Author: Tracy Lorraine

Review: So this book is part of the same series as Dear Lonely Heart, Dear Mr. Firefighter & Dear Double Team and every single entry I have read in this series so far, I have loved. Dear All-Star Player follows Rose and Seth. Like most of the other women, we have followed Rose is signed up to the matchmaking service by a friend and even though Rose is reluctant she seems to take some comfort in the fact th

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is a book in the Matchmaker series written by a variety of authors. In this book, Rose signs up for the What The Heart Wants Matchmaker agency when she learns they require hand written letters for the matches to contact each other. Rose is a bookworm who was raised by her grandparents after her parents died in an accident and she never really fit in at high school. Rose was bullied by the jocks, especially the star football player, and she had a h ...more

Signing up she wrote her letter and waited to see what would happen. Seth is a professional football player but his career ended due to an injury. One night drinking with his buddies he signed up for the match making services. He completely forgets about it until a letter arrives. Giving in he writes back. Rose and Set ...more
Dear all-star player is a novella that is a part of the matchmaker’s series. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. I liked Rose. She was against the dating apps her best friend used but she liked the idea of writing letters. I liked Seth. His life drastically changed from what it started off with. Whilst a little lost, he remember ...more

For 98% of this book it was getting five stars (the first time I would have given a Tracy Lorraine book five stars) as it was the best book she had written but then the end happened, and it let me down.
I kept saying over and over as I was reading it, please don’t end how I think it’s going to end, please. However, it did, it ended the same way she’s finished the last couple of books. Not everything is about ‘that’, people can live happily ever after without that happening!

What a fantastic series. I have not been disappointed yet. I love the whole old school letter writing the Matchmaking Service insists on. It really brings a different twist to this series. I have enjoyed how each different author has used this tool in putting together their story. This one is made even sweeter as I was able to relate so well with Rose. What a great series idea. They have all been so well done. I just don't feel like there is anyway you can go wrong reading any of the books in th ...more

The jock and the book nerd collide for a sweet romance
This is my 6th book by Tracy and I love an author who writes in dual point of view. Rose’s friend gives her paperwork for an old fashioned matchmaker which actually intrigues her, so she fills the paperwork in and sends it in. Seth is surprised to find he has been matched with someone because his friends submitted the paperwork for him. Seth’s letter to Rose gives her the perfect idea for a gift back to Seth. When the two finally meet, Rose r

A short very well written romance with nice storyline and plot. Likeable well described characters who develops nicely through the story. They have a nice chemistry and passion between them.
I like the mix of humor, sweetness, romantic and emotional twists. They have both been pushed into the matchmaker from friends and both really do not think they miss something until they begin to write and meet each other. I like the banter and that he is not giving up on her despite that she really tries ev

Rose had a rough time in high school. She was picked on by the football team especially by Seth Brady. Flash forward to several years later, she is matched to him by a matchmaker. Seth doesn't recognize her at first but when he realizes who she is, he believes that he has lost his chance. Rose wants to get her revenge for her past but that doesn't stop him from wanting to show her how much he has changed. Will they be able to get over their past

Loved, loved, loved this book ♥♥♥

A great novella in another joint author series. Tracy Lorraine’s talent knows no bounds.

I loved how the dating site worked, with good old fashioned hand written letters going through their office. It’s a fantastic idea for a romance book and series. I also really liked the twist that was added, high school nemesis!! Rose and Seth had a lot of bad history and it all comes to a head when Rose seeks her revenge in the most awesome way ever! Leaving him tied to a be

Dear All Star Player is a fun fast read . Rose's friend thinks she should get into the dating scene so she signs Rose up at an old school dating site. Rose doesn't get to see who sees sending letters to but imagine her shock when they finally decide to meet and she looks into the eyes of her biggest tormentor from high school, Seth. Seth was captain of the football team in high school and has just recently lost his ticket in the NFL. He needs a new beginning. And she needs.... Revenge. But what ...more

High school... How many people have hated high school? Or school in general because of bullies? Well, here is certainly a delicious thought towards revenge... But is revenge as sweet as some say? This is a beautiful romance with a lot of hidden agenda in it, of course most everyone loves HEA and as this one is a romance almost like an old fashioned one without a really bad villain or two, it was just really nice to read and made me laugh a bit as well. All in all quite a quick and easy to read s ...more

Quick and enjoyable book.
High School enemies to lovers.
Dating agency throw them together by pure coincidence.
Seth tormented Rose because of his own securities and never really realized that she was hurting.
His future was playing for NFL but unfortunately it was just the short leave dream. His injuries brought everything to stop.
Rose had lost her parents and stayed with grandparents, never feel secure
Now ,meeting after few and realizing that actually they are not enemies brings out different emo

Wow!! Think this has to be my favourite read off Tracy’s. I loved this story massively.

These characters sucked me in, I loved the feistiness off Rose, I am claiming her as my book girlfriend. I know everyone loves their book boyfriends but Rose, I just fell in love with her.
OMG I swooned so hard over Seth...he’s just a sweetheart. He was able to give me butterflies in my stomach, just from reading him.

I’ve always loved sports romances and this one is brilliant. An enemies to lovers as well...

Perfect little love story.
Dear All Star Player by author Tracy Lorraine was a delicious little novella to spend a Saturday afternoon with. The nerd, Rose who is matched with the one type she doesn’t want to be, a football player, is the football player, Seth. He was a bully to her in high school so she is out to enact some revenge. But, will it have the desired effect?
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and I am leaving this review for your consideration. Happy Valentin

Wow... normally I'm not impress by a short story but this book is beyond my expectation. Rose and Seth was a classmate in high school but he bullied her through those years so I understand why she hates him so much. Even I give this book 5 stars, I enjoy reading it and love an idea when Seth determined to chase after Rose, I still want to know why she changes her mind to go on the second date with him though.

This awesome story of making amends and forgiveness involving a dating site, a match and a second chance with someone from school is well-written, steamy and part of a collection. The main characters are developed, likable and relatable. The H was an all-star football player who had a career ending injury and was a bully to the heroine in their youth. He is determined to win her heart and forgiveness after being matched by a dating site. This is their story.

Seth is a pro-football player who is sidelined due to an injury. Rose is a bookworm who dreams of becoming a writer. Two opposites who have a past join Grace Grahams matchmaker service. As they write their letters they have no idea who the other person is. This is an enemies to lovers sports romance with a good ending and a great addition to The Matchmaker Series. From bully to lover. Not bad. She hated him in high school and as an adult. She held that anger until she got him back for the hurt he caused her. She felt bad after which should have been sign that she needed to let go of the anger. Guess it was enough. She fell for him when she let it go and found happiness. Life really does move on when your bully falls in love with you. Good read

This is the type of story I'm expecting to get from Tracy Lorraine, highly entertaining and well-written with wonderful likable characters complete with flaws and faults but strong enough to overcome them.
I really enjoyed this story, Rose and Seth have a complicated history from school but the chemistry now has them trying to overcome their past.
