In this exciting sequel to BENEATH...

Stella and Colin search futilely for the rogue Atlantic current that dragged them to the shadowy Underworld just a few months ago. With an ill-defined area to explore, their futile attempts cost too much money and their resources are running out.

When it appears that all hope is lost, a miracle occurs in the form of a retired Hollywood

First off I want to say this is not a stand alone. Its the conclusion to the story started in Beneath. The story picks up 3 months after Stella and Colin managed to escape from The Underworld (a cavern miles under the Atlantic).

For 3 months Stella and Colin have been trying to locate the rogue Atlantic current that dragged them and Colin's family down to the underwater cave where along with the Wexler's there are other survivors. Some having being down there 40 years or longer. Their attempts h

You definitely need to read the first book before reading this one! I devoured this follow up quicker than the first book but it definitely had a lot more unrealistic elements to it, but still, we know it is fantasy. I enjoyed it for the most part, took a little longer to get to any real action but once it did it was pretty much nonstop all the way to the end! It was great right up until that Epilogue. I was loving it despite how much was a stretch of reality but that ending was just so lame aft ...more

I love a good YA adventure novel. Beneath, Horizon Divided is a great addition to my library. The plot is fantastical, but exciting. The characters predictable, but sweet. There are a lot of helpful coincidences, but it still all works. It's not great literature, but it sure was a fun ride. As was the prequel, Beneath. If that sounds like your kind of book, give it a read (but start with book 1).

A tale worth telling

This was an amazing tale and was worth every bit of my time! I would read it again and recommend to everyone. I think it could be combined to make one book and I would even pay more for it! Thank you!

Great story, not just for YA

This is a great story, very adventurous. I know it’s classified as young adult, but that’s only because one of the main characters is 19. This is one of those books that you really miss when you’re done reading it.
