This was an odd one. Short but solid story.
A story teaching that people change and not always for the better.
Or maybe that the power corrupts.
Or maybe that morals are grey most of the time.
Every now and then I try to get into the shorter fiction, something that isn’t a novel but it’s very difficult to get into.
Just when I start to figure out characters, it’s over. Well, back to novels it is.
