I received this book, for free, in exchange for an honest review.

I had mixed feelings about the author prior to reading this book so I am a bit biased. I feel that Dave is cutting edge and has communicated many important health practices. That being said, he often feels kind of like Dr. Oz or similar personalities in that he often recommends things that seem to benefit him via his product lines. This book did have a bit of that which my cynical mind was looking out for (he suggested rinsing with

Some great content, and the chapter summaries were very helpful. I would have loved to see a ranking of bio-hacks at the end given there's such a large number of things to try and the variable costs involved. Something like "If you can only afford X..."

So much promise on many techniques and supplements that it's exciting to apply preventatively for a healthy amazing life. So called biohacking is a great approach to fill the gap in a system where doctors are not incentivized to truly get to the root of issues and get beyond what the book refers to as average. It's a great resource for what's on the edge as a starting point.

This covers a lot of good stuff to try that's emerging and not part of our focused on disease and not performance focused

Summary of his best work

For those that are familiar with Dave and his work, this book may seem a bit redundant. However, it offers an abundance of resources that are neatly organized. Best of all, he gets directly to the point and empowers you to do your homework on the subjects that you are interested in.

SPECTACULAR! By far one of the most incredible books I have ever read in my entire life. The writing from Dave Asprey is put together so well that I couldn’t stop reading not just for the fact of the interesting information, but also the honest and down to earth way the book was organized.

I have taken more notes while reading this book than any class in college, or any book prior. I plan to use the lessons I have learned in this book to not only share with everyone in my life, but also apply to

I'm a big fan of Bulletproof coffee and Dave in general but I take the information he shares in this book with a grain of salt. I say this only because Dave is not a doctor nor a scientist. I can't agree more with cutting out sugar and carbs to help you live longer but some of the supplements suggested is what makes me skeptical. There are A LOT! If you want to do exactly what Dave is doing to live until you're 180 years old, you have to have A LOT of cash and no aversion to needles. It seems ...more

This is hands down one of the best health and science books I've ever read. If you want to reduce your risk of dying from the most common "old age diseases" or are just curious of what the world has to offer in terms of anti aging and health than this is the book for you.
I love how much research is put into this book. Dave really knows his stuff and there is something for everyone here. He goes from biohacks that cost nothing to some that still cost a fortune. But the best part is that the more

Some great detail based on in-depth research and self-administered trial and error from decades of biohacking. A bit extreme in some areas the lengths that one would have to go to, as well as the financial costs, to actually apply these practices to your own life. There are also so many different avenues to follow for a single "symptom" that might or might not work out. But if you look at the lump sum of what the author is offering by way of information, you can extract a path of health and ...more

This book gave me hope for my aging body. I liked many of his innovative suggestions and plan to try some. I did not know that I was already a biohacker as I have tried some things on myself that were ahead of their time (such as stem cell transplants, and IV Vit C along with more normal stuff like exercise and nutrition. I've tried every diet on the planet. It's not that I want to live to 180 like Dave Asprey, but I want to be healthy until I die.

Valuable information and employable reading

I enjoyed reading Dave’s new book the same way i enjoy listening to most of the bulletproof radio podcasts. Reading the book saves countless hours of research on the current state of affairs and provides good directions on the most promising anti aging approaches. Thanks Dave and keep up the good work, you have a lot more books to write during the next (at least) 134 years !

Extremely engaging book! The author shares many tips on how living longer and happier, some of his practices are limited to very rich people. But I just loved reading it and already put some ideais into practice (the cheaper ones) Basically -Exercise a lot, fast eventually, don’t eat carbs, never eat sugar, eat tons of veggies and you’ll be good! ...more

I kind of loved hearing about all these suggestions for hacking health and promoting longevity. Dealing with a few health issues I am very open to non traditional ideas. There were so many here it was almost overwheming. Will be trying a few. My favorite health book of 2019.

Útil, aunque las recomendaciones no son en sí innovadoras debido a que esto ya se sabía con anterioridad, con el clásico uso de la venta de sus productos con la publicidad de sus libros

I’ve been one of his biggest fans, and still am, but a lot of this was old news. Fascinating stuff I hadn’t heard about neurological dentistry, though.
