Two besties and a baby make for an instafamily and a surprising romance in a delightful series by Melissa Foster, the New York Times bestselling author of the Sugar Lake novels.

Ben Dalton has always been honest, except where his heart is concerned. He’s been in love with his best friend—saucy, smart-mouthed Aurelia Stark—forever. But Ben’s a planner, and timing has never b

Sammi Jayne, why is your response so snarky as if you're offended that Edith is unhappy she paid for something she could have read for free with her Kindle Unlimited membership? The point of paying the $10/month membership fee is to save money. Edith I also have Kindle Unlimited but pre-ordered this book and you're right in that if you pre-order you pay for something you could have downloaded for free if you wait for it to come out. But my experience is that the most really popular authors like Melissa Foster rarely fall into the Kindle Unlimited offer catalogue of free reads. I guess I'll have to be more careful when I pre-order from now on.(less)

He, she, baby bottle and Baby B...A twist on the trope of a handsome but slightly wild single man with a homely best friend ready to come to his rescue when a baby girl arrives on his doorstep in a basket with a note. Mostly the book follows the trope, although a few things are different...

First of all, I wouldn't call Ben Dalton a playboy. Yes, he is a successful (read: rich) businessman, but it all came from a ridiculous amount of hard work and sound planning. I loved the way Ben's father comm

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first installment for the Harmony Pointe series and you will recognize some characters from the Sugar Lake series, and if you are a fan, this story will not disappoint.

Ben and Aurelia have been best friends since they were teenagers and their feelings had grown but they never acted on them as each assumed the other would not feel the same way. Their feelings are tested when Ben discovers a baby on his doorstep with a n
What a fun, sexy, sometimes angsty to the point of tears, wildly romantic friends to lovers story!

Ben and Aurelia have been friends forever. They both want more than friendship but neither knows how the other feels. Ben has wanted to make his move but the timing has always been off. Now, Aurelia has moved to another town and is ready to “start over” and it’s driving him insane. When a baby is left at his front door, she steps in to help and he’s using the unlucky timing to his advantage.

Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews
I’ve heard such good things about Melissa Foster’s books, so I was excited to read Call Her Mine. Two of my favorite tropes—friends to lovers and single dad—in one book! Unfortunately, Ben is also a billionaire—my least favorite trope. But that’s okay—two out of three isn’t bad, right? I certainly won’t say this book is bad, but it didn’t work for me. Aurelia and Ben are both intelligent, successful (billionaire!) people who have been best friends and secretly in love with each other for ages. W ...more

*REVIEW* 🌟🌟🌟1/2

Call Her Mine is definitely a friends to lovers type romance. I enjoyed the story; however, I wish the path to becoming a couple had been a bit more substantial. Ben and Aurelia fall into coupledom rather quickly once the baby appears. They've been friends forever with deeper feeling that neither have confessed. Aurelia wants a fresh start in a ne

Call Her Mine is part friends to lovers part comedy of errors. Ben and Aurelia have been best friends for years, but never told the other how they felt. When a baby ends up on Ben's door, things change fast.

There are some really funny moments, as you can imagine, with Ben and Aurelia trying to handle a newborn. Neither of them have a clue what they are doing. The poopy diapers, the crying at inconvenient times, and the sheer exhaustion lead to some amusing moments! Through the drama of finding

Melissa Foster is a new-to-me author, and even though I'm not a fan of any version of the surprise baby trope (which I'd consider this to fall under), I absolutely adore friends-to-lovers romances, which is what made me request this book. Honestly, I feel like... maybe I shouldn't have, after all, because there is a lot here that just did not work for me at all as a romance novel. First off, I almost quit the book after the first chapter, when Ben continued to call the baby "it" or "that" instea ...more

Okay, so I have been waiting patiently for Ben and Aurelia's story since I met them in the first book of the Sugar Lake Series, I knew there was more then them just being friends going on but I didn't know how it would play out and I have to admit I was shocked by some of it. I will not post any spoilers but I will say that with all the sparks flying between the two of them it was just a matter of time before they crossed the line of friends only.

What a REMARKABLE read! It’s been so long since I’ve read a Melissa Foster novel, and Call Her Mine has brought back all those warm and fuzzies I get from her characters and their stories.

Aurelia and Ben were such great characters and their friends-to-lovers romance gave me SO many feels. I swooned so many times I lost count. I laughed and even cried.

When a baby shows up on Ben’s doorstep their friendship was put to the test but they didn’t falter. It only strengthened that friendship and brou

A great best friends to lovers story with plenty of humour.

These two had been friends for years both with feelings for the other but neither of them brave enough to voice it. Then a baby gets left on the H’s doorstep and then what follows is a story of two people learning how to look after a baby, whilst admitting their own feelings to each other. They were great as a little family and so supportive of each other it made you think what took them so long! The secondary characters were all really

I am a sucker for a friends-to-lovers story, and when our lovelies have been besties forever, it is even more adorable when they finally get together.

Throw in a sexy, new DILF and an adorable bub and I was hooked.

Now, our Ben did pee me off a bit at the start with the way he talked about the baby, but this might just be me, and it wasn't too long before that all changed and went all Papa Bear.

I loved Aurelia and Ben navigating their way to a ne

Melissa Foster can do no wrong in my book. She knows exactly how to weave a tale of two people who both have a love for each other...but think the other isn't interested.

