Four Dragon Guards. Three Curses. Two Heirs. One Choice… Forbidden love or the throne of the dragons?
Isola Dragice thought she knew what her future would bring. Only, one earth-shattering moment destroys everything.
When war threatens her home, Isola returns from earth to the world of dragons she knows nothing about, and to Dragca Academy. When the four most powerful dragon guards in history are ordered to protect her, they didn’t expect to be protecting an accident prone princess. One who, accidentally, nearly kills her whole class at Dragca Academy in her first week.
What happens when fire falls for Ice?
Books one to five in the Protected by Dragons series (RH & 18+)- Wings of Ice (Book One) Wings of Fire (Book Two) Wings of Spirit (Book Three) Wings of Fate (Book Four) Wings of Dragca (Book Five) Including exclusive to the collection bonus scenes.
G. Bailey is a USA Today bestselling author of books that are filled with everything from dragons to pirates. Plus, fantasy worlds and breath-taking adventures. Oh, and some swoon-worthy men that no girl could forget. G. Bailey is from the very rainy U.K. where she lives with her husband, two children and three cheeky dogs.
This is one of my favorite series by G. Bailey. There is a such an amazing world build that happens and she is able to include characters from past series that we live. Having the whole series in one place to read is amazing. Plus we get BONUS content of things to come. I can’t wait to see the continuation of this world.
The Protected by Dragons series is one amazing and epic series, which has been combined into the Wings of Ice and Fire Collection. In addition to book 1-5, there’s also some bonus content.
Isola Dragice is a brilliant character who will have you addicted to this collection. The emotions and adventure that Isola and her Guardians take in the battle of Light and Dark, is one that you will find is over far too soon.
I highly recommend Wings of Ice and Fire Collection.
Note: a lot of G Bailey’s series interconnect, which I think is a brilliant concept.
Book 1 One sitting read. Love the ice vs fire in the story. The development of the relationship(s) of Isola and her guardians was well done. It had enough build-up that it wasn't an instant relationship with each of them. Twist at the end I didn't see coming, I thought it was someone else. Prophecy is of course vague but I still tried to figure it out. Really enjoyed the tree spirit in the story even though it was a small part. Hope she becomes more in the next one. Cliff hanger ending.
Book 2 I was torn between a 3 and 4 mainly because the 2nd book is similar to the first due to Isola and her guard getting to know each other again. This time it is a humans in the human world. Yes, it was a little different because they didn't have their powers but to have a whole book for them to get their memory back and get to know her again seemed a bit redundant right after the first. I decided on the 4 star because of Thorne's part in the story and the ending section. Still a good story but was hoping for more.
Book 3 This one was 100% action packed with some new characters introduced. Her guard is by her side along with Melody and Bee. I like the group together. Thorne is still my favorite!
Book 4 Another action packed one with some familiar characters popping in to assist. Liking the crossover. I was 50/50 on the shower scene. Wasn't horrible but voyeurism isn't my cup of tea. Ended on cliffhanger based around the throne and one of her guards.
Book 5 Great, action packed finale. I do wish we saw Isola with her guardians a bit more romantically. Enjoyed the crossover with Winter.
Extras - The extras were a fast catch up. Wish I could have read more about the birth. Looking forward to their stories.
This box set is a must have for the G. Bailey fan. As always Gem creates a world that immerses you in a world that is addictive and consuming, Always needing to know what happens next, with revelations, danger, love and just a plain old good time. In the Wings of Ice and Fire collection we get Isola Dragonice, who is a fun character who fights for what she believe in, and the her loves. I always enjoy a good fiercely loyal female lead. Also the cameos of crossover characters from other series is always fun, and a neat way to catch up on the characters you know and love. If your a G. Bailey fan, this is a must. If your a Paranormal Rh fan, this set is a must read. Overall if your a good book fan, this series is for you.
Protected by Dragons is an amazing series following Princess Isola as she sets out to save her people from the ultimate evil, and falls in love with her dragon guards along the way. This series is full of action, adventure, and lots of romance! G Bailey is a talented author who not only created Isola's amazing story but also introduced these characters to Winter and her mates, effortlessly merging these storylines with familiar characters, enemies, and plots. This boxset brings the entire series together and even includes some great bonus content giving us looks at Isola and her child's future! Can't wait to read future books in the Winter/Isola worlds!
I loved this series and now it’s in a boxset!!! Follow Isola on her journey to reclaim her throne and meet her true mates in Dragca. There is loads of love, adventure, drama and revelations. This boxset gives you the whole series for one low cost, so why not! Gem Bailey has also been kind enough to include two excerpts about Emery, Isolas daughter, who is destined to become a new Fate! Although if you’re as addicted as I am to Gem’s book then you don’t need the added enticement.
I really loved the concept of this book the dragons and the shifting was really interesting and I thought the storyline had loads of potential, but the characters bored the life out of me and I found them to have no personality other than how into each other they were. We’re told the Isola loves reading and apart from that that’s all we really knew about her. She was weak and annoyed me so much. I found myself skimming a lot. Certain things felt out of place, when her head should have been in the game she was too busy fretting over her mates. She just wasn’t as badass as I would have liked.
