Two besties and a baby make for an instafamily and a surprising romance in a delightful series by Melissa Foster, the New York Times bestselling author of the Sugar Lake novels.

Ben Dalton has always been honest, except where his heart is concerned. He’s been in love with his best friend—saucy, smart-mouthed Aurelia Stark—forever. But Ben’s a planner, and timing has never b

He, she, baby bottle and Baby B...A twist on the trope of a handsome but slightly wild single man with a homely best friend ready to come to his rescue when a baby girl arrives on his doorstep in a basket with a note. Mostly the book follows the trope, although a few things are different...

First of all, I wouldn't call Ben Dalton a playboy. Yes, he is a successful (read: rich) businessman, but it all came from a ridiculous amount of hard work and sound planning. I loved the way Ben's father comm

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first installment for the Harmony Pointe series and you will recognize some characters from the Sugar Lake series, and if you are a fan, this story will not disappoint.

Ben and Aurelia have been best friends since they were teenagers and their feelings had grown but they never acted on them as each assumed the other would not feel the same way. Their feelings are tested when Ben discovers a baby on his doorstep with a n

Quick and easy best friends to lovers...

Cute best friends to lovers, with a secret baby trope as well. Baby is left at the door, and then it’s chaos and romance from that point on. It’s pretty good. Quick and easy.
What a fun, sexy, sometimes angsty to the point of tears, wildly romantic friends to lovers story!

Ben and Aurelia have been friends forever. They both want more than friendship but neither knows how the other feels. Ben has wanted to make his move but the timing has always been off. Now, Aurelia has moved to another town and is ready to “start over” and it’s driving him insane. When a baby is left at his front door, she steps in to help and he’s using the unlucky timing to his advantage.

Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews
I’ve heard such good things about Melissa Foster’s books, so I was excited to read Call Her Mine. Two of my favorite tropes—friends to lovers and single dad—in one book! Unfortunately, Ben is also a billionaire—my least favorite trope. But that’s okay—two out of three isn’t bad, right? I certainly won’t say this book is bad, but it didn’t work for me. Aurelia and Ben are both intelligent, successful (billionaire!) people who have been best friends and secretly in love with each other for ages. W ...more

I received an eArc version of Call Her Mine by Melissa Foster via Netgalley. When I discovered that it was accessible through Kindle Unlimited to read and listen, I decided on taking the audio route. Hence, my review is geared towards the audio version.

Ben Dalton and Aurelia Stark first came on my radar when they were introduced in the Sugar Lake series. Since then I have been waiting patiently for their story.

CALL HER MINE (Harmony Pointe Book One) by Melissa Foster is a new friends-to-lovers contemporary romance with a secret baby, too. I have never been disappointed in a romance written by this author and this book was no exception.

Ben Dalton is an extremely successful businessman, but when it comes to his love life, he just never seems to get the timing right to get the girl he loves. It seems he has loved his sisters’ friend, Aureli

Call Her Mine is definitely a friends to lovers type romance. I enjoyed the story; however, I wish the path to becoming a couple had been a bit more substantial. Ben and Aurelia fall into coupledom rather quickly once the baby appears. They've been friends forever with deeper feeling that neither have confessed. Aurelia wants a fresh start in a ne

There were some parts of this book I liked and some I didn't. I love books where the hero/heroine has a big family, and we got to see a lot of Ben's family throughout this book. They seem like a great family- and genuine, too. They may not always agree with each other, and they may be different but they will always love and support each other. I was also very surprised about the emotion this book made me feel. I don't want to spoil anything but I will say that it's a beautiful thing to see and * ...more

Melissa Foster is a new-to-me author, and even though I'm not a fan of any version of the surprise baby trope (which I'd consider this to fall under), I absolutely adore friends-to-lovers romances, which is what made me request this book. Honestly, I feel like... maybe I shouldn't have, after all, because there is a lot here that just did not work for me at all as a romance novel. First off, I almost quit the book after the first chapter, when Ben continued to call the baby "it" or "that" instea ...more

Melissa Foster can do no wrong in my book. She knows exactly how to weave a tale of two people who both have a love for each other...but think the other isn't interested.

She has them grow up together, see how they fall for others and then watch when the relationships fall apart.

Our guy has been biding his time waiting for the perfect moment to finally approach the woman he really loves, not the here and there one night stands.

Call Her Mine is part friends to lovers part comedy of errors. Ben and Aurelia have been best friends for years, but never told the other how they felt. When a baby ends up on Ben's door, things change fast.