She has them grow up together, see how they fall for others and then watch when the relationships fall apart.

Our guy has been biding his time waiting for the perfect moment to finally approach the woman he really loves, not the here and there one night stands.

Senses collide with heart. Foster takes a dip on the sweet side with a hint of naughty. There's nothing hotter than a father who loves his child. There's nothing cuter than a baby who steals the show. It may not be love at first sight, but Ben is about to get a wake up call. It comes at the hands of a surprise bundle and a life long friend. Aurelia is on the move, just when Ben needs her most. After years of longing, will a baby finally bring these clueless hearts the happy ending they've secret ...more

Adorable. I loved that Ben and Aurelia were friends first. Their chemistry was HOT and their interactions around Bea were so heartwarming. I also loved the fact that the angsty part was not between them but instead they were a united front against a possible bad situation. I really enjoyed this and can't wait for the next book in Harmony Pointe!

Call Her Mine by Melissa Foster is book One in the Harmony Pointe Series. This is the story of Aurelia Stark and Ben Dalton.
Aurelia and Ben have been friends forever but neither knew of the others feeling for them being more. Aurelia never thought Ben felt more for her than their strong friendship. Ben felt like he never got the perfect moment to express how he feels but now Aurelia is planning on moving away to a near by town to open a bookstore. Next thing that happens to them is a baby is le

ahh let me start off by saying that no I did not hate this book, however it was not what I was expecting, and there where some reasons for that. One of the reasons was that I read the reviews previously to reading and so I was expecting more, second was that I haven't read a book from Melissa for years and when I did I wasn't reviewing books (which totally is not important) I know I am rambling now, but my point was that it was a loooong long time ago and I think that my reading has matured some ...more

What did I just read? Why did I keep reading past the first few chapters? That's what I keep asking myself the entire time I forced my way through this book (because I don't like being a quitter). This was a 'new to me' author who I was at least familiar with already, having downloaded a couple of her books before now (just haven't read them). It's obvious after reading this book that the secondary characters were all part of a previous series and at times, some parts fell flat because I had no ...more

This book is a real departure for me, as believe it or not, I've never read a book with a half clothed man on the cover before! However, I had heard good things about this author, and I like trying new things, so I thought I'd give it a go. Question is, am I glad I did?

Well yes, actually I am! The setting is mainly in and around Harmony Pointe where Aurelia has just moved into a new apartment above her soon to be opening bookstore. Harmony Pointe is "just shy of an hour-and-a-half drive from New

Aurelia Stark wants more in her life but she is very particular as to whom she wants to share it with. Ben Dalton gets the shock of his life. Your funny bone is going to be tickled almost from the beginning – at his expense and once in a while at Aurelia’s. The author is great at creating obstacles that at least one of the main characters needs to overcome.

We have a man that seems almost clueless. He seems to be like a tomcat and doesn’t seem to realize that at some point it’s going to catch up

This was my first Melissa Foster book and I can honestly say I was quite pleased. As soon as I read the blurb and a baby was mentioned I was automatically hooked. If you know me, then you know I love books with babies in the story. I’m also a sucker for the friends-to-lovers trope and this one had just that as well. I was thoroughly entertained right from the beginning and really enjoyed this book.

Ben and Aurelia have been best of friends forever. So when Aurelia starts to have her feeling change from friendship to more and Ben seems to be clueless, she decides its time to break the line to her heart and start over in the next town over. A new chapter in her life so to speak.

5 Star review of Call Her Mine (Harmony Pointe #1) by Melissa Foster

I was excited to learn that Melissa Foster was writing a new series.

This is Ben Dalton and Aurelia Stark’s friends to lovers story. Ben has been in love with Aurelia for what seems like forever although she has no idea. Just as Ben decides to make a play for Aurelia, she up and decides to move to Harmony Pointe.

Call Her Mine certainly ticked all the boxes for me. This story had me captivated from the start as I thoroughly enjoy

Ben Dalton is such a great guy. I can see how he would be a girl’s best friend. I can also see falling in love with him whether you think you should or not.

Aurelia knew she couldn’t keep being the “best” friend. Her feelings were too involved. She found a very simple fix. She moved to Harmony Pointe. It wasn’t a huge move but it was enough so that she was not around the corner anymore. Then she spends a night at Ben’s house, very platonically, and is there when the door opens on a baby. Now she

Bravissimo ! Another steamy romantic masterpiece by the talented Melissa Foster. Her writing is like a pianist’s symphony; she can take a story from one end of the keyboard all the way to the other end in a beautiful harmony, a perfect crescendo of emotions! Call her mine made me fall in love with Harmony Point and the Dalton’s once again.
Ben and Aurelia finally get their feelings out in the open but are now stuck in the middle of a crisis. There is never a good time nor a bad time to blurr out

I’ll start by saying I usually love books by Melissa Foster, but this one fell a little flat for me. Ben and Aurelia have been dancing around each other for years, and when she finally decides to move on and moves to another town, then he suddenly decides to finally make a move.

When a baby is dropped off on his doorstep, Ben narrows down the possible mother to four women. He blames sleeping with these women on Aurelia, because she went out on dates those nights. I found that to be a weak excuse
