**'Writers should not get too comfortable with cliches like terrible books only appease to readers who enjoy them or really good books are enjoyed more by those readers who appreciates them -- this is not logical because they cannot coexist...'

WOW!

The family relationships are getting stronger but there are still a lot of complicated family dynamics to deal with. Plans must be rearranged, boundaries are tested and Lizzie and Sarah have to cope with conflicts they can't always resolve. I love their challenges, the tough conversations, the crazy Petries and the colorful friends. Again the author did a terrific job with this sequel and I highly recommend this series.

More fun with Lizzie!

Lizzie is trying to find a sense of normality following the antics of a Petrie family Christmas, but as usual life is anything but simple for Lizzie. Planning her future with Sarah, while factoring in the consequences and demands put upon her as a result of her family actions, Lizzie is trying to keep everything together while not inviting any further complications to cause her further stress than she is already enduring.

I love every second I get to spend with Lizzie because there is never a dull moment. Not only is Lizzie great entertainment, her reactions and view of the world and events that cross her path but her family just bring drama, complications, and the unexpected. I feel for Lizzie. She has no idea what is awaiting her and when it hits it is just never that simple, but that is what I love about her.

Lizzie’s character development throughout the A Woman Lost series astounds me. When I think how she was when I was first introduced to her to what she is like now and how she handles everything, she has come a long way. I am thoroughly enjoying her journey and seeing how the crazier her life gets the better she is getting at dealing with everything, and yet it feels like she hasn’t changed a bit. Still the Lizzie I know and love, just growing into something more.

I am really excited for the future and to read the next installment of Lizzie’s story. I have no idea what the future holds for her but I have one guarantee, I know it is going to be fun (maybe not for Lizzie, but for us readers!).

Lizzie was awesome in this one

This one picks up a couple days or so after Christmas and goes all the way to the end of the spring semester. A lot happens in this book and I wonder if the series is wrapping up. The Miracle Girl makes an appearance in this book for those of you who have read or are reading that series.
Ok...so I absolutely loved Lizzie's word vomit in this book because everything pretty kuch comes to light. When she had it I found myself saying FINALLY!!! I did find that there was a lot of repetition in this book that fans who have been reading the series could have done without (ie the treatment of Lizzie by her family). I do wonder what will happen to Demi because of something Peter had mentioned to Lizzie. Regardless, this story moves along quickly and I am very interested to see what happens next for everyone in the series.

I sure do love the Petrie family, how they rally together through all the drama that comes their way. It's really sweet.

This is one of the best in the series. It is the continuation in the life of Lizzie and Sarah Petrie covering several months after the disastrous Christmas. This one includes wonderful conversations between Lizzie and Sarah showing how they care, support and tease each other when there is chaos in peoples lives around them. A good deal of heat between the two is included too. They have their twins and are caring for their niece as well. Peter is preparing for prison, Lizzie has an additional job prospect, trouble in Maddie’s relationship etc. I like that this one focuses more on the two MCs even though everyone gets some time. This has humor, warmth, heat and a little angst from friends. Lizzie is more confidant than the person she was at the beginning of the series and I like that she can see the change in herself.

Wow - my head had exploded by the end of page 3, by 10 I knew I was doomed. I'd left 5 months between finishing Book 5 and starting Book 6 and I was totally lost - needed a venn diagram, five different coloured chalks and a degree in genology to even to start to understand all the characters....

These novels continue to have some intangible element that draws me in and continues to demand my attention; I don’t know what it is, but I like it. If I was going to only say one thing it would be that this was a compelling read that I tore through, enjoyed, and then immediately grabbed the sequel. Objectively it wasn’t the best novel I have read, it won’t be on my favorite list, however I am certain that I will be reading the rest of the series right away. Sounds confusing? Welcome to the club! I recommend this entire series to basically anyone and everyone. READ THE SERIES IN ORDER!

I continue to like each novel more than the last. I think this is because there is now a strongly established foundation from the previous novels for each subsequent to build on; there are very detailed and fleshed-out characters right from page one that continue to grow and change. By this point there is a complex web of family dynamics that has crossed fully into soap opera territory (but in a good way), and yet the author manages to make the over-the-top-dramatics somehow realistic and plausible. Excellent work.

This is a very fast and easy read, that was a compelling page turner, and has me very invested. This series is filled with so many little hooks that grab your attention and keep you reading. Each novel has enough plot, action, and resolution to keep you satisfied while also leaving unresolved questions that make you dive into the next one.

What continues to impress me is how the author has me feeling conflicting emotions for characters as the drama unfolds. It demonstrates how complex, nuanced, and realistic they are, just like real people. By this point everyone is complicated, to put it mildly. The ongoing character development is the standout of this series.

This book picks up where the last one finished, my problem is I have no interest in Peter, so I didn’t find that storyline particular enjoyable. Unfortunately it got worse as I was also getting fed up with Maddie and Gabe and to be honest I found the book was a bit repetitive and the soap opera relationships quite boring.

