What happens when a shy, sheltered virgin wakes up married to the unattainable man of her dreams? It looks like I'm about to find out.

Every other single woman I know would be over-the-moon to wake up married to Dr. Eric Carter. I’m not saying he’s not tempting—because he definitely is—but I just wish I could remember what happened.

Instead of getting an annulment and preten

Taylor Holloway helped turn something I HATE into something I LOVE. Never have I ever enjoyed reading medical romance. Can't even watch a medical drama on TV. Oversexed, dramatization is not entertaining. It's just sad. With A Bad Case of You, Holloway delivers what most medical stories are missing. She packs it with heart. Her characters tempt with witty dialogue and heartbreaking emotion that remind us there's a human element beyond the science. Far from perfect, but these characters hit you w ...more

This book was such a refreshing twist on the whole fake marriage craze that is spreading like wildfire through romance books right now.

The characters were great, including the supporting characters and the attraction between Eric and Faith was believable. There was a strong pull between them physically, but they also enjoyed talking, joking and teasing each other. They just had genuine chemistry all around.

This story was filled with heart! I even shed some tears towards the end, which was compl

A Bad case of you being a spin off from Ryan's story makes me incredibly happy. I kind of wish we could have seen it all come full circle again.

This is now the third book from this author and I really love her work more and more.

Faith is a busy RN taking care of her family and trying to move forward with her career. She works hard, cares and doesn't have an ulterior motive. She just does her best. It's why Eric noticed her to begin with, and why he's been interested in her for months without he

Oh man, I fell in love with this little jewel. It grab me so tight it didn't let go until the last word. If you're looking for a sweet, breathtaking, heartwarming, humorous, beating the odds, love and adoration enhanced read, then look no further. This little baby will rock you right along with the characters as their personalities transform and blend into the roles they were created for. Taylor nailed this bad boy with all the twists and turns bringing us together for a show stopping love that ...more

I really enjoyed this book. It was nice to read a hospital book where the doctors weren't having sex in all the rooms. Now there was some good sex in the book, but most of it was in a bedroom. Eric and Faith were at a party and drank way too much and ended up in Eric's bedroom. The next day (both were still very hungover) they find out what exactly happened. For professional reasons, they kept it quiet, but they got to know each other better and got quite close. Then another bomb hits and it rea ...more

This review is going to be a little different from my usual. I have not had this happen a whole lot in the last few years so it has thrown me just a little. We met Dr Eric Carter and Nurse Faith McNamara in the previous book Hold On To Me by Ms Holloway and I was quite happy that they were the focus of this book. I loved that the doctor had a crush on the nurse but she was gunshy. It was cute and I expected that to at least start out the book. It did to a certain extent. Then, however, things we ...more

Faith is a nurse and Eric a doctor at the same hospital. They are both attracted to each other but Faith doesn't want to become one of the nurses talked about for sleeping with a doctor. However when everyone is together for a party and the drinks are flowing it doesn't take anything to get her to be with Eric. The next morning they wake but don't remember much about what happened the night before until they are called into their boss's office. It seems they got married and because of that they ...more

We have Dr. Hottie (Eric) who has been attracted to Faith for a while now but she is a shy person and these two worked in a religious hospital that fraternization was frowned upon, I could understand that. What I really enjoyed was that even though they were attracted to each other they didn't jump in an on-call room or anywhere else in the hospital which seems to be the norm with medical romances..So these too were at same party, let there hair down and had fun and ended up married..Oops, but t ...more

Really smitten with this storyline.
A Bad Case of You, by author Taylor Holloway, was a wonderful modern day love story that takes place in Austin, TX within the confines of the medical community of a fictional St Vincent’s Hospital. Resident Eric and Nurse Faith wake up together after a New Year’s Eve Party and are soon surprised by what went on at that party when they are told by the CMO and the Bishop. From then on it’s misunderstandings, assumptions, that are thrown at the couple for the nex

Wow I absolutely loved this story the characters are very relatable and they have hot sizzling chemistry as a matter of fact everything in this story seems relatable it’s like you would have these people as neighbors, and this is Faith’s and Eric’s story. There’s nothing like waking up in the morning with a gorgeous man in your bed and a ring on your finger and you can’t even remember how it got there. They both decided to stay fake married but how are you going to be able to convince your mothe ...more

