This is a more modern take on a ghost anthology. I think that I personally prefer a more classic tale; and may stick to older collections now but it was a lovely read!! Not likely to ever revisit this book however.

Wow! If I'm honest the first in this collection, a gruesome body horror, was not exactly my cup of tea. However the other two stories were utterly amazing. Windows into fascinating worlds is live to read more about, especially the masquerade like Venetian city conjured up by the outstanding Martin Hall. A further collection of short stories set here would just be incredible, I'd love to see more of the history, other Great Families and the rest of the world.