There are some really funny moments, as you can imagine, with Ben and Aurelia trying to handle a newborn. Neither of them have a clue what they are doing. The poopy diapers, the crying at inconvenient times, and the sheer exhaustion lead to some amusing moments! Through the drama of fin

Call Her Mine was the first book in Melissa Foster’s Harmony Pointe series, but one of many in her Love in Bloom series. It can be read as a stand-alone for full enjoyment. However, if you are a Foster fan and like to take in the “big picture” view, it was closely related to Foster’s Sugar Lake series.

Ben Dalton was the brother to Willow, Bridgette and Talia (Sugar Lake series, books one, two and three). He was a millionaire, an overprotective brother, an OCD like planner and now add potentially

Adorable. I loved that Ben and Aurelia were friends first. Their chemistry was HOT and their interactions around Bea were so heartwarming. I also loved the fact that the angsty part was not between them but instead they were a united front against a possible bad situation. You know those books that you think you know what's going to happen and then...nope. Instead they go and shock you and sock you in the gut all at the same time.

Call Her Mine did that.

You know he finds a baby on his doorstep, it's in the blurb. But the tale of finding said baby's mother and the story of why she left baby B on Ben's doorstep was one I did not expect but I absolutely loved.

And Aurelia and Ben...perfection. They are the perfect mix of real, sweet, honest, hot, and humor. They hone

Okay, so I have been waiting patiently for Ben and Aurelia's story since I met them in the first book of the Sugar Lake Series, I knew there was more then them just being friends going on but I didn't know how it would play out and I have to admit I was shocked by some of it. I will not post any spoilers but I will say that with all the sparks flying between the two of them it was just a matter of time before they crossed the line of friends only.

Senses collide with heart. Foster takes a dip on the sweet side with a hint of naughty. There's nothing hotter than a father who loves his child. There's nothing cuter than a baby who steals the show. It may not be love at first sight, but Ben is about to get a wake up call. It comes at the hands of a surprise bundle and a life long friend. Aurelia is on the move, just when Ben needs her most. After years of longing, will a baby finally bring these clueless hearts the happy ending they've secret ...more

What a REMARKABLE read! It’s been so long since I’ve read a Melissa Foster novel, and Call Her Mine has brought back all those warm and fuzzies I get from her characters and their stories.

Aurelia and Ben were such great characters and their friends-to-lovers romance gave me SO many feels. I swooned so many times I lost count. I laughed and even cried.

When a baby shows up on Ben’s doorstep their friendship was put to the test but they didn’t falter. It only strengthened that friendship and brou

Easy peasy read! Friends to lovers and plenty of laughter, too. First book in a new series with lots of characters introduced that appear headed for their own story.

I was okay with this book -- I enjoyed laughing and the bumbling behavior sharing and learning parenting skills. I thought there was too much repetition in the day-to-day and not enough of the relationship explanations. It felt a little hurried at the end and I was a bit disappointed in the Epilogue -- it just didn't feel as warm an

A great best friends to lovers story with plenty of humour.

These two had been friends for years both with feelings for the other but neither of them brave enough to voice it. Then a baby gets left on the H’s doorstep and then what follows is a story of two people learning how to look after a baby, whilst admitting their own feelings to each other. They were great as a little family and so supportive of each other it made you think what took them so long! The secondary characters were all really

What did I just read? Why did I keep reading past the first few chapters? That's what I keep asking myself the entire time I forced my way through this book (because I don't like being a quitter). This was a 'new to me' author who I was at least familiar with already, having downloaded a couple of her books before now (just haven't read them). It's obvious after reading this book that the secondary characters were all part of a previous series and at times, some parts fell flat because I had no ...more

ahh let me start off by saying that no I did not hate this book, however it was not what I was expecting, and there where some reasons for that. One of the reasons was that I read the reviews previously to reading and so I was expecting more, second was that I haven't read a book from Melissa for years and when I did I wasn't reviewing books (which totally is not important) I know I am rambling now, but my point was that it was a loooong long time ago and I think that my reading has matured some ...more

I am a sucker for a friends-to-lovers story, and when our lovelies have been besties forever, it is even more adorable when they finally get together.

Throw in a sexy, new DILF and an adorable bub and I was hooked.

Now, our Ben did pee me off a bit at the start with the way he talked about the baby, but this might just be me, and it wasn't too long before that all changed and went all Papa Bear.