I just loved this book Faith and Eric are great characters in this fake/accidental marriage romance , getting married whilst drunk is never a good idea but that's what these two do Faith wants to end the marriage but then they are offered promotions to run a new hospital unit ,so that makes Eric want to stay married until their boss retires , but will they pull it off and will they get their HEA , it's a well written book with a great storyline and characters that hook you from the first page to ...more

Really enjoying this series! The stories are great, the characters are awesome, and the writing is very entertaining. These two work together, but that's all it can ever be, or is it? As we go with these two we learn that while we may feel strongly about things, sometimes meeting the person meant for you can cause those feelings to change. This is a great story about a boy who didn't believe in marriage and a girl who wanted exactly that. A night they can't remember changed everything. Really lo ...more

Is a mistake still a mistake if you want it?

This concept is dealt with through the detailed lives of two awesome characters. Well written and with a detailed and obviously superbly researched background, this story is not easy to put down. In fact, I didn't put it down, instead losing myself for hours on a Saturday and escaping into another world.

For you romantics, the emotions range from sweat, through heart break and into steamy. A truly lovely, easy to read, romance.

Faith and Eric have been attracted to each other for awhile but haven't done anything about it. Until one day when they wake up married with no recollection of how that happened. Eric and Faith decided to keep up appearances with friends and family. But what will happen when they want to make it real? This is an entertaining story about putting up a good fight before finally admitting what you really want and claiming it. Hope you like it

These two have had a chemistry since they met, but neither have pursued that bond until a drunken night led them to make some rash decisions in their lives. They go along with what they’ve done to keep the promotions they were given, but end up getting closer as the time goes on. Their love is a slow burn that sneaks up and grabs them both, and neither want to admit it. I loved this story and cannot wait for more from Taylor.

One thing you can count on with Taylor, you are going to get an incredible read that puts you in a bear hug and don't let you go until that last letter and characters that demand to be released into your life. You want to know these characters and pray they beat the odds that sometimes life and love like to throw at you.

Written very well and like I said commands your attention.

4 1/2 Stars
This Doctor/Nurse romance was especially sweet because of Eric’s POV. I liked the way the author had Eric’s voice pretty sensitive and not an arrogant player.
A bit of drama with a fake marriage, a baby, and a romance between Faith’s mother and their boss.
Moderately paced with a lot of emotional epiphanies, especially when dealing with the baby!

This is the first story in Ms. Holloway's "Soulmates of St. Vincent" series. If the rest of the series is as wonderful as this read, we are in for a real treat. This story deals with an "accidental" marriage to a doctor. The characters are likable and easy to relate to. The overall story-line "flows" and is well written. With each new book Ms. Holloway continues to "come in to her own" as a writer.

Great book! I love the previous series by Taylor Holloway and so pleased to see her easy, but super steamy, writing style correlates over to this one. Whether it be serious situations or witty banter, she does an amazing job with her books!

I absolutely adored this book! It had the right mixture of characters, situations, story line, heat, and ending that made it absolutely perfect.

5 outta 5 for me!

This is a well written book with an entertaining story line. The characters are well developed and the story flows fluidly. The author does a great job building the story , filling it with drama, suspense and tons of emotions. It was fun watching them try to fool family and friends and listening to their dialogue. I enjoyed reading their story.

Oh I definitely loved this latest book by Taylor Holloway! I stayed up late just to finish it. I really couldn't put it down. Eric and Faith work alongside each other at the hospital. Eric is a doctor and Faith a nurse. Their chemistry is off the charts hot. After getting drunk these two wake up married- If only Faith could remember. They agree to pretend to family and friends its real but how long will it stay pretend?

Imagine waking up and find that you're married to a gorgeous doctor and can't remember a thing. For job protection, they agree to go along with a fake marriage for several months. Plenty of drama and suspense as they try to fool family and friends. Cute characters and an entertaining story that was fun to read. I read a reader copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review. It's always nice when fake becomes real.

Enjoyable read. You have two people that like each other but do nothing about it until they actually do. Its nice to just be impulsive sometimes. They did and it worked out for them because they both wanted the same thing. Taking that chance might actually be good.

So good! Take one Dr and one nurse who have been avoiding the attraction between them for a year and add in champagne and New Years Eve and what do you get? You get a newly married couple with only a vague memory of what happened! Not only that, they both got promotions in honor of their marriage! This is a sassy, funny, sweet tale of second chances, understanding and's just fabulous!