This series is so much fun to read. Lizzie's family of origin is complicated and messy and growing. I can’t get enough of Lizzie and Sarah and their friends. Lizzie has grown so much. This series and just this book are full of romance, angst, humor, friendship and family. The couple had new family crises to cope with in this volume, and Lizzie has new personal challenges to meet. I enjoyed seeing her blossom into a more confident woman, albeit still with some discomfort.

The title made me anticipate something other than what happened in the book. I kept wondering and fearing what would make Lizzie feel undone, but as the book progressed, I could see new meanings in the title. The ending left me wanting more. I’m excited about the crossover with JJ.

This installation was closer to a 3.5 for me. It started out a bit slow for me. More love scenes and dealing with Lizzie neurosis. It picks up in the end with a twist and some supporting character drama. Lizzie does lose it in this one and it was comical to read her become socially unhinged. Can’t wait to see what happens with the Petries in the next installment.

This is the sixth instalment of the Woman Lost series by T.B. Markinson, as I’ve mentioned before, it is undoubtedly one of my very favourite series. I was waiting for this book eagerly, after the cliffhanger Markinson left us in the previous book. I was completely hooked from the first page, but what’s not to love when you open a novel regarding the Petries? As usual, Markinson is brilliant.

I absolutely loved this book! I totally love and will never get tired of Lizzie’s inner dialogues and quirks, can’t get enough of the craziness that seems to always reach the Petrie family, the intrigue, the love, and all the familiar and beloved characters we all know so well by now that get right into your heart. It’s easy to feel part of the family by now. I knew was going to be as grand as the others, and I was right. Life with the Petries is never boring and always quite mind opening.

It's not a secret I love Lizzie since book 1. Has been marvellous to witness her development and growing through out the books. But in this one, it's fantastic to see how much she has grown. It's interesting to see ironically how the others crumble around Lizzie, and now she is the one they seek for advice.

Loved and enjoyed the book greatly. Also there are a couple of invited characters, I won't spoil the surprise, you must read to find out. But I found it very entertaining and I was glad to see these characters taking a part in Lizzie's crazy life.

TB didn’t disappoint and the storyline moved along flawlessly, as expected was well written and paced, unravelling the complicated, interesting characters we all love, and having always a good balance while keeping the tension.

I’m ready for the next smart and funny adventure with the Petries. It's always a treat being around them; the intricate, complicated, impossible situations they get themselves into. Their story always worth the ride.

I highly recommend not only this book, but the entire series.

I received an ARC copy of the book from the author and voluntarily leaving my review.

Out of all the characters that Markinson has put in her books Lizzie Petrie is by far the best. To say that Lizzie grew up in a highly dysfunctional family describes her family of origin in kind terms. Her parents and her brother were incredibly dismissive, cruel, and downright mean to Lizzie. As soon as she left her parents home she worked very hard to become the woman she is today. Part of that motivation was falling in love with Sarah who became her wife. The people who have abused and used Lizzie throughout her life now come back to her and look to her for guidance. All Lizzie wants to do is enjoy her wife and their two children while they plan on a third child. In the mist of Petrie dysfunction Lizzie and Sarah inherit another one year old as they care for Lizzie's brother one year old child as he gets ready to go to jail. When Lizzie has had enough of the craziness that her family leaves at her feet she has a moment where she tells everyone just how terrible they have been to her, including her supposed friend Maddie. I was so proud of Lizzie during this moment because it showed her true growth and the confidence she has in her self. I had been waiting a whole series for her to tell Maddie how terrible she is and how reprehensible her Family has been to her. After this explosion will things settle back down and change for the Petrie family and will Lizzie and Sarah be able to raise their family in an era of peace ?
I highly recommend this book because it shows the mastery that Markinson has in her ability to develop her characters, she's brilliant at it.

A Woman Undone is now my new favorite story in the A Woman Lost series! I was thrilled to see that Markinson introduced the main characters from The Miracle Girl series into this book. (If you haven’t read The Miracle Girl, don’t fret. You can still follow the story line quite easily.) I love how Lizzie keeps evolving in these stories. In A Woman Undone, Lizzie is pushed out of her comfort zone and I love how she reacts! Sarah remains her rock, as always, but in this story we begin to see a shift. As their relationship matures and the daily responsibilities of parenting begins to solidify them as a couple, Sarah begins to recognize that Lizzie is an anchor for her, too. She isn’t always the “clueless one” that Sarah fell in love with a few years back. Sometime she’s leveled headed and wise, doling out advice to family and friends as they come calling for help. Lizzie loves her family and friends, but at times she does find herself at her wit’s end and nearly coming undone. I highly recommend this series and this book! Read it; you won’t be disappointed!

Oh, this one was full of surprises!

No matter how complex the family's dynamics are, you can see how their connection is getting better and stronger.

