man to wed before the season is over.

Cole and Felicity grew up poor and parentless. They know what it is like to not have a place to call home, food in your belly or clothes to wear. They worked together in a smithy to survive and Felicity has become quite the lady mechanic. Her love of working on carraiges hasn't stopped.
