I never expected to absolutely love this book that much. Many ppl recommended the writings of the author as He is known for being a satirist and a comedy writer. But after reading this book I believe he is much more and there is more than the eye beholds.
I identified in various aspects with the female characters, the philosophical monologues were written beautifully. The author managed to strike the balance between the internal monologues, philosophical ideas and the storyline.
There was humor but I truly loved his approach towards such a sensitive topic here in Egypt and which we can safely say most ppl treat it as a taboo.
The author doesn’t dictate a certain belief or a set of beliefs but explores and analyzes them. Many of his ideas I believe in and I truly appreciate that he decided to speak about it.
The book is amazing despite the grammatical and punctuation errors which in any book might trouble me but because the book was written via colloquial Arabic it didn’t affect very much the flow of reading
Definitely recommend it
