Really an enjoyable read.

I have even heard it said that fire exhibits most of the proofs of life, the seven biological processes common to all living things: growth, movement, respiration, reproduction, excretion, sensitivity, and nutrition. Now that’s something to consider quietly one evening while watching your living fire!

Full of useful tips and tricks on every aspect of tending a good fire. Rather disappointed on the matter of illustrations and photos mostly coming from stock photography sites. Telling stories about personal experiences all over the globe they could have equally brought more insightful, inspired images and drawings to the book.
