A must read for any teacher making the transition to an administrative position. This book is full of helpful hints, ideas and checklists. Most importantly, the author reminders that it’s ok to be unsure, but it’s not ok to let this paralyze you, everyone is unsure to start.

I wasn’t looking for advice on the value of my eating breakfast on a Sunday morning or her experience of transitioning into purple hair as a school leader. There wasn’t a lot of the kind of information I was looking for when I bought this book.

I think this is a great book for those wanting to go into a more administrative role, there were some good facts and information to consider, even as an almost first-year teacher, but it's on me for not realizing this book as for teacher to administrate about it being a better leader as a teacher.
