Oh. My. God. What the hell, it can’t finish like that…. I have absolutely adored this series, and I’m so hoping this is not the end. If you haven’t read any of the Imperfection series, please start at the beginning, you won’t regret it… you’ll find new loves and new hates, D.D has killed it in character development while intertwining lives through haven and pure evil.

I entered reading this story with so many hatred towards Marisol (Marianna), s

Marisol, the woman you love to hate, no redeeming qualities, right? That is what I thought but just like any great writer D.D. can make you feel all the emotions. Twisting what you think you feel into a completely different emotion. Hate Marisol, begin to understand her and then....... I hope there is more to come, truly did not see the end leaving me there wanting more, wondering what is next for Marisol.

O. M. G!!! If you have read the previous 4 books in the Imperfection Series, this is a MUST READ! D.D. keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat to see what's going to happen next. If you think you have figured out the plot, just turn the page and she will leave you wanting more! By the time you get to book 5, you are invested in the characters she has created. This author has the perfect mix of romance, seduction, action and suspense. If you were born and raised in Maryland and frequent Ocean ...more

This author is amazing! When she can write a book that makes you change your feelings about a character you previously hated with a vengeance...I call that genius! This is Marisol’s book. It has a vindictive bit€h, Marisol, her equally evil husband, Manny, her conniving uncle, Cesar, a faithful maid/companion Teresa, a loyal employee, Roberto, corrupt politicians and drug companies, Declan, Aria, Carter and Aimee, Falcon and Marcus. Just a warning...you will need tissues.

A perfect combination of evil, trepidation and angst with a side dish of anxiety and hatred. The readers have hated Marisol from the beginning and when she was paired with Manny she became even worse. When Manny shows his true colors will Marisol revert to her old ways or will she transform into something else? Better or worse? Good or Evil? Hated or Understood? With this being the fifth book in the series, D.D. Lorenzo has brought out the big guns. Perfectly written and with emotions running hi ...more

I have not read any of this authors books before, I had the chance to read an ARC for the last book in the series so I bought the first 4 books and read them first. I am so glad I did. The ending was a surprise but it was good. The series was fun, suspenseful and sexy. All the best in a book.

This is by far the best book in this series. As much as I hate to say it, I love Marisol! In the beginning of this series, Marisol was quickly deemed the villiam we all loved to hate. D.D. Lorenzo wrote the villian like no other and in NPB she shed light on that villian and made me change my mind. Prepare to stay on the edge of your seat on this wild ride, it sure is unforgettable!

This is the fifth book and I could not wait start reading it. It didn’t disappoint me. Is was as good as I hoped. Just like the other four books it was exiting, twisted, full of love and heartbreak and a lot of bitch. I haven’t read a series like this in a long time but I am fan forever. Thank you Dee Dee.

This is book five in the series, and holy cow, it was phenomenal!! I have hated Marisol through this entire series, but this book showed me a softer, better side to her. It doesn't make up for what she has done, but I kinda connected with her in this one. ...more

the 5th book in this series is another smash hit and one you won't want to put down until you've read the whole book. As you delve into the first few chapters you will feel for Declan and Aria over an event that has happened to them and you know Marisol and her husband is behind. On the flip side Marisol and her husband were unaware of where the child came from that they are adopting. Marisol (if you can actually believe it) grows to love this child and once they find out where she came from all ...more

This was Book 5 of the Imperfection Series and it did not disappoint! Marisol and Manny are trying to live out a dream of a super couple. Manny is rubbing elbows with dirty politicians trying to get the Presidency of Columbia. If he succeeds he will be able to disguise all of the illegal activities within the cartel. It is Manny's decision to adopt a baby to the mix to improve their images. They both have done terrible things in the past. But Manny pushes the point of no return. Will Marisol and ...more

This is book five in the Imperfection series and I guess you could read this as a standalone, I highly recommend starting at the beginning. You will not be disappointed. Now for this book, I was impatiently waiting for Marisol to get her own book to tell her own story because let's be honest she has not been a favored character in the previous books. I was curious to learn more about her and why she is the way she is and does what she does, there is always a reason for the madness. I absolutely ...more

Finally – this is Marisol’s story, and what a story it is. Sincerely, read the first four in the series before you read this. Marisol is not just an abused daughter and wife; she is a character we have seen to be evil to the core. But now we meet an even more evil character, her husband Manny. The reader’s “met” him earlier in the series, but this book lays his (lack of) character bare. Can there ever be redemption, even fictional, for Marisol? Oddly, you won’t see her the same way at the end of ...more

This is the 5th book in The Imperfection series. I would say this is my favourite book out of the 5. You need to read these books in order to get the best reading experience. You can’t help but feel for Declan and Aria. Marisol and her husband are horrible human beings and have set off another event meant to hurt but, little do they know, where the child came from that they are adopting. As unbelievable as it seems, knowing what a horrible creature Marisol is, she actually grows to love this chi ...more

This woman is evil, I hated her from the very first book and honestly believed nothing in this book would change that feeling. In most ways it didn't but, just one tiny little glimmer of compassion slipped into this woman's heart. Heart breaking as well as frustrating read. For most of the characters it's both of these emotions, for two it is yet more greed and feelings of being untouchable. I hoped to get closure in this 5th part of the story but did I get it? Well I am not telling you, buy the ...more