Protected by Dragons books 1-5 in a box set, no more finding the individual books, haha, plus a couple of newly added bonus scenes which won't disappoint. We saw Winter & her family making appearances in Protected by Dragons series now & then, now she is in 1 of the bonus scenes in Wings of Ice and Fire Collection (which Winter & her guys have their own series called Her Guardians). We, also, get a first look into a spin-off of a spin-off, I definitely can't wait to read that.
G. Bailey is known for building characters in worlds we know, earth, and new worlds we are invited into. This tale is no different in the complexity of characters and suspense and mystery. The Queen and the other Queens lead the reader through every emotion all the way through to the finale. Adult romance. Warning: you will be up all night and unable to put the books down to sleep. Tea helps get you through it.
I loved all of the books from this series! They were all equally intriguing and so well written. The guys were a lot of fun! Isola goes through this huge metamorphosis and comes out so much stronger and capable. If you love dragons and evil villains, this should be your next read! It's one captivating page turner 💝
I loved this series and barely did anything but read these books for days so well worth getting the set. G.Bailey is quickly becoming my favourite author to read at the moment. Loved the crossovers in this series which are great if you have read G.Bailey’s other series’s. Isola is a strong FMC which I loved and the whole series was really well written!
Wow. I had not read this story before it came out in a box set. I’m so glad I waited. It was awesome not having to search for the next book and it being a page turn away. The story is well thought out. It doesn’t drag on and is fast paced. I love the characters. They all had their own personality which is great to have in a book. I look forward to reading more from the spin offs!
I fell in love with Isola and her men from the first book. This collection allows me to escape into their world over and over without having to move through 5 different books, plus the bonus story is amazing. I will be reading this again and recommending it to others.
This is an amazing boxset! This is one of my all time favorite series from G. Bailey and I love that everything was put together like this.. PLUS there is bonus content at the end. So even if you have read this series you should still check this out for the bonus stuff! Seriously it's worth it!
I recommend reading Her Guardians first before reading this one because the main characters in it have a big role in the end half of this series. The books are amazing! For ages 18 +. It really shows a young womens struggle and cluelessness that can be related. But also that even a queen cannot do things by herself.
First of I live this series, it moved along quickly and his all my emotional buttons. I was also so pleased at how she tied Winter into the story as well. I can't wait to see what 'Fate' awaited Lucian and Emery. It is always nice to see our favorite characters bleed over into the next storyline.
I love dragons, so this series was great! Having them in one file was great because I didn't have to wait and I devoured these novels. If you love dragons, adventure, and steamy romance, you won't want to miss this collection!
I did review each book separately on my social media sites, if you are wanting more details about each book and what I thought of them :)
Amazing boxset! You will binge-read this series! If you love magic, dragons, RH, and fighting for a purpose this is the series for you! It also links to other worlds within G. Bailey's other series! Which I love seeing the cross from other books!
So excited to see the entire Protected by Dragons series all in one place! These books are where it's at if you adore dragons, action, turmoil and heart-stopping love as much as I do. There's some special content at the end, too, that is oh so worth it!
Isola and the guys face so much in this series. It’s heartwrenching reading what they go through and experiencing their love, and hardships! This box set has all of the books plus extra bonus material at the back so it’s worth getting this to read that new content!
Was sorry to see this series end. Each book brought you further into the world of dragons and we even got to see characters from another series. Loved how the stories flowed from one book to the next and this box set gave us the added bonus ending as well as a sneak peak to a spinoff.
I can not praise this series enough! It is totally binge worthy material and over an amazing series. Each book is equally captivating and entails so many great scenes with characters that are unique and easy to fall in love with. This is a series I will always come back to reread!
Isola’s a princess, a dragon princess. This young girl fights for her loved ones, makes unlikely friends, finds family she didn’t know she had and to make it harder fights an enemy no one should have to fight. But this book shows love conquers all.
This is one of my favorite series by Bailey. Isola and her guys have quite the rollercoaster of adventure, betrayal, and romance. In addition to all 5 books in the series, this box sets gives us a few extras too!
Ok so I did love most of it ! I loved the guys and the over all story for sure !! I wish there was more steamier scenes ! And it dragged on just a little up and didn’t have a mind blowing ending but it was good for sure !
I loved this series and actually waited until they were all out before I read it. I have to be able to read an entire series if I begins one. This was such a great series and if you love G. Bailey you will absolutely love this one!
This is a remarkable box set. I really enjoyed reading this series. I love how the author has developed a world of dragons that goes with the earth paranormals. I can’t wait to read more on the characters and the story from this author.
Admittedly it took me a lot longer than it usually would for me to get into the first book. However once submerged into the second book I found the flow and thoroughly enjoyed the story, the characters and the tie in to other series.
Omg what a series has so much in it different paranormal beings and so much mode could not put it down needed to no what was going to happen. absolutely loved it
