I bought the secondhand copies of the first two volumes of this series. Let's see what will turn up!
Rating: 3.5 stars.
I am always curious about the Fate series and its many stories, the two series I had read in the past are satisfying so I picked up Fate/Grand Order vol. 1.
So far what we know is that humanity is doomed and if the MCs fail to go back in time and 'correct' history then everyone is going to die. Then a number of historical/mystical figures are thrown in as the 'spirits' to fight alongside the MCs.
The characters design is good, the plot is....there are a few plot twists but I still have yet to see some signature mind-fucks. XD
The art is dicey and a bit cringey at times especially where Mash is concerned—there’s a certain panel of Mash where she’s all boobs and no neck that haunted my nights until this very day—but the storyline and the characterisation saved the day. I especially like Ritsuka’s characterisation (and Romani!! my doctor Romani!!!), he’s very much how I imagined him to be.
Yes, I can’t wait for the second volume to be translated!
Good adaptation, I'm comparing this volume with F/GO mortalis:stella volume 1. Mortalis:stella has a better art style, but in story aspect, I like Turas Realta more. I love there's some comedy in Turas Realta adaptation. My favorite part in this volume when Mash is encouraged by Fujimaru to active her NP and Olga Marie got more character development.