This is set a couple of days after A Woman Loved and a lot of it is about consequences and growing (as a person, as a family and THE family :P ) and it's done in such a way that you can't help laugh because Lizzie's inner thoughts are hilarious but she IS right. Most of the time, anyway. *grins*

And we see how the relationship between Lizzie and Sarah is evolving, too. Lizzie is still a little bit awkward in social situations, but she isn't clueless anymore. Sarah is still the one who can anchor her, but we can see how Lizzie is becoming Sarah's rock, too.

This is another lovely story in the series, and I can't recommend it enough :D

Stephanie Murphy is still doing a wonderful job with the narration.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, total chaos in the Petrie family.

The title is aptly named because Lizzie snaps! Not once, not twice, but three times. Even her beloved Sarah couldn’t escape one of Lizzie’s “I'm Tired of All This Shit” speeches. And it’s about time! Lizzie is surrounded by drowning in drama caused by those she considers family and close friends. Ode to the days when life was simpler like fighting Graves' disease and being blackmailed by an abusive, alcoholic ex-girlfriend.

Honestly, this story made me feel as if everyone (except Ethan, the nannies, and the kids) has/is taking advantage of or disrespecting Lizzie in some way. Think about the following long list:
- your wife throws you under the bus in front of everyone to prove a point,
- your brother has been a prick to you most of your life and had an affair under your roof with your best friend,
- this same best friend is putting you in an awkward position with your stepbrother that you are growing close to,
- your siblings are willing to go to bloody blows while your kids are at home, and
- your Tie-phoon of a sister-in-law is MIA, leaving you and your pregnant wife to take care of her daughter in addition to your own kids.

Yeah, I'd be undone too. Here's hoping Lizzie receives more lovin' in the last book of the series, A Woman Complete.

Words are merely a group of letters, until someone organizes them in a profoundly entertaining and orderly manner and weaves them into a story around charismatic characters. T.B. Markinson has an ability to do just that.
I am truly elated, that with each book in this series, the personalities of Lizzie and Sarah just burst from the pages in the form of witty banter and heartwarming conversations. There are so many thoughts, sentences, paragraphs within A Woman Undone that will have you thinking, “oh, I like that thought” or “oh, that’s good”…at least I had many moments like that as I read on.
I love how Markinson allows Lizzie’s character to mature and grow, and yet remain as quirky as she was when she was first introduced in A Woman Lost. I cannot wait for the next chapter in Lizzie and Sarah’s life, and the entire Petrie family…I just know that there has to be more to the adventure!

Out of the 8 currently in the series, this is my 2nd favorite (1st is the #1). The sarcastic 1-2 line zingers just seemed to come outta everywhere in this book. The responsibility that Lizzie shoulders, and the growth that Maddie has to go through are my favorites. Yes, I really want a Maddie spin-off. I mean, who doesn't love it when a secondary character has such a web of connections to other characters?

Awesome series

This series is so heartfelt, honest, real, funny, and amazing. I absolutely identify with Lizzie who at first was so aloof and endearingly clueless, but now has rounded out to become dependable and sage. You will not regret getting every book in this series. The characters exude warmth, delight, and down-to-earth goodness.
Sarah is the wife every Les-bi-an (lol) hopes for! Maddie is that friend we all have who tells it like it is. Ethan is that bookworm who shoots straight but is lost when it comes to self. These are just a few of the gang. An Ah-ma- ZING series that I can't get enough of. Just gets better and better each book!

As true to her writing this book is highly enjoyable

Once again the petries have struck a cord of confusion into the lives of Lizzie and Sarah.!the drama was a constant I the storyline, there was some drool humor, mostly attempted by Lizzie. But true to form some good things were written that made this book highly interesting and enjoyable. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Still Enjoyable !!

I have thoroughly enjoyed The Woman Lost series and hope it continues. There are just so much that can be told as the ever growing family emerges. Once again the relationship between Lizzie & Sarah shows that love and support is still alive. Once again T.B. you captured the relationship we all aspire to have.

A good installment.

Sarah and Lizzie are at it again. This book was a little peak into their lives and their growing family. The dialogue between the ladies was filled with humor in the middle of a few family blowouts. Maddie and the crew are still part of the chaos. This is a great series. Start from the beginning at book 0 and stick with it.

Wonderful!

I certainly hope that this isn't the final book of Sarah and Lizzie's story. This series captured my attention in the Prequel and I have been riveted since then. Lizzie's family puts the capital D on Dysfunctional families. T B Markinson has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Be sure to check out any of her books, as they all belong on your must read list.

Loved it!

I'm on a reading binge to read the entire series. Have loved them all, but never put in a review. Great story line
Book 5 was great with lots of chuckles.
Book 6 I had me with tears rolling down my face with laughter in quite a few parts of the book. I will never think of a shrimp cocktail and a chocolate cake without laughing.
Now for book 7
