I kept thinking of the movie, "Bridget Jones's Diary" as I devoured this book. Hill's adventures in dating kept me reading, laughing, and turning yet one more page to find out what could possibly happen next. I was hooked from the beginning when her first-ever wanna-be boyfriend called her house. I couldn't stop giggling. I think the author wrote this book expecting the reader to be enthralled with her, as she seems to be with herself. This reader didn’t find her book particularly compelling. Virtually every story falls into one of two categories:

(1) There was this hot guy who was dying to have me. We got together, then I realized I was better than him.
(2) There was this lame guy who was dying to have me. I already knew I was better than him, but I dated him anyway.
