They encounter a very unusual cat---the Gigglepuss--who promises that he will "Tickle your fancy, tickle your toes, and you'll have giggles wherever you go." Sure enough, the girls can not stop giggling. At first, their parents are amused, but when they realize the girls can NO ...more

I am writing this review for my 5 year old granddaughter Laila. After we read this book this is her review:
The book has lots of colors. The girls are good sisters. She didn't think what the cat did was very nice but she also like to giggle too and likes to be tickled. She liked the pictures and the rhymes and said she wanted to read it again so that makes it a good book.

At first I thought I wouldn't be able to read it to her in one sitting but she was still and listening which is a feat in itsel

The day didn’t start out that well. Belle and Maisie were fighting over a toy and mom had enough and sent them outside. While playing on the trampoline a strange cat approaches and touches the girls. It seems the gigglepuss has cast his spell on the girls. But when they can’t stop laughing their parents take them to the doctor to find a cure. But the story doesn’t end there.

This time both Belle and Maisie are affected by the gigglepuss and the poor girls find themselves unable to stop laughing.

Sisters Annabelle and Maisie are fighting. But something very strange soon puts them both in a good mood. Until it gets out of control.

With another nod to Dr. Seuss, a mischievous cat gets two children in trouble. The author brings this picture book into the twenty-first century by adding a reference to Google. The rhyming text is engaging and well-executed, and the illustrations by Jaime Buckley accurately portray the author’s granddaughters Annabelle and Maisie.

The kids will be laughing along

Such a fun story! Girls meet gigglepuss while playing on the trampoline and got the giggles. When giggles didn't stop, parents took them to the doctors and he recommended a very unique cure. :)
